Hello Joe,
welcome to XDA!
What ROM do you have installed? Some ROMs have volume problems you cannot fix, I'm afraid. If that's the case, you have to opt for another one.
Best regards
Getrid …
I think there is an app called "HD2 Mic Control" or something like that. Try it and see if you can configure your mic's level.

Did you fix it and how?
Hello
download the file: htcleo.adb
htcleo.adb default.acdb change the name and replace the various softach then it will be quieter mic gain without using hd2 micgain.
It works in any firmware.
Unzip the firmware default.acdb delete the file path is:
system / etc / firmware
Paste in the same place htcleo.adb but renamed to default.acdb.
Firmwawe pack again in the zip and install.
Way by me tested on at least four different softach.
Htcleo.adb file has just been muted the microphone so that the well can be heard by the ear and as a speakerphone.
Use the hd2 micgain it works only if you receive a call and if you call it every time during the connection each time you need to attenuate the volume + / - and then work micgain and as is always the outgoing calls.
I know what I'm writing because I spent the whole week is the time to get to this so I could hear other people well.
I would add that there was a moment that I wanted to throw mijego Leon because of the kind of small detail but well working phone are essential.
I have a htc hd2 EU version of the GSM network and not CDMA CDMA reportedly because you do not have to do this combination.
I do not know why chefs do not normally throw each as modified firmware htcleo.adb htcleo.

I mean to say when I connect headphone to my phone..everthing seems good and easy sound and music comes fro m headphone..but as I get incoming call..sound comes from phone speaker as well as from headphone at a time and when call disconnects after that wen I play music..sound comes from headphone as well as phone speaker!person who has wear headphone can also listen music n person who didn't wear headphone can also listen music ! same way wen call comes person who wears headphone can listen voice of person who is on other hand as well as person who didn't wear headphone can also listen voice of person who is on other hand through speaker!! voice is coming from both ways at a time! I hope everyone would understood what I mean to say! its problem with 3.3 rom not with others!
This problem is just occuring in aku 3.3 rom...beside this rom is very good i like everything but this sound problem is very irritating....
pls help me ...will b very thankful to members and moderator (faria)
Might be a hardware problem but have you tried to reflash with crossbow or flash with a different rom to see if its the rom
(it will stop the problem if its crossbow) or if it continues with the other rom that means its your headphone jack.
I would flash it to the original rom it had if its possible or another rom that you have tried
I dont know if feria will tell you something about you making a new account
but at least you could of used a way different name.
its problem with 3.3 rom....others rom work perfectly!!sound problem comes when I install 3.3 rom! with other rom its not problem!! headphone is abs fine n its nt hardware probs!
If you are using the AKU 3.3 ROM, you are not using Crossbow, that ROM simply had Crossbow icons, and sounds.
You are only using WM5
Do you mean that the sound (music and ringer) come out of the speakers while the phone is ringing or does the music continue to play through the speakers after the phone stops ringing? If it's the second one then I don't know what's wrong however, the first is normal but there's a registry hack to change it. I recommend searching for it I'll look too but it's been a while it'll be hard to find...
EDIT: It wasn't as hard to find as I thought. Here's the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=261351

I understand what you mean but I'm using the same ROM and I just tried to replicate the problem and can't. By the way the AKU 3.3 ROM isn't WM6 it just uses some enhancements from WM6. It's still a WM5 ROM. Anyway this problem seems to be a bit beyond me I hope someone is able to help you.

The fix is nice, but I won't install it. Actually I really like the current setup. No sound for clicking menu, but beep when alert windows pop up. In WM5, you have to get both or none, I am looking for this scheme for a long time.
MMS on WM6 Crossbow
I have:
- ArcSoft Composer 3.0.16.6 - OK
- operator settings - OK
BUT when I tap on "Send/Recieve" Wizard write "Error Synchronizing".
Somebody help me!!!
I had the same thing happen till I set the tweak in registrywizard: always on TmobileMMS (which is the server I set up under MMS configurations>Servers) Now I send and recieve all day long.
Where is this tweak in Registry Wizard? I do not see any MMS Tweaks?
hey how did u do that i dont see in reg wizard. im have arcsoft 3.0.7.19.cab

WHAT WHERE I MUST DO??? (step by step please)
Yes that is the right one! That is the one i check and my MMS worked. that drop down menu should have the MMS sever as one of the choices. if so select it.
To one and all,
Two purposes for this thread:
Generally - I'm hoping it will be a good place for all the people (like me) that have tried to get a solution for this issue in so many forums (over so many years)and have simply been told "you need the wired headset for an antenna", to register their interest in a solution - hopefully a bit of chat and interest will finally yeild a solution. A simple +1 should suffice.
Specifically - I listen to FM Radio via my wired headset on my windows mobile device for about 3 hours a day what I would like to do:
I would like to use my wired headset (or some alternate antenna solution - for me to choose, ultimately providing a suitably strong FM signal to my device).
I will then conceal this antenna (depending what it is will depend how I do it (no rude remarks required ;o) )) and then put the mobile phone and the antenna in my pocket.
I then want to listen to FM radio via free to air (not streamed via the internet - data in AUS is expensive, I don't want a sub thread about who I'm with and alternate data plans) A2DP compliant bluetooth stereo headphones.
I am not asking for RDS, although I may look for a radio app with this later.
I am not asking for TMC.
I know this will drain my battery - I can manage this.
I know I could continue to use my wired heaset, however, I and many others based on my XDA and general iternet searching would like a nice simple solution to the above if any developer(s) are able to assist, I and I believe many others with similar non-existant coding skills, would appreciate it very much.
I am not intending to be rude, I have tried to be very specific about my requirements, I am trying to demonstrate that I have done some research and have hopefully highlighted that I do not need any "you need the wired headset for FM Radio therefore it can't be done" type answers.
I am very interested in this community and it's ability to rise to the "I can do that" approach which is why I am posting here.
Any feedback, greatly appreciated - especially if you can point me in the direction of a solution!
Kind regards
apj_apj
How to hide the antenna, I do not know, just using a small adapter with USM for Jack, he was short and easy to hide from the waist bag in his pocket jeans.
Even better quality of reception.
And to transfer the sound to Bluetooth use the excellent program BTFM Radio v1.51
Thanks very much mrTag. I've downloaded the application, can't read or translate the readme.txt or the whatsnew.txt so will just have to have a go I suppose! Does anyone know where there is an English equivalent?
My new windows mobile arrives in about 2 - 3 days, my current one died, so I will let you know how I go when I get it and try it out.
Thanks again for the quick response and the possible solution to my problems!
Here is a rough translation

I've been trying to listen my HTC Topaz radio via my Bluetooth CrashHelmet.
This works - allbeit just one speaker (mono).
Great Thx!
Almost there!
@mrTAG,
I've given BTFM Radio v1.51 a try on my Acer M900 handheld. Its native FM tuner application allows toggling the sound between the wired headsets (which act as antenna) and the device's loudspeaker.
I can't read anything in russian, but I've noticed that BTFM Radio broadcasts sound to my A2DP headsets only when FM sound has been toggled to the loudspeaker, and I tap on the upper left button on the application's screen. Nevertheless, the loudspeaker sound is not cut off at all, for what I have FM sound coming from both my A2DP headsets and the device's loudspeaker. There's not much point in such a behaviour, don't you think? I wonder if I missing some settings, due to my complete ignorance in reading russian. Any hints?
Furthermore, could you give me some guidance in reading the application buttons and settings in general, because I don't have a russian keyboard to try to enter what they are showing, on an online translation tool.
Thanks, anyway.
Cheers!
Carlos
I am unfortunately not a developer program.
Try to disassemble the program and translated into English.
But I'm afraid you do not help, most likely your device is not supported
I was looking for a program like this. One question: does this app integrate well with calls? I mean, if you're listening to radio and a call is received, radio is stopped and you can handle the call? I have a a2dp headset for my helmet and it would be great to be able to listen the radio and answer the calls while riding...
Thanks!
i am going to try this program with my Samsung omnia i900.
And btw, i found out a way to translate the notepad and readme to
english. please find attached files for he english translated readme and whatsnew.txt from the files.

I wonder if your A2DP connection was already active, before you tapped on the first button. I don't read russian either, but I remember seeing a popup window once, when I had forgotten to activate A2DP beforehand.
Well, just for the records, after e-mailing Dmitriy, the developer himself, I've been told that the 1st button is "Start", the 2nd one is "Stop", the 3rd one is "Record" (provided that you have EmzMp3EncDll.dll on your \Windows directory) and the 4th one is "Exit".
Just my 2 cents...
Cheers!

cool, works for me but i have the radio playing out of both my phone speeker and my bluetooth headset...
any solution? if i turn down the volume it also turns it down on headset...
waiting on my stereo BT HS, meanwhile tried with mono and dosnt work, after playing with it (i dont read russian) when i change advanced bt audio setting to just audio headset goes into feed back like mic is wid open but no radio, i am hoping it will work when i get stereo HS.
FYI i have anadapter for 3.5 & charging and that allows me to listen to radio without the HS that comes with the phone i note these have 6 pins inside ware mii usb for connecting to pc has 5.
thanks for this program either way i've been searching and its closest i've come yet.
Here is the reposted link for the app hope its of use for all
After trying al lot off "software-solutions". I've got the best result with a little conector on my HTC Touch Diamond2 T5353 (HTC Topaz 100).
It's a little thing wich you can plug in via mini-usb, and out there is a headphoneconnector (mini-usb), mini-usb and an audio-jack.
In the audio-jack I plug in my bluetooth adaptor (dongle) of my blackbeat906 headset.
So I save my phonebattery and the adaptor works as an fm-antenna.
Hi ,
Much appreciate your having posted this file in the forum as its unavailable at the earlier mentioned url, however I'm unable to download it it gets downloaded as a .php file and not the .zip file its meant to be.
Also would this work on sony ericsson Elm ( I need a Java version please....)which has its inbuilt RDS radio.
many thanks

Tom
PS: are you able to re-post and or redirect me to the right place for the above please?
I used to use MSVC 1.6 on the Tytn2 on WM6.5 (see sig) and the confirmation notifications when you called someone always used the bluetooth headset. Since running it on the Leo MSVC seems to use the loudspeaker on the handset instead of the bluetooth headset even though every setting is marked as "Announce notifications using Bluetooth hands free only"
Anyone else having this issue as I did a search and couldn't find anyone.
Edit: Just had it working once but then the other end couldn't hear me when the call connected. Then I tried again and it had reverted back to not working.
I went to Bluetooth settings, Advanced, Audio and ticked the box then rebooted the phone...
I have this same problem! Its annoying... you want to make a call and the prompts/confirmation come from the phone... Please, can someone figure this out?

IT isn't... I have done more research..
The Leo (and the TouchPro2) use a Widcomm BT stack as opposed to the usual MS stack. Sadly, this means the BT won't play nice with a lot of different apps/equipment. This isn't something that can be swapped out easily as NRG has pointed out. Touch Pro 2 users are still facing the same problems even though that phone was released much earlier. Some however have reported some success when using certain custom ROMS... how its working with some ROMS and not others is still a mystery it seems
I would watch the ROM Development thread carefully to see if a ROM what works with our MSVC shows up....
Hello,
Is there a workaround... ?
Thanks in advance for any info,

I have the same problem. I'm using an old phone when I need to use hands-free. After spending a lot of money on my HD2, I'm not impressed.
I there a particular combination of headset and software that does work, especially for voice dialing?
have you tried this?
I would, but I don't know if I even have voice command on my phone.

Workaround
Hi,
for this following workaround seems the only way to get it runnin:
My BT-Headset has the ability to be set as a Stereo-Device. When I establish a connection to this Stereo-Device, I can use it (my BT Headset) to give Commands and recieve "answers" from the VC. In case I want to start a phone-Call, my headset changes the connection automatically from "Stereo-Device" to "Handsfree-Device" and back, after finishing the Call.
This may be the Reason, why someone here already got it running with a BT-Stereo-Headset.?
Sorry for my bad english...
For anyone who is interested i have a sony mw600 bluetooth headset which i have tried with different platforms on the HD2 with varying success.
However i now have wp7 mango installed and it works almost perfectly with the headset and is even showing the song titles.
Only issue i find is that sometimes when you use voice command it will call the number but not transfer the audio to the headset - but you can then transfer in call by just pressing the call button
mango seems to be running really well on the hd2 now.
many thanks to all the developers and everyone on this site
Hi redsufi!
In the matter of fact I am very interested that you have the MW600. Your timing also was perfect. I know it's a bit hassle but I wonder if you could help me with any of these things concerning the MW600?
GoogleBroughtMeHere said:
Hello!
To those of you with the MW600 here, I have a couple questions to you:
1) Can you use this as a microphone only device for let's say Skype and other voice communication programs (Ventrilo etc)? Meaning you wouldn't have any earbuds/headset plugged in the MW600 but only use its built in bluetooth microphone and listen through other (wireless) headphones that are plugged straight into the PC?
In other words: does the MW600 work as a microphone without having anything plugged into it? Could someone please test that? I would love to have a wireless mic on my shirt somewhere.
2) How good is the range inside a normal house? Does a single wall block almost all of it or can you wander around many rooms?
3) It was somewhat covered here but would you recommend it for its microphone quality or are there better ones around?
4) I realize this isn't under the Galaxy Tab section, but has anyone tried this device with that? How was it?
Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi there
I dont really use skype as its not available with windows phone 7 yet but with normal voice calls you can use the microphone wihtout the headphones attached so don't see that it would be a problem.
The range i think is 10metres and its fine through walls only when you get to the limit it just cuts off -
i find the quality of the mic and with listening to music is great
regarding the galaxy tab dont have one of these so you could try googling it
its a sony product so usually would only have full suppport of all the features with another sony product but all the functions work fine with wp7 on hd2 as well as wm6.5 - there were some issues wiht various android and nodo builds.
Alright, sounds good. Those helped a ton, thank you very much for the information!
Enjoy your MW600. I will soon probably too.
Works great with the Galaxy tab
Caller ID on WP7?
I have one(i.e. MW600)...It didn't display caller ID with WP7...rest is good ... does anybody know any fix or am I missing something.
I tried
DFT ,
elMInStER.blackSideSeven.1.12.7401,
BOYPPC-SHIFTPDA-Build 7.0.7392.0 -V5 , to name a few.
I have a stereo bluetooth headset (LG Tone) that I have been using with my HTC HD2. When used with Android, I get pretty good sound quality. However, in WP7 (I have tried two 7.8 ROMs) I get horrible sound quality with a hissing staticky noise. Anyone else have this problem and know a solution or a WP7 ROM that doesn't have this problem?
Thanks

check how many fast is your SD card (with WP Bench)... if lower than 6 MB/s change Sd card...
but unfortunately if you want good and no problems with A2DP you must buy original WP7 device... HD2 device not originally supported by WP7 and all drivers and settings developers make by own and still BT functions not working very well on HD2 with WP7

That it does, and it's a fantastic ROM, but there's still absolute horrible sound quality through my bluetooth headset. It's a real pity, because Windows Phone is so brilliant otherwise, and it sucks to have to leave it over such a minor quibble...
