Help......Play store not installing....... - Optimus One, P500, V Themes and Apps

I backed up it and then uninstalled using titanium backup
And then deleted vending package from data/dalvik cache directory using root explorer...
and now when I install vending.apk version 3.8.16 it says "application not installed"....
But the apk package appears in system/app directory ...
I also tried to restore it using titanium backup but the restoring never ends ( I almost waited for one and half hours)
Please will someone help me .....
I tried many vending.apk files from many online sources (all unofficial)

First reboot your phone then copy vending.apk to/system and set permission to × ×

Try to unmount the sd then download and install, it worked for me when angry birds didn't install.
Package file not signed correctly when I did that

Same problem.
Mines updated... but I just realized none of my downloads are showing up in the market.
I found that edited apks (themed or otherwise) cause updates to not install correctly. Have you tried uninstalling gmail altogether and then reinstalling?
try using rom manager's file permissions fix that helped me with some apps that were failing upgrades. (assuming your rooted of course)
also... try using root explorer, navigate to system/app change to r/w permissions.
delete the gmail.apk, reboot to recovery and wipe dalvik. Reboot and re download from market. Hope this helps

Bootstrap Fails to Install GB Update

I'm running rooted Froyo 2.3.340 on my Droid X. I downloaded the two zip files (from this site: http://www.droid-life.com/2011/05/28/download-official-droidx-gingerbread-4-5-596-for-rooted-users/) as per instructions in method 2...
I wiped my cache using Cache Cleaner....
I opened Bootstraper for Droid 2....I hit "bootstrap recovery..."
I hit "reboot recovery...."
I went to install zip file from sdcard, navigated to zip 1 and went to install...after about 5 seconds, I received this message:
http://i.imgur.com/Y50yw.jpg
I did rename the zip files to make them easier to find...could this be the cause of the problem?
Well I know renaming them isn't the problem because I did the same thing.
It says the failed operation was checking for a specific file. Try reinstalling or uninstalling whatever app that failed. Or if it is a file for a system app, not a data app, let me know what it is (since I can't really read it clearly in the picture) and I will upload it for you to download and replace.

It might have done that since you cleared your cache.
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App
I resolved the issue by renaming the system files (bloatware) I changed to .bak, back to .apk
After this I ran the bootloader and it installed the zipped files no problem.
Yes. The 2-part update to GB needs to be started with stock Froyo, like out was right out of the box.

Launcher malfunction.
Common symptom is that can't open folders.
Solution:you must change permission manager and recreate permission for MiuiHome.apk
Steps:
-replace permission manager with a correct one(see next)
- reboot
-download launcher https://hotfile.com/dl/177431425/89ffe52/MiuiHome.apk.html
- copy MiuiHome.apk from/sdcard to /system/
- give correct file permissions rw-r-r
-move and replace the old one on /system/app/
Reboot
Permission manager will ask MiuiHome.apk permissions.Give full access...

ATTENTION FOR U8800-U8800pro:
SWAPPER 2 or SWAPPER FOR ROOT it is a good alternative for enable swap but be Careful:
Have as default automatic mounting partition mmcblk0p3.IF SOMEONE'S ENABLE IT THE PHONE COULD BE BRICKED PERMANENTLY.
they correct partition is mmcblk1p3.

Installing app to data/app doesn't work nexus 4

Firstly I am referring to this guide:
Barclays-bank-app-running-on-rooted-phones
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2360053
After following instructions on my nexus 4 I have this problem:
I installed the Barclay's app 2 days ago and today I uninstalled it and copied your modified apk to data/app but after copying and restarting my phone the play store auto updated the app.
Now I have barclays-1 and barclays-2 apk in data/app . I've tried deleting my cache and dalvik cache and installing then reuninstalling the official app
I then tried installing the modified apk and restarting but the app won't appear in all apps, please help :/
Also when I try a to install it, my nexus 4 doesn't allow me to press install after reading permissions warnings. (I have google verify apps off and unknown sources on).
Thanks.
