...sorry, but I think- only the jig can solve it to enter samsung bootmode

use this tool
WP7 Update Cab Sender
and press R to recover ur phone then ur phone came back

sorry but it will not works. thebackup (if is present) have a unique ID and those is differen as the ID after flash a new ROM= restore only possible if the backup was from present ROM on device ....

so i've done it with the jig, worked fine. Thanks for the help

ithink it understand my problem
plz quickly solve my problem
Go to download mode (volume down+home+power) and flash any stock rom with repartition checked. your phone should be okey
Remove battery and try again.
Can you get into download mode ??
If so flash a stock rom with pit 512 and repartitioning checked via Odin .
The rom you installed is Alpha that means not ready for Beta full of bugs use only if you know what you are doing .
ROM does not work is what the post says where it says must read .
jje
i do all
i use odin
i remove battery
im not have (software now ,2e recovery and 3button v up+home+power not working to go in recovery mode)
but my sgs when i connect it with pc usb plugin 3sec and restart
If you have any other ROM zip on your SD card then just flash speedmod kernel with odin to get CWM recovery back (see my signature for link)
If you don't have any other rom zip to update with CWM recovery then you will need to flash a stock rom with odin.
i try with odin but useless
if you have program anther odin give me plz
may be try the reset button, which in the middle of the cam and speaker, search in forum for details
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
i'll be crazy with this SGSi9000

Which part of using odin you didnt understand? just go to download (vol DOWN+home+power) mode and flash with pit.

You may be better off paying a service centre to fix as you seem incapable of following instructions .
jje
I tried using the 3buttons (volume up+home+power)it is not responding
I can not inter to recovery mode or download moded
always my sgs restart in 5sec when i run sgs
recovery mode does not respond
I think it's somehow deleted of the device
warning, I didn't try #2 before, but may save you if you don't have JIG
1. JIG

My computer wouldn't (and still doesn't) recognise my phone (sometimes for a few minutes at a time) when I plugged it in.
I thought it would be a great idea to try flashing from to Froyo from Eclair anyway, and while it was going on, my pc disconnected the phone and bricked it COMPLETELY... I pulled the bat, tried all the 3 button combos (they worked before I flashed, I tested to make sure), and nothing worked...
I spent hours looking through the forums and the only advice I saw was to try a jig, before reading that for a 100% bricked phone it would not work...
What to do
- Take of the back case of your SGS, inbetween the camera and the speaker, you will see a little circular hole...
- Take a pin/pen and poke it...
- Hold the hole pressed in and press the 3 button combo for download/recovery mode
It should go into download mode and from there you can flash on a fresh firmware!
I saw NO mention of this hard reset's existence anywhere on the website at all, it worked perfectly for me!

unless you mess with your bootloader (in this case you didn't) you must be able to go into download mode and flash a fresh odin rom with pit 512 and repartition enabled

I think I bricked my phone ...

Hi,
I had Darky v9.5 running and wanted to update to v10 - unfortunately I didnt read the guide completely and started by flashing the new kernel with sgs kernel flasher. As a result the phone hangs in a reboot loop. After the Galaxy S splash screen the phone shows many single pixels with different colors, then reboots.
Is there a chance to rescue this phone or should I look for a new one?
cheers
mathiase
Get it into download mode and flash back to stock through odin.
Just flash some 3-part fw (jpu f.e.) with odin with repatition and pit, and it should be fine.
Hi,
okay but how do I get the phone attached to odin? Usually I put it into download mode, but the vol up + home button does not work.
any suggestions?
cheers
mathiase
Download mode is vol down, not vol up.
Vol up is for recovery
Hope this helps
Download mode is vol down/home/power..... i think your phone will be fine buddy. If you check out darkys v9.2 resurrection edition, follow the guide and then should be up and running in no time.
Tip on 3-button combos; (The way I remember it):
Download mode: Vol DOWN + Home + PWR
I mostly use recovery (CWM) for upgrading my phone: Vol UP + Home + PWR.
Hi, aah I mixed up the two modes - sry. By the way: is there any Linux to I can use instead of Odin? The problem is that I use Linux _only_. I just installed an XP virtual machine in Virtual Box but it seems like the device cannot be passed through to the Windows VM.
cheers

There is the Heimdall project.
It should work. You can find it here on XDA.

Just curious why you are asking a question about a i9505 device here?
Anyway, are you saying it can NOT get into recovery at all? or you can get into recovery and there is no options.

Are you sure you're not talking about download mode? (vol down + home + power)
Recovery mode is vol up + home + power. Release just the power button when the phone vibrates

yes download is fine
in recovery are not any options
You have 2 options, get into some type of recovery, or ODIN back to stock. and that will require some reading to get that up and running...try here first.
You will need to post in your i9505 forum about this issue where to find original stock image, I looked there, but didn't see anything right off the bat.
god luck sir.

I dont now if this help, but only way that works for me to get into recovery, is holding both, vol+ and vol- keys, while presing home, and power button, when the phone vibrates, release power button, but keep holding vol+, vol- and home button for about 2 seconds, then release everything....
phone should boot into recovery now...

yes, I also used this combination of keys to enter the recovery once but now does not work, call a black screen and does not vibrate.
By KDZ also can not do anything because they also do not enter the emergency mode or in "pc suite".
Not even know how to solve this problem: x
And the worst is that I need the smartphone

[Q] Bricked lgp700 after flashing cm 11.0

Hello,
I am very new to rooting etc. I rooted my phone a few days ago, unlocked bootloader and tried to flash cm11.0 with rom manager (cwmg) following this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2521239
Unfortunately I didn´t understand the instructions well, so after wiping caches, instead of doing a full format I did a user data etc format (which i now think was a factory reset). Tried flashing, didn´t succeed.
Anyway, when I try to switch it on I only get the lg logo and then the batery charging thingy When I try to go to recovery mode with volume up power and menu button, my phone goes on a loop of lg and cyanomod logos untill infinity ( Have to take off the battery). Tried to use heimdall (as i have a mac) to flash kdz back to it, but phone was not recognized. On my pc tried the same, but again phone not seen. I can see it on my computer as an unrecognized external usb but cannot explore. Any ideas on what to do??
thanks in advance

As soon as you plug your USB into your phone, hold down the volume up (+) button and the power button and release them after holding them down for about 2 to 3 seconds. Then, install the USB driver for your phone with the LG Mobile Support Tool. Secondly, download and install the LG PC Suite program and last but not least, download the KDZ program. Install the correct firmware for your phone and make sure you select 'EMERGENCY' from the list on the top right of the KDZ program. Select your downloaded firmware file and start the program. If everything worked out, the program should crash after it's done and your phone should reboot. Disconnect your phone from the computer if it doesn't reboot and try to boot it up again.
You can find all of these programs along with tutorials on how they work by searching on either XDA or Google.
did forcing recovery/download work ?

the phone off usb in and buttons did it work ?
Actually didn´t work,I have drivers already, LG PC Suite program , and KDZ. Problem is my phone is not detected by pc, so kdz unzips and then says : phone not detected, with or without battery...doesn´t go into recovery mode with buttons, just lg and cyanomod logos...
I don`t know if this can b fixed.....How can you flash anything if it´s not detected....
I´ll give it a try again tomorrow, without trying to enter recovery mode....but tried lots of buttons combinations and wasn´t working
Press these buttons
volume +

home button

release all buttons except power button when you get a vibration
release the power button immediately after the lg logo has appered
