[Q] changing kernel

Can we change to new custom kernel from stock kernel after installation of jellyblast rom?? As in the requirements it asked for stock kernel. And after installing gave their own kernel.

Yes, you can. But do have Odin as backup, incase something goes wrong.

I believe original is for aosp based ROMs/kernels and other items built from source. The other section is for ROMs and kernels that were created based off the stock system (with tweaks and personal touches added) or ports.

[Q] Problem with installing Hell's kernel and Evo x rom on Merruk Kernel

I want to sorry for my English
I have problem with my galaxy Y.
I installed Merruk's kernel but I want to install Hell's kernel but I can't.
When I try to install Evo rom I can't too.
What I must do to install Evo Rom?

you can use odin first then install hell and evo its faster and safe. just a suggestion but i know there is a better answer will come.haha

Install stock kernel in aroma installer of hells kernel. Choose option 1!

I tryed but It not working. I tryed format everything wiht ext4 in Aroma and then stock kernel and Hells kernel but it didn't work.

Hells kernel doesn't work with merruks. Find another way to flash stock kernel and then flash hells. I reffered to this guide.

WiFi Error

Hi, anyone know how to fix wifi error? my wifi, bluetooth, radio, and hotspot portable can't turned on.

you havent mentioned what rom/kernel you are using
in general
make sure you are using the correct wifi driver for the kernel you are using
stock wifi driver for most kernels
whites wifi driver for whites kernel and hells fusion #50
reflash percys kernel as that has its own driver
if you are using the correct wifi driver for the kernel
goto system/etc
set permission of wifi folder to rwx-rwx-rwx-rwx
open wifi folder
set permission of wpa_supplicant to rwx-rwx-rwx-rwx
all other files in folder should be rw-r-r
if you are using cm9 there are no drivers so nothing will work - change to stock rom or cm7

if you are using stock rom and kernel and you have made no changes you shouldnt have any errors
flash stock rom again via odin if you still have problems
