Return / replacement question - Nexus 10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi there, on Monday I requested a replacement device and received the email linking me to rebuy the replacement device ( they hold the cash till your old device is sent back, so my question is am I supposed to have had some confirmation email on the new device, maybe a tracking code? As I have not received an email about the new device I am expecting, thanks

New streak

Hey guys I just got a replacement streak due to my my wifi not working. They said they would send me a new one and a packing material to send my broken one back but there no return info or packing info. Ive even check to see if they sent an email with the info and nothing. Should I keep my wifi broken phone or conact them and send it back? Oh and this my 3rd phone replacement.

N4 ownership transfer....

So I received my nexus 4 about a week ago, and have been loving it ever since. Just the other day (I believe it was Thursday) I wake up and check my phone, and notice a dead pixel! So later that day I call Google inquiring about a RMA, but since I bought the device off of Swappa and was not the original owner, I could not get the RMA. I contacted the seller of my phone and he called Google, the lady on the phone/email told him that a "specialist" was working on my case, and this was two days ago. So basically what I'm asking, has anyone gone through something similar? Any ETA on when this specialist's work will be done?

It happened to me with a nexus 10 I got it from Craigslist but all they ask me was for the Original email that unit was bought it took like a week to get the replacement but they will put a hold on your Google wallet when they receive the device they release the founds sorry but English is not my language I hope it helps

Alright , I called Google again and they didn't know anything of it, is there anyway I can transfer ownership without involving the seller?

Be patient mine took like 3 weeks but it was my fault since I didn't call them for a week after they ignored me.they require some info about the original owner they asked for name email and order number the eBay seller I bought from was cool to give me the info. They contacted him I think to make sure if he OK with the transfer. Even if Google deny u RMA lg should cover you

You have to call Googles RMA number and they will redirect you to the RMA specialtists who will then contact you through email for the necessary info and then they'll send you a link to buy the RMA. The whole process to change ownership and buy the RMA took one day and the RMA shipped the next morning, overall it was a surprisingly smooth process.

The guy that sold me a nexus ignored all my communications. Google will not do anything to help you in this situation. They only transfer ownership of you have the original purchasers info.
I ended up sending it to LG for repair and had to go out and buy a GS3 as a temporary phone in the mean time. (~2 weeks to get your phone back from LG )

What do you think. It looks suspicious to me, but I will probably try it.

Bluetooth chip would significantly increase the price

I got shipping confirmation email and not for long i got an email from ebay that the listing removed, ill submit a dispute if the item not arrived in 2 weeks :thumbup:

Just ordered - problem processing

Hi Guys,
Just ordered a Nexus 4 16GB to replace my LG Optimus 4X HD (missed a Nexus device).
During my order I got a message saying "there was a problem processing your order".
Yet I've been given a order number and shipping date (5th March), the payment is showing in my wallet too.
I called Google and they said the order is processing but I'm not sure I believe them.
Anyone experience this?

Sorry, I haven't experienced this. But I have something that may be helpful for you. It takes 2 days for Google to process your order and ship it. 2 days is based on my experience with 3 times ordering Nexus 4 with them. Hence, after 2 days, if the message is still there, you should call and ask them. Or you can call and ask them again, like "Would you mind removing that message," or ask them why

I've searched before posting this topic and even found one thread with the same topic, but unfortunately didn't get the desired answer as the member who opened that thread didn't replied back.
So, i have received my RMA device but now the problem i am facing is i dont have the original charger of my device, so shall i send my device only with their label OR do i have to order one original and then send it back?
Has anyone else send their device without charger ???

I am EXACTLY in the same boat. My relative forgot the charger when went travelling. Now he needs to RMA as netiher the camera is working nor phone's signals.
But tell me this, firstly how did you get the RMA, as in they must have hold up the amount, right? so if you dont send it back, they will deduct the amount from your account.
Moreover, i heard Google exhausted their complete N4 inventory, then how come they are sending RMAs? Is Google having a separate RMA stock of N4s?

Okay, the problem with my phone is its charging port, so i simply called them and mentioned the issue and they've explained the procedure.
Took money out and send me the replacement device
Now i have 21 days(19 left) to send my device to them, thats why i am kinda in a hurry to know if they'll accept it without the charger or not :/
