On Andre Neal's blog, seeing pixels, he has the CM9 Apollo standalone apk, a theme template, and also the black theme, it can be found on the market though, just search for apollo black theme

I have a m3u playlist on my SD-card. I go under playlists, choose my playlist and press the corner-menu button and choose shuffle all. It starts playing. It responds to htc hands-free next-pause-play-revious buttons. So everything seems superb, but suddenly instead the next song I hear my recorded calls. This happens with the original htc Player too. I use latest Android revolution HD on my Sensation XE and the latest Bricked kernel, which supports two-sided call recording and offers a nice Call recorder app. Even if I could hide the call recordings, its still strange and very odd, that it starts playing audio files that are not included in the chosen playlist.

I suggest you do the trick people once thought to be a bug, simply add .nomedia to the folder that has your call recordings and they won't be taken into account.

Oh wow!
When I first tried this I thought "Pssh the old CM9 music is still way better!"
And in a lot of ways it is, but after playing with this for almost an hour I am impressed.
Swiping the bottom bar to the left to reveal pause/next/shuffle/repeat is awesome. Long-pressing the name of the track on the bottom bar brings up the play list it's in as an overlay. Which is awesome.
Swiping in the now playing screen to see the playlist is awesome.
The search functionality is highly improved. So awesome.
It's much faster and uses a lot less RAM.
It does lack some functionality, which I know is coming in future versions.
The now playing screen needs to be improved. Tapping on artist isn't as responsive or a visible as it should be.
I need a scrolling bar in the artist and albums tab.
And letters in the ones that do have it.
There is no landscape mode. Minor complaint.
The white theme is awful. Download the black one.
At this point it's debatable which one I like more. The old CM9 music had a lot more to offer at the price of instability. MIUI's is nice too. I wish they'd make that available to all like MIUI home.
My album are so fuzzy, but the app has a sexy UI imo, I'm glad to have built in DSP capabilities (w/o google music), though I still feel like it lags. I agree with Darkie, MIUI has the best music app, poweramp has amazing control over sound if he could somehow incorporate some things from those it'd be #1. I'd rather use a different set of music control I.e. dspmanager, there's not enough options. 4 stars for being sexy though, and white theme does suck.

There kind of is one, you add a .nomedia file into any folder and it won't scan that folder!

Yeah, .nomedia files seem like the only way to do it at the moment, which is kind of unfortunate. I wish that you could could do the opposite and set up the media scanner to only look in certain folders for music, pictures, videos, etc. I would think that media scanning would be a lot quicker and less annoying that way.

The hacked camera I provided in the second post, can take pictures even when the battery is low and the ability to take pictures with the power button.

Only thing I am having any problem with is the Gallery blackout problem. Still working on that, but it seems to come and go, based on Picasa sync. Turned that off, still working with it.

Yeah. Disabling Picasa sync and a reboot got it going.
Also did a batch TiBu restore with data and it worked great. Will take a day or two to see about battery life and stability but so far this looks like your best rom.

Hey thunder, anyway to raise the default mms size settings? Max is 500k I had to go online to view an mms pic lol I think I've seen sense mms apks go up to 1.2m before

Full blown will be my main project for a while (expect good things) hopefully weekly updates or possibly more frequent, MIUI is secondary (only because of the amount of time it is consuming and the lack of time I am able to commit)

I only see 4 bars, right now I have 3 for signal strength. On a side note I noticed that the alarm clock is missing any chance you could upload a fix?
Other than that ROM is on point at 75% battery, been off the charger for 6hrs, standard email/im usage.

I only see 4 bars, right now I have 3 for signal strength. On a side note I noticed that the alarm clock is missing any chance you could upload a fix?
Other than that ROM is on point at 75% battery, been off the charger for 6hrs, standard email/im usage.

If you go to the current clock app there should be an alarm clock in the bottom left.

Hmmmmm.... I'm pretty sure v2 had a clock app. Possibly Desk Clock?
If not, here's the apk for the AOSP clock app which is what should be in the ROM.

Try installing normally, if that doesn't work, put it in system/app and reboot.
If nothing else works, try a clean install.
It does have the clock. This rom is real smooth. Only thing id like to see are 8 in 1 pull down for settings. Besides that, this is better than aosp. Great work dude.

Thanks! I'll be working on that as soon as I get some time to do so. I have to work out the calendar first though, seeing as that has a blue bar through the top of it

Install Procedure
Wipe errthing and flash the ROM file! No Gapps or anything else to flash! ( there may or maynot be an additional package to fix the Weather Widget) Go to settings>themes and apply the TouchWiz Theme. Reboot phone.
Download Latest Update - GalaxyClone5_v2.0_MaceksMod.zip
If you are experiencing problems with the home screen crashing and causing lag or instability, use this build.prop

Only things that are not working are video recording, netflix and the weather widget issues :good:
Ok so far so good. GPS locks on fast.
-Lock screen wallpaper causes touch wiz home to stop.
- the second level prompt for selecting home screen wallpaper is black text on a dark gray background. In low light it's ok but if in a well lit area is difficult to read.
My thunderbolt is not activated as it is now my backup device so I'm not able to test calls, text, mms at this time. At least until I make a SIM adapter.
It would be nice to have a circular percentage battery but that's just cosmetic. It should be easy enough for me to download a mod.

The lock sceren issue is because it wants to set a wallpaper to the sgs3 lock screen which this rom lacks
If you want circle battery, you can go to settings>under interface hit system>status bar>battery status style> hidden | and use battery widget reborn from play store
I got the circular battery by applying the theme called Vivid. Problem solved!

Yes I am aware and can appreciate that, but I find the sound it does have to be overly annoying and excessively loud. That being said, it's just a secondary phone so I don't care too much, just asking.

Awesome, this rom just...works! The only issue (which is not from the rom but any custom rom) is PlexApp. Aside from that, no random reboots, no slow downs, it is smooth and runs perfectly.

EDIT: Upon closer inspection, the only one of those that works is the GPSTest apk. The rest either wont install or lead to the Play Store, where I'm again told they're not compatible with my device.

Still not working, but I appreciate the suggestion. Might have to switch to CM9 for now.
Also, unrelated to the previous issue, I noticed my XDA app icon keeps disappearing. The app doesn't show up on the home screen or in the app drawer; I have to go through the Play Store to access it.
EDIT: Killing the launcher fixes the missing app problem.
I've always been picky about my weather apps and how the temp icons look in the status bar. So I figured I would share what I've always played with being that it's a free app.
(I also have Holo Blue as well if anyone wants it.)

Yeah. Just the status bar icons have changed. Most weather apps status bar icons are hideous. I originally used the blue icons from Eye In Sky. They are the only ones I've seen that look half way decent.

You would have to find a set of icons to match the clock font and then edit the 120 or so icons yourself to then match the color. As far as higher resolution, these are XDPI which was the highest available within the app they were pulled from. Once XXDPI becomes available in the app I pulled the png's from, then I'll add them. But what you see is what you get basically. If you can find better icons and want to edit them, I'll be more than happy to add them.

Great Job Fuzzy. I have a question for everyone though since I can't seem to find the answer anywhere - does anyone know the refresh interval for this app? It's very difficult to find if at all even possible.

That's a good question. I honestly don't know. It's always right I know that. It refreshes upon opening but written the phone is asleep I'm not sure. 30 minutes is usually the norm.
So after going back and looking, you can see the update time in the notification. So you can let it manually refresh and then see how long it took.

Thanks for creating this mod. I was revisiting weather apps to see which one is best at the moment. I thought yahoo weather was probably the best for me until I saw the purple notification icons. I was just about to uninstall but thought I'd do a quick Google search first... Glad I did!

Think you may have misinterpreted what I meant all I was saying is that this mod has solved the only problem I had with the original app and saying thanks.
I was also mentioning that the app has been updated on the play store, as people may not be aware.
