Hi guys, i'm about to change my rom and as i want to speed up my phone and get the AOSP ICS style, these roms are the only one i should get into consideration...
But i'm mostly confused about what to choose, threads are endless and roms are so similar the one to each other...
I would be grateful if some1 could tell me what rom among them is the best, the one with less bugs, fast and with high battery life, and also what kernel to choose to let each rom work better...
In practice i need to know the main differences of CM9, AOKP and JJ, and what of them works better
Thank you
JJ's rom is the best of this roms and it is bugfree, laggfree and it has better performace and battery life !.. AOKP and CM9 is not stable.. trust me JJ's Hibryd gives you the best asop experience !!!!! In the kernel question J can't give you any advise because Jm on Locked BL..
Please hit thanks if j helped you !
Ok, but ill wait for other opinions too
JJ's rom has no bugs. You should try it . Cm 9 has a few bugs but it's also very stable.

+1 for JJ's Hybrid.
JJ's Hybrid it's the best AOSP i've tried, and still use it! Between those you name JJ's the best in battery, speed, bugfree, in all!
If you want a diufferent expenrience you also have Xperia Ice Cream Pureness, very good too!
Try it out yourself and see, JJs is not really AOSP, still Sony so doesn't have theme manager and isn't as smooth as CM9 or AOKP but it has some features e.g HDMI working which aokp/ cm9 dont Personally love AOKP. Customization and fluidity is unmatchable IMO apart from GB

with JJHyb_v3.2
I finally flashed jjhybrid on locked bootloader after restoring apps it is smooth and snappy, as i wanted

The first ROM I tried was JJ´s and without comparision the best in regards to speed and batteri life.
The only reason I´m not using it now is because of Trebuchet launcher. I found it really wanting in features and JJ´s rom didn´t seem to like it when I installed another launcher.

Dafuq dude? do you even know why it is called hybrid? it is aosp, with aosp control panel settings, themes arent native of aosp, it does has the xperia framework, but its a modified framework, jj hybrid rom its not your normal stock ics xperience, it is much much much much smoother than aokp or cm9, ive tried them all, its stable and the battery its good, awesome if you use smartass v2 governor.
jj hybrid, plus apex launcher, plus supercharge 100% and smartass v2 governor, and you will never ever feel lag or lack of battery life.

I tried JB on Blade - it was quite laggy. I'm very happy with the speed of CM9/ICS. Until Project Butter works better and laggy stuff get sorted out, I'll stick with this. Keyboard and clock are the main differences. I use swiftkey flow beta anyways, and for clock, I installed clockpackageholo.apk which gives alarms, stopwatch and timer in the same app, like the JB one.

I think that Poland rom is bit more sharper and faster than french version.. I think that, in poland rom, I didnt have that pinch to zoom lag when zooming in pictures... I think it was more lag free (poland rom)..
What is your opinion/experience?

My French phone seems fast as ever & I'm enjoying finding new features like pop-out browser. That's new ... haven't detected other changes.
both are really fast but I found youtube and pinch to zoom issues on both roms I think its on every 4.1.2 note 2 rom..
For me French version is much faster.
No lag after full wipe.

Thanks for your replies ! I was thinking of reverting to Poland rom to see if pinch to zoom lag is there, but now i see that all of you are saying that it is present in Poland rom also..
And toggles lagg where there are more than 3 notifications hanging.. Thats irritating too...

I love that there's a great selection of ROMs for the Find 5. My problem is that they all run really smooth at first but then start to lag badly after installing apps. I barely modify any of the launcher settings. I've experienced this with every ROM I have flashed. I am using TWRP and always reset to factory settings and wipe the system before installing a ROM and I still experience lag. Am I doing anything wrong or any ideas on what to do to get rid of the lag?
You getting lag on stock also? I haven't noticed any real lag anywhere :-/

On both Official and Beta firmware, I get the same experience. CM 10.1 has been the best for me so far bit it still lags quite a bit. I see people post that some custom ROMs are as smooth as a stock Nexus 4 but I can't get close to that at all with any of them. I have a Nexus 4 and its buttery smooth. I just wish I can get my Find 5 to be as smooth....then I'd be extremely happy.

I've tried CM, AOSPA, PAC and finally SlimBean and combined with TabletUI, Xposed framework and Holo launcher the latter one is what I like most!
Eeehhhh. I use PAC-Man. It's not the most stable thing in the world, with it's occasional fast rebooting. But, I have never seen a ROM with as many customization options as this. Throw your favorite CM theme, and your favorite icon pack for Apex or Nova launcher, maybe play around with the transparency levels and colors on your Navbar and status bar, and then... Then you have a thing of beauty right there. I like it, even though it has it's quirks.
