Will not boot up after power button broke - Acer Iconia A500

My power button became unseated from motherboard so I took it to local shop. They put it back and soldered it.
Now the tablet will not turn on. I have tried hard/soft reset. Can't boot into recovery. Basically it is just dead.:crying:
When hooked up to charger the light glows white. I charged it all night and still nothing. Any suggestions?
Anything is appreciated..

[Q] Stock Phone won't boot, blinking red LED.

So my girlfriend got this phone 2 weeks ago. All I did to it was update the software to stock 4.3, then root it. No custom rom/kernel.
Today she had charged her phone to 100% overnight. Then while driving she had it plugged in to the car charger. Her phone randomly shut off. It was not overheating.
When I try to hold the power button for a long time, the LED blinks red. The screen will not turn on.
I have tried plugging it in to the laptop and the wall charger. Holding Vol Down + power doesn't help.
If I have to RMA this device, how can I even unroot it before sending it in if the screen doesn't turn on?

You can RMA.
If it won't boot, then Google won't know if it's rooted or not. They probably won't even bother looking, and they will use the phone for replacement parts anyways. The car charging probably got something burnt inside.
Either RMA it or take it apart and unscrew the battery screws a bit that will probably fix it.
If you planning fixing it yourself let me know then I'll send you a guide.

OPT will only boot into recovery?

I just recieved my OPT in the mail today. I took it out of the box booted it up got up to the "insert sim card" screen and powered it off to charge. Used the supplied charger and cable plugged it in while phone was off, battery showed it was charging including little red led.
Came back to check a little while later, led was green, pressed the power button once to see the battery was fully charged, unplugged the phone.
Held the power button down, one plus logo boot screen comes on, then goes directly to recovery menu. Ive tried wiping cache, data, and format all data, i reboot and boots back into recovery.
Im thinking ill just fastboot the stock rom back on but very weird to have the happen to a brand new phone...
Any ideas?
Thanks!
traced the problem to the volume down key not working or internally messed up to where it thinks i have it pressed down all the time and all it wants to do is boot into recovery. One time i did get it to boot up and tried pressing volume down and it does nothing, volume up works though... RMA ticket has been opened.

S7 Edge crashing issues

Have had the phone for a while now but for some reason recently the phone will randomly shut off. Some times it will immediately start booting back up but more often then not it will just stay black. holding the power button does not turn it back on and some times even holding the power down and the power button doesn't work I just have to wait. I'm not sure whats going on.
The problem is this most recent time it did this and the light was solid blue. after a while a green light started to flash slowly while the blue was still illuminated but the phone would not power on no matter what I tried. I took the back glass off and got to the battery plug and unplugged it (thinking that it was just a hard freeze) now i have no lights and I can't power it on. I don't even get a battery or any lights when I plug the power in.
Has anyone seen anything like this or could give me any other troubleshooting steps I could try to follow? I've put the wireless charger and retainer and screws back in but haven't resealed the back glass in case I have to go back in.
Seems to me like the MMC (memory management controller) chip is dead.
That's a motherboard swap isn't it?
So I opened the phone as disconnected what I think was the screen and some other plug on the bottom left of the mobo maybe the touch synthosizer? I let it sit for about 15 20 mins charging. I plugged all the connectors back in and it booted properly.
Why did that work?
Now that it's up I did a factory reset put apps on one at a time and using Snapchat causes the phone to shut off.

Bricked but not bricked?

So I bricked my phone a little while ago. I was flashing the deodexed and when it rebooted back to the bootloader I got nothing. Doesnt respond to anything. Well I was about to send it in to essential so I was taking the screen protector off and all that when I thought I saw a essential logo burnt into the screen.... Turns out its the Essential boot screen just SUPER light almost like a ghost or burnt image...
I can reset the phone over and over, it never responds to anything, no charge light from plugging it in, never appears as a port on my computer or anything... But I can watch the logo disappear and reappear by holding the power button for 10+ seconds...
Options to try to get to recovery/bootloader?
I have tried every combo of power, power vol+, power vol-, power vol+-, while unplugged, plugged into wall and plugged into laptop.... Tried all options holding for just 10secs and tried each one holding for 2 full min each to make sure I went passed the 45sec reset...
Not sure what else I can do.
Any ideas?

Phone won't power on after removing usbc cable from desktop

Last night I had my phone connected to my computer to charger it per my normal routine before going to bed. I removed the USBC cable and the phone's screen instantly went black. Would not power on with holding the power button, power button and Volume + button together. None of the tricks I knew to try would work.
I laid down for the night and plugged it into the original charger and cable from OP, and the phone vibrated, showed the bootloader unlocked message, then back to black screen, never showed the boot animation. Intrigued, I then was able to get into the fast boot screen, I got excited and thought maybe by some chance there was a software/kernel issue and I could push the image from my desktop. So I unplugged the power cable and as soon as I did the phone instantly powered off.
Now prior to connecting the phone to the computer, the phone was at roughly 35% battery, so there was no way at any point that the battery was dead.
I left the phone connected to the oem charger and cable overnight, and upon waking up today the phone will still not turn on. I tried holding power and volume + for at least a minute and no signs of life.
I'm really at a loss here, I've had the phone less than 3 weeks, it's never been dropped or exposed to water.
I opened up a ticket for repair from OP but now I'm concerned that the phone is rooted and has TWRP, if they'll deny repair, even if it appears to be a hardware issue not software?
Are there any other tricks I can try?
Well as an update, I now know why I've seen many people say OP has horrible customer support. It took longer than it should have, but the repair facility says that replacing the mainboard fixed the problem. And sure enough my phone is charging and working as expected. Already updated, bootloader unlocked, twrp installed and magisk. Life is good. ?
