Korean Note II section - Galaxy Note II General

Any ETA on when we can get a separate board for us Korean E250L/S/K owners?
I've got a ROM and it'd be nice to get a few ROMs and kernels ported.

We have N7100, N7500 and carrier specific subforums now.
Give us an E250 subforum!

[Q] Which is the right development forum for my german T-Mobile S4?

Hallo Everyone,
I finally got my S4 from T-Mobile Germany. I'm now searching for the right development forum to find some ROMs. Which is the correct variant forum for me? Is it the "T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4 Android Development" forum? Does it cover the german ones?
Best Regards

Well, of course you have the Snapdragon version. So that's the main thing to focus on as far as development. The US Tmobile S4's are Snapdragon as well....so as far as I know, maybe minus an LTE band, your German S4 and the US S4 are identical hardware wise.
I'm new to the Samsung root scene, but with my HTC, we had to have SuperCID to be able to flash any ROM that fit our hardware, despite what carrier it was for etc.
I'm sure someone with more Sammy knowledge can give you better info, on if it's ok to flash any ROM or Kernel related to the I9505. Or if you even need to have SuperCID, or something like it on Samsung devices.
Cheers

[Q] G2 development

Hi all,
I'm thinking about buying a LG G2 . I see it has a lot of variants . From what I see they are almost identical in everything in terms of hardware and the main difference is the bands each branded variants can support . So does this means that any rom for any variant can work on the the other variant ?
And in general one of the most important factors about getting a new device for me is the development community . so which variant has the best development community and would get faster updates ? is it the international version ( D802) ? or one of the american branded version?
Sorry if this was asked before but I could not find similar topic before I post
Thanks in advance
Well , if we take it with number of threads , we will see that the Verizon variant has the highest number of threads , does this mean that the Verizon variant has best support and development community? and would have faster updates ??
and I didn't see any sub forum for the Canadian variant ( D803) does this means it doesn't have any development community ? or there are no roms that can work on that variant ?
Please guys any one that can advise me in this as I will be buying very soon

Dusting off my old ATT S4 (OC3 unrooted). Can I get an AOSP(ish) 5.1 rom?

Please point me to the correct thread. Thanks!
At&t SGH-I337 phones have a locked bootloader. It is impossible to install a custom kernel, so there are no AOSP based roms that can run on this phone. You are restriced to Touchwiz based roms only. There is plenty of information here about how to do this. The best place to start is a sticky thread in the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 General forum titled [Index] All Things AT&T... by guut13.

is the development of xtrestolite still going on?

???
good question mate..
I believe so. I know this one was just posted a few weeks ago for the g900h: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/development/rom-t3224562 but I couldn't tell you if it is the same developer or not.
Which is the newest XtreStoLite version for the G900F?
Thx
AFAIK, the development for the international versions stopped at 2.2, however someone decided to adopt the rom and continue development. Unfortunately, the person that continued the development only builds for the G900H model, as he does not own an international version. So in short, no but yes if you have a G900H.
Edit: make sure that you don't flash a G900H rom onto a G900F model -_-
