Hi guys.
Well, of the roms i have tried, i encountered one bug that makes the task list in task manager(when you hold the home button) duplicated. For example, if i have been using titanium backup, sometimes when i open the task manager i see Titanium backup listed twice in the whole list. It duplicates the entire list for some reason. Cant seem to find anyone else having this issue when i searched google=/
Dont bother saying to properly wipe before flashing because i always wipe data, cache, system, and boot when flashing a newer rom.
Anyone knows why this happens? Currently on Rasbeanjelly with a i9023
How about trying stock?

what i find strange is that i dont see anyone else with this bug!
edit: the stock i tried---> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1784666
Try the real stock! Flash it via fastboot

I had some weird thing where the apps wouldn't update. Try reflashing your kernel or try a different one. Play with it.

Did you try a full wipe? Maybe formating sd after saving pics and stuff you need...
Are you restoring data with titanium?
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using xda premium
already tried flashing several different kernels, already tried full wipe and already tried not restoring anything with titanium backup. Its a minor bug and it does not bother me but i thought everyone else was getting this bug because it happens to me with every JB rom until now
Edit: Haven't really formatted SD, but i erased everything on it except my photos, musics etc...Maybe formatting might fix it...

He's right.
Flash factory from Google
https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
Use this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1785672
Also format SD on your computer, not through CWM.

euuhh! then u type fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
and u got a custom recovery agian and u can flash everything u want
why is this a problem?
this has happened to me a couple of times in the past, but NOT every time. so, at least for me, it's not something i would have to take any drastic measures to fix. if it is happening to you EVERY time you need to force close apps, then i understand.

i never said it was a problem, i just thought that it was a JB bug since it happened to me on every JB rom i have tried. But i see no one mentioning it on the web. It doesnt always happen, just sometimes, especially when i have used several apps. But its like i said before, i am not gonna flash another rom just because of this bug

Hi everyone,
I recently acquired an X10 and first thing to do was, of course, upgrade to froyo. Although, frustratingly I am not having any luck with any custom roms. All present the same problem: the phone boots to launcher, will stay on for 3/4 seconds and then crashes and reboots. I've followed instructions accordingly and made sure to have the correct baseband but to my demise, still no luck.
Is this a common problem with this phone? Anyone know anything that I can try? I'm ripping out my hair here, and getting very fed up with this phone!!
Most reboot once or twice upon launch but then its fine. U need to be patient

I waited as you suggested but it just keeps on rebooting countless times until the battery eventually ran out. Could it be a hardware problem of some sort?
Thats a tipical problemwhen you got the wrong baseband instaled.
Flash the correct baseband for the ROM you are trying to use.
Do a clean flash with seus, then use flashtool to root and xrec. Or try to flash a plain baseband file from the collection, also afterwards clean dalvik cache.

The SE update (stock) rom is BB 54. I tried Achotjan rom on bb 54 and same problems. I also tried TWlauncher Ultima 4 flashed on BB 52 and still had the same problems. This may be a silly question but is there a suggested BB to use? Is a higher BB better than a lower one? I didn't have this much problem flashing my Milestone
Hey man the rom tells you which baseband is best. Read the instructions. If you have the same problem. Then boot into recovery and flash cobratos baseband patch

Everytime a need upgrade is out people with a modified device need to download at least 800mb to have the upgrade the even if the update is small...so I would like to know if at every ota update users may provide the ota zip like this we can flash it with mobile Odin and avoid the pain in the neck of downloading a large file with hot file !
Am I the only one to have this idea ? Is it possible ?

Usually it,s more than a few MB, and it's very rare it's not a lot. the last update had almost 10k changes, many... what with file signing and such it's easier to to just grab the lot.
Yeah but anyway usually the file size is around 250-300 mb not 800mb

I agree. Hot file is so slow by the time it finishes downloading my file is cold!!!!
Thanks for this thread mate!!
I am looking for something similar
OTA often says to me that the Auto updates are being pushed in the order they were requested and if I try to update thru kies, it downloads atleast 1GB of data for me (atleast for XXELLA it did)
and I heard this update thru OTA is oly 21+ MB!!!
looking for a workaround for this.
I remember that ota files were provided by someone for the first jellybean leaks and the file were only 250mb

It won't work with modfied ROMs as the OTAs also patch files, and those pathces dont work with modified files, also the OTA checks system, kernel and recovery to be unaltered before it's actually performing the update (it'd just cause tons of softbricks if it didn't and would run on a modified system).
Further more, OTAs are flashed via (stock) recovery, not Odin.
You can flash ota files with mobile Odin so it would work I think

OK, so I had been using CWM. Got bored and flashed TWRP. Since the. My phone has been completely screwed. I am usually pretty savvy, but I am stumped! I have no root, and it was a struggle to get my ROM to even boot. I want to get CWM back. I don't have working PC available to me right now? Is there anyway to fix this? And also, did I do anything I was not supposed to?
And I have tried ROM Manager and everything!

flash the cwm zip in recovery... it´s the newest CWM_6.0.3.6_touch_mako
it´s in my dropbox : https://www.dropbox.com/s/ifxfzldd26jms58/CWM_6.0.3.6_touch_mako.zip
I doubt that the problem depends on the recovery.
I think that after flash back the cwm you will have the same problems with your rom

Next time you make a post like this. You should say how you fixed instead of just saying you got it.
It helps out others as well.

i had it on Tesla ROM i was using 18/12/2016 when i moved to 24/12 it started rebooting with zetsubou(my actual kernel) so i did a clean installation and went back to 18/12, to this day i installed 24/12 but after upgrading supersu and it went fine until now when they released 07/01/2017 gonna do another clean install. but from now on im searching new ROM cause i cant do clean install all the time. its my only phone. and it sucks keeping backups of everything.
