Hello Guys im new to XDA so i dont know if i'm posting in the correct section but anyway i have a Samsung Omnia M S7530 and i was wondering if i can install the Omnia 7 costum WP 7.8 rom . They are kinda close to hardware specs.

Is it possible to upgrade to/switch the OS without loosing "HTC Sense UI"?
as in upgrade to windows 7 or any other ?
and if possible what are the guidelines ?

There are many threads already speculating about windows 7 coming to the HD2
Windows phone 7 will not support sense IU
There are also threads investigating porting android to the HD2, also worth a read
Its always worth searching before posting as there is a great deal of information on this site

i have been searching,but have came up empty. Can you update from 5.2 to the WM 6.5,,not sure how to do it,or can i just go to 7 when iTs compatible for my HD2

Can you not read in the other topic? 5.2.xxxxx is already 6.5.. It just doesn't flat out say 6.5. Windows 7 won't be available for HD2, but you can check out a custom ROM that will make your phone much more enjoyable. Read up on the instructions first..

I asked the same question long time ago for the HD2 winmo 6.5 section and they closed the thread
i need the same rom
there is no difference between the 7004 and the 7008 ROMs other than Zune won't tell you there's an update on the 7008 ROM.
I'd go with the xbox mod ROM right now, just flash it, put in the activation code, and you're good to go, it's got various fixes on it, the only issue really is multi-touch

it seems you have to wait for the dynamics2.2 if you wont a custom 8862
or install the old dynamics2 and then update it with zune, the root and unlock will remain

So, is Dynamics upgradable using zune? I did not know
i am running dynamics2.0
and get the 8862 upgrade at the first wave, istalled without problems and unlock, hbrews and root access were still there
