After months of use, without issue. I turned on my nook a few days ago, to clear my info in preparation for selling it. And it will not boot.
I've tried everything I can remember. Recovering doesn't work, and when I got into the menu, as shown, I cannot choose anything else.
What??????
Ideas? It has been a while since I've messed with this, so I am rusty XD
Screen.

You are probably in a recovery flag bootloop. Go to my tips thread linked in my signature and read about it and learn how to fix it.

Hi
Somehow the misses screwed up the update so its sat here happy with RC8 on it but I can't find out how to get it to attempt to update again. Is it a manual update required? If so where is the image?
Andy
Can't you just do Menu > Settings > About Phone > System updates? Does it say there's anything available there?
It doesn't exist in RC8
Things seem more odd than I at first imagined. Looks like it was not the an error on the misses part. Its asked to update and I selected install, it rebooted and started installing. Then it shows the exclamation in the triangle.
Looking at the log displays this:

Has anyone seen anything like this before?

:facepalm: Shows I only got my G1 last week!
Well I tried another memory card and it still did it. Does anyone know if this is a hardware fault or a bad software release by t-mobile?
I can't pinpoint where this started exactly.
I went from 'starting over' with the 1.47 w/root to eventually Fresh1.0.1 and netarchy 3.7.3c and DolphinHD has been killing my battery, whereas previously I had never seen this from SpareParts:
i cant post images apparently or even links so add i26 and i32 respectively to these pics:

I'm baffled. I'm going to uninstall and reinstall and see if that works, but its been this way for a few days.
uninstall, reboot and reinstall showed the same things. next test will be uninstalling all the addons to dolphin and try again. what a PITA.
still no resolution. im at a loss. anyone want to jump in and save me?
Brett will!

That's weird. I have had this happen to me, but only when using an App called WebKey.
I have had it happen before, but that was on a HTC Hero using one of CM's roms. I ended up just wiping everything and re-flashing. Fixed the issue. So I figured something left by another rom was causing a conflict. So maybe you should try a wipe and re flash.
Good luck
My Nexus 7 has been working fine for several months, but suddenly, the left half screen went negative and was distorted. As in, this half screen had opposite color schemes.
I did a soft reset, hard reset, and turned the device off and on several times. It did, at one point, go back to normal, but not long afterwards, it went back to negative.... very disappointed with this device as it is the first tablet I've ever purchased. I don't know what is going on with this tablet, but it's very odd and have been unable to find anyone else with this problem... if anyone knows a solution to this problem please feel free to answer, please! Thank you!

Hello,
I wondered about this thing, is it some kind of joke or something fishy or just some curious bug?
I never did mess around with the phone, its pretty much in vanilla state ... so how comes the "Windows Update" font looks so strange?
a few days ago I made this photo:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
and now it looks different again:
whats happening here? should I be concerned?
R u on Insider? Dunno what might be happening, try soft reset, and also putting phone language to English only. If that fails, a hard reset might help, but if u have no other issues, I wouldn´t worry.
Oh, yes, I forget, I'm on insider. Since the latest update yesterday the font looks normal again.
Thanks!
