Friends i tried buttom remapper
But coult only remap home key to back key! And not back key which is a soft key in samsung galaxy y to home key
Please suggest what to do?
I use back key frequently and so i want it as a hard key
Please help

I found that in the /system/usr/keylayout/ these files are about the functions of our keys, I opened then by using Notepad++ and I can see the code, is it possible to change the keys by editing those code, and how to edit??
Or can someone edit them?
Coz i want to remap the camera key to start and end a call...

I remapped my keys using app called "Button Remapper" but actually it worked only in cyanogen mod. I remapped my volume keys as call buttons.
i knew that already, but i mean coding the buttons without using that, coz some of the keys are hidden, instead of showing up and can be edited on the app!

Yeah I tried changing the key manually to RECENT just taking a guess and it doesn't work. Will try the app.
Edit: tried with button remapper and launch key and there is no option

Funny, what you want to do is exactly how mine works, and I can't avoid it!
Home button pulse from suspend, inevitably launches recents apps.
I want to use home button for wake up, letting me on home screen, and I can't. I must everytime close recents apps. Annoying!!
