i'm using the default google video player and my videos are not arranged alphabetically. for example, it would go from videos beginning with "F", to videos with "B" then back to videos with "T" then back to "F". why can't google even make something like a video player arrange videos alphabetically, is that so hard to ask for? why must simple and useful things be so hard or even ommitted?
or am i just blind and there is a setting on the default player to do this? if so, can anyone tell me?

Search isn't my friend today or something. How do I see filename or movie title instead of a snapshot of the first frame in the movie? Having 6 black squares in the Album view makes it kind of difficult to pick a movie. This is for in Touchflow's built-in media player.
Please tell me there's a way to see what movie files are in the album besides cropping the videos so that their first frame has something recognizable.
I had this problem. But now I open all my films in file explorer ;-) They default starts in album.
Hmm, a bit clunky, but if nobody can suggest a more graceful solution that'll have to do.
Currently it's click one, view one, back to list and choose again. Is there anyway to specific a folder of videos to playback in sequence, or create a playlist of some sort that the default HTC video player will recognize? I know Coreplayer/TCPMP can do it, but they can't play encoded videos properly without hardware acceleration.
Thanks in advance.
i d love to know that too
a self bump...
So...can I conclude that such an app/option isn't available?
Any expert who can shed any light?
is there a way to use that video player as the default player for videos?
If I recall, associate your video files to the HTC_VideoPlayer.exe
How would i go about that

Click to collapse
yes, how would you do this? I prefer the HTC Video player over the 3rd party solutions but I can't find a good gui to access the videos aside from the ugly File Explorer
Total Commander perhaps?
The pictures and videos tab
Go to the pictures and videos tab.
Go to albums lower left.
Go to albums again on lower left and this wilol bring up a list of all of your pics and videos on both device and storage card.
Click the one you wish to play and from there it will use the HTC player by default.
Ugly route, but it works.
Please help anybody. Now the You tube player on the EVO is OK, as being a user of the Windows mobile there is a player call Kinoma play. What i liked about Kinoma play was that it played each you tube video right after another without setting up a play list or anything it just played the next video after the current one was done. Now I've search Hi and Lo and haven't seen any player that would do this on Android and the EVO. Now what I have learn is if you put videos in playlist it will do it. But here is the Problem I do not know if Google has disable this feature or not. But anytime I go to my YouTube account and click on playlist to add videos it doesn't add videos so. I'm willing to take any advice on what to do. Do anyone know an App that will play YouTube videos automatic. If not that would be a great app I would be willing to pay for it.
We all know that the A500 can't play most regular video formats such as DiVX and so on natively, so can anyone explain to me how come the Clear.Fi app is able to read these files well enough to generate thumbnails of them, but fails when I try to play them?
It doesn't make sense to me... How can it make a thumbnail of a random frame from the video if it can't read the encoding?
Yes, I know I can use Moboplayer to play back, and I do... Just trying to work out how Clear.Fi can make thumbnails of files it can't play.
I was just wondering the exact same thing today, any ideas anyone?
