But seriously, <3me, these sorts of post really do belong in the General discussion forum. Now, if this were a real project underway (as in, in actual development) instead of a wishlist, that's the sort of thing that's good for the development forum.
If everyone starts posting their wishlists in the development forum, this place will get so cluttered (not that this doesn't happen all the time anyways) that it will be difficult to follow the actual projects (custom kernels, distributions, etc).

I for one would like to see this moved to Development because the OP does have some valid ideas. This is pretty much what I would like in a ROM as well so it would be nice to hear some feedback from some actual Devs rather than just someone who feels like bashing the OP (johnsongrantr).
hey guys, im new to this website thanks to a good friend of mine (he doesnt have an xda account but he has knowledge of it). The best advice I can give you is to READ... try the stuff out, if you have issues or questions, like dan330 said, search first cuz more than likely whatever you run into has already been figured out. I've been here a long time so I know what will get you help from the people that know what they are doing.

for me , no doubt its working superfine , swear even i don't have to wait my location whenever i open the map my location pop up .. ... 1st time i used the navigation yesterday and i didn't lose =D ..

If you guys already upgraded your froyo 2.2 to gingerbread 2.3.3 you don't need this gps fix or fix etc. And also try to update your maps. The latest is map 5.4 i think gps fix already to this version. Or 5.3 as well.

as my signature saying that am using gingerbread . so u should know that gps is not fixed on it , sometimes its given me somewhere else near to my home ? my location always far a little of the right location am at .
GPS is Sucks both in froyo and gingerbread .

Its simple from root explorer find the folder needed then browse for framework.apk for example if that is needed long press it then copy and paste it to your sd card then plug usb and you can upload it from there....

If you are trying to use USB Mass Storage to find /system/ its never going to happen. You need Root Explorer on your phone. From there copy the framework.apk from /system/ to your SD Card, then mount and upload your file. Also, there are better ways of asking for help.

If you can't find the required files - you shouldn't be messing with your phone in the first place, and not blaming a GREAT site.

You'd probably not like that experience. It,s about Dark Knight 3/4.
In a few days after the installing this rom all google services stop to synchronize, and even gmail don't recieve any one message. Just dont work, and that is all. Only google contacts still working correctly.
Trying to install other versions of gapps, but it's no effective. That's why I have to re-install ROM every 4 or 5 days, 'cause I cant work when I have this problem.
Probably this ROM I like more than all ICS's. Many thnx to developer!
But this one problem is like a fly in the ointment.
