Otterbox case - Galaxy Note II General

I went to the sprint store today to check out their cases. The salesman told me that they contacted otterbox and the cases are ready but they are behind on shipping. Just thought i would share that info

lynnwood (seattle) sprint store release

the sprint store took my name and phone number about three weeks ago, and they called me this morning as promised to tell me the evos would be in tomorrow and I could finalize my preorder giving them my credit card number over the phone, but since I work nearby I decided to stop in. They wrote down my credit card number on the waiting list form. It looked like there were about 15 people preordered at this store. He said they expected to get 100+ phones but ended up only getting about 60. So apparently there will be about 45 available for people who line up outside. He said they open at 8 but will have employees in early to activate phones for the preorder customers. He said stop in any time, walk past the line and find him and he will help me. He also sold mea gel case for $15 which I'm "not allowed to show anyone" so I won't they had three other cases - the silver-ish bodyglove one, a hard plastic white one, and a pouch type one that totally covers the phone. The car charger I bought is just a generic sprint one for whatever phone. They said they got about 30 or 40 cases in. Someone was in the store hooking up the store evo phone when I was in there. So, if anyone arond seattle wants an evo you might be able to get one in the morning here (44th/148th streets I think, with a scottrade office next door) considering the best buy doesn't carry any sprint phones. There is also a radio shack right next door to the sprint store. Good luck!

Was This a Nexus One Scam?

OK i wanted to secure a Nexus One before they went out which i DID , but searching ebay i came across this auction 140431374606 on ebay the guy is selling +10 nexus one at $300 each which is an amazing price but i suspected that it was a scam, however i did watch the auction.
Now just posting to warn people that if something is too good to be true then don't bite it, keep your hard earned cash.
The price is crazy, but I highly doubt it was a scam. The description reads "New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable). Packaging should be the same as what is found in a retail store, unless the item is handmade or was packaged by the manufacturer in non-retail packaging, such as an unprinted box or plastic bag. See the seller's listing for full details."
I just think whoever bought it got a good deal. The guy is 100% feedback at 292 transactions, which is good. Plus, if you haven't used ebay in a while, if the item came to you at anything but new, since they claimed it to be new, you can open a claim and have ebay force them to give you your money back and you return it, even if they said no returns.
If course it's a scam.
It's a SCAM. I bought from another guy long ago like this. He was selling many Nexus Ones for $300 each all brand new. He was located in Estonia.... I bought one from him and he asked each and everyone of us to leave feedback before he sent the item. He also had 200+ feedback. I think they buy their feedback so they can scam.

Got this one as a Christmas gift for my GF a couple weeks ago but we broke up this past Thursday :'( Time to sell and get myself some goodies instead. Any hot ladies out there, feel free to holla!
If you have had it less then 30 days, you can return it to sprint. Might wanna throw it up on eBay. Any Pictures? Good luck.
I didn't buy it from Sprint. I bought it brand new and sealed from Ebay because I didn't want to pay $500+ for it through the Sprint store or add another contract. My GF already had Sprint but had the hero and wanted the EVO. So, I just gotta sell it outright
Haven't taken pics yet...didn't think it'd be necessary given it's brand spankin' new but I'll post some for sure if that's the will of the people! LOL
I generally do post a bunch on ebay but MAN, their damn fees have gone sky high. Between ebay and paypal, you're giving up about a 12% chunk and have to sell the damn thing pretty cheap considering all the wholesellers and scammers that post ridiculously low prices. I bought this one fairly cheap to be honest with you. I paid $395 Buy it Now and $5.95 for shipping. Not bad for a sealed one but had I known this **** would go down with my GF, I would have kept the damn thing sealed and sold it for roughly the same if not a couple bucks more, and locally.
Just posted it on ebay with a few pics for anyone that's interested. Link:

Samsung Protect Claim Experience

I've never paid for insurance on any of my prior Android phones, and never needed it. But after seeing too many cracked screens, I decided maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea for the Edge. Turned out to be a good decision. Five days after signing up I dropped my phone face down on gravel and cracked the right side of the screen very badly. Over the next several days, the cracks spread about 3/4 of the way across the face of the phone.
Anyway, I filed my claim online on a Sunday evening. About an hour later I had an email stating my claim had been approved and I would get another email when my replacement shipped. Monday, no email. Tuesday, no email. Wednesday morning I get a call telling me they had none in stock so they were sending me a check for the full retail value of the phone. OK, that's cool, but I wish they hadn't taken 2 days to figure it out. The check was sent Fed Ex next day, and arrived Thursday.
Wednesday afternoon I bought a new Edge. Since I was buying retail, I had to pay sales tax. I emailed the insurance company back and asked them to reimburse me for that cost. They told me to send them a copy of the receipt, so I scanned and sent it by email. Two days later I had another check for the tax, also sent FedEx next day.
While I wish they had processed the initial claim a little faster, overall I'm very happy with the service. And since I only had to send back the broken phone, I now have an extra charger, cable, headphones, and SIM tray pin.

Will there be phones available at the stores on the 19th?

Do you think someone could walk in on the 19th and buy one at the AT&T stores or will they be super popular and sold out. I'm disappointed with the shipping on my pre-order and thinking about going to the store in the AM to find out.
More than likely, hell I pre ordered and still haven't received mine so tomorrow it is.

I guess we'll both find out in a few hours. I was told by customer service today to refuse delivery of my pre-ordered phone when it does finally arrive to avoid restocking. I'm expecting a battle.
Why is it like pulling teeth working with AT&T when I'm trying to spend money?
I think it depends on the volume of the store. I was told today by a store associate when I called my local corporate store that I was most likely not going to be able to get a phone from them if I were not in line when they opened. They had so many inquiries, they would sell out early. So next I went in to my closest AT&T authorized reseller and he told me no problem. He already had the phone in and went to the back and put my name on it. He said I was the first to come in and ask. I can't get there until 7pm tomorrow night and let him know. He said it didn't matter, he would hold it. I offered to go ahead and pay but he couldn't do it and guaranteed it was mine. He said even if they get a rush, he would still hold it. So the moral of the story is check around. You'll probably be able to find one.
AT&T corporate stores carry only silver note 7's, at least in texas. Authorized AT&T retailers seem to have the black or blue versions, but in very limited numbers. An AT&T corporate employee told me even their stocks are low because online orders are prioritized....even over their actual customers in their own stores.
I was at the store at 8 an hour before opening. There was no one else there. They only had silver ones.
Went to a local Best Buy that opened at 10. Again no one else waiting and only silver.
Went to MyATT app and found one (blue) about an hour away. I put in an online order, and was charged for it, just to be sure it was still there when I got there. When I got there it was sold to someone else, who was still there. While the district Mgr., who just happened to be there, and I were discussing the situation UPS showed up and delivered one blue one. It was an interesting morning, but I was home by one with my new blue Note 7. When UPS delivers my pre-ordered one next week it goes to the store unopened and I was told by the District MGR there will be no restocking despite what the store people told me.
I only found one other person buying one.

Same situation for me. Went to corporate store 30min before opening. I was the first to be served, but they only had silver. Was trying to get black. They mentioned that they expected to have the other colors in later in the day. Was told to check back around 1pm. Called at 1, and was told they received one at 11:30, and they had sold it. I called all my local AT&T Corporate stores. All either did not received any, or received 2 at most. Stopped at my local BB, and they had not received any black as well.
Started down the list of Authorized Retailers. Found one that had 1 Black and 1 Silver. Immediately drove down there and picked it up. Since the AT&T authorized resellers have the same deals as AT&T, I would give them a try. Did the BOGO and get a S7 at the same time.
I walked into a corporate store yesterday at 5:15 pm and walked out at 5:30 with a silver one. I was evenly split between silver and black so that was fine. They had two silvers. I had preordered, but wasn't set to ship until Monday or Tuesday so I cancelled and walked in instead.
