I have heard and read about the bootloader mode for HTC phones, which have an unlocked bootloader...
My question:
Is unlocking of bootloader possible in s6102? If yes, how do u acess it?
And if it doesn't exist, Is bootloader only possible if the manufacturer desires so?

Thanks man! My question is the same too. Bought S6102 yesterday & I need info regarding CPU overclocking/undervolting possibilities to improve performance.Any help is really appreciated.

We have recovery ( vol up + power + menu ) and
Download mode - odin ( vol down + power + menu )

Hi all! I bought n7 yesterday and I want to know, does it have the bootloader need to unlock to flash kernels and roms? Am not a newbie into that, I rooted HTC wildfire s, unlocked BL on my neo and neo v, and also on sony xj.
So if it have to unlock yhe BL, can anyone please provide me any link how to do that?

Simple answer, it's yes. And it will delete all of your data, so be sure to back up everything.
1: Download the nexus 7 root toolkit here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1766475
2: Select your model
3: Select unlock bootloader, just follow the instructions on screen
I have been searching for few days how to unlock bootloader but no luck. If any dev/user could help me then i would be very helpful ..
I'm fed up with the custum rom and want to use cwm but bootloader is making the task impossible to do.

Wouldn't that method put knox to 0x1? Or am I mistaken. And couldn't he try using towelroot, depending on the version hes on?
He doesn't have a Verizon phone. He has an international model or at least that is what he listed. Not everyone can go up and down firmwares like we can.
You are right though. He could try towelroot first.

The full instructions here should help. The only difference is that you need the kernel/firmware for your specific s5 version.

Your questions would be safer answered by someone on the Galaxy S5 international forum but I found a couple of things. Use with caution as I don't know anything about your device.
Here is a link on how to upgrade to lollipop if you are interested. Also, this custom recovery (CWM) was in the same link. I believe you might have an unlocked boot loader so you are way better off than we are.

There is no locked boot loader or fastboot mode on galaxy I
Just get a temp recovery and flash whatever you want

Galaxy Y does not have a locked bootloader (that means you don't need to unlock it and forget about it)
It doesn't have a fastboot mode (means you can't use fastboot commands to flash it)
You will need CWM recovery to flash ROM or kernels,

Hi there. You need to flash a custom recovery on your phone which will unlock the bootloader and root it as well. Search in XDA for the custom recovery (CWM or TWRP) for your model and follow the tutorial to install it.

the bootloader comes already unlocked in every note 4 as far as i know, first look up for twrp for your model
