Use Skype. I'll post a link to the working version for our phone. Do not update from the Play Store.

You could use Tango as well, but more people in the world have Skype. Why shouldn't we update? It's working good for me.

Nexus 7 3g VoIP and use my phones sim

Hello , I've been using the sip/VoIP on my nexus with my phones Sim card ,I'm on grandfathered data plan, just wondering has anyone noticed any issues in billing or other charges for using this? Is there anything else I should know? I have been searching online weather it is illegal or not and cannot come up with anything.

Not sure if it helps but from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2036344, looks like you get charged data rate for sending sms, guessing voip/sip calls would charge data rate as well since only gsm calls with get deducted from your calls quota.
As far as any legal problems, I never heard of any such things, but it pays to check with some1 that knows ur country's local laws just to be on the safe side

hello fellow filipino,
unless you have specific proxies and settings to connect and authenticate to the carrier's servers then you are out of luck getting free internetz

Are you saying that whatever VPN app you use for Tor doesn't work on Omni?

Judging by the nature of the question, I'd say he's just asking if it does, and has not tried it.
You can install the Tor application from the guardian, and yes, it works.
