No can give you the tutorial, you gotta SEARCH for it. There's a guide by kurotsugi in the general section.

There's a guide for that too in tye ace or mini or some other forum. I've seen it. Just search in the whole of XDA.

Please don't give links to something if you don't know what it is.. or atleast say you don't know about it in post..
The guide won't work.. because its about older devices which uses update-script file.. our device uses updateR-script... so that won't help..
Try kurotsugi guide about edify scripts... it has information

As we have seen that there is lot of bugs in CM9 therefore i m not going for it...
Guys i wanted to ask which of the two CM7 is better..the one made by psychogame or the one by whitexp????

psychogame CM 7 update 5 is better and bug free(mostly).

[HELP] Official ICS or JB for Galaxy Y

Hi,
I wanna ask that can our phone (Samsung Galaxy Y) support ICS or JB. If yes, then i'll make a petition for an official OS upgrade to Samsung.
(Please be kind.....i am new here)

I want it too, but Samsung won't do that because the update will be too large for SGY (the /system partition is only around 300mb).
However @percy_g2 is working on CM10 (JB 4.1.2) for SGY.

there's no official jellybean for galaxy y. as luqman said, the /system partition is too less to install. however you can try another jellybean ROMs such as evo-x4 or creed's rom

JB is not supported on our galaxy y but you can use different kinds of roms if you're rooted i am using Nemesis 2.7 hybris it is a update from jellyblast rom.... it gives me the whole android 4.2.2 feature..... if you are getting low internal storage space because of new system apps partition your sd card...

the android version can be changed to anything. see this thread
also not only jellyblast but you can have jb like look and features in other roms as well, such as evo-x3/x4 and creeds v4 etc.

I just find this rom great for my sgy...

Thank you all.........i've tried custom ROMS.....Nemesis Phoenix and Nemesis Titanium........but my phone became slow and laggy......it even rebooted unnecassarily......(please ignore my spelling and english )

well that's not possible since there's no official ics/jb for sgy.
you may wait until the developers develop cm9, which looks unpractical though

Since your rooted you can set min clock frequency 832mhz to speed up your phone use no frills cpu control app also use cfq as i/o scheduler ...

Devs of grand phone please help us on building cwm for grand quattro GT - I8552. ..
We have build cwm recovery from cwm builder but its of no use..it gives only black screen..
Please someone recompile for us and make ot work...testers are there to test.

My brother has Quattro but he refused to gv his phn to test it.. he is too paranoid... sorry guys..
