Tapatalk - Optimus One, P500, V Themes and Apps

Anyone know why my tapatalk says download new version? Kinda a pain since it keeps trying to redirect me to the lid app on the market when beta 6 is offered free. Is rhereea way to stop this?

you will find many sites with latest version for Tapatalk 2.0.2
just go to google http://bit.ly/JQVHgm

That was funny.

I use the old Tapatalk still because 2.0.2 keeps jumping to first unread instead of oldest.

Android 2.2.2,

I was just reading over at the Engadget classic site when I came across an article about Olivetti launching a new device. It stated that it was running Android 2.2.2. I didn't even know it existed. Anyone else?

Firefox and spell checker broken after 4.2 update.

Hi firefox crashes everytime i load it but what really bakes my noodle is the spell checker and word pridiction no longer works. Why do google use its customers as beta testers? Anyone else having problems after updating?

Well you can't ding Google for Firefox problems. Not their product or recommended browser.
Still getting used to the default keyboard. Think I like Swype Beta better. At least I understand their autocorrect.
I can ding them for the update braking there own software. Its not just me thats having problems after the update.

Sorry for digging up an old thread, but I also have issues with spell correction and bad lag when typing since the latest update. Any ideas?

Hi guys,
I've used all the files in the following thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2276722&page=29&nocache=1
Up and running and when I try to use google now, it just crashes. Also same thing happens with voice search (they're the same thing ain't they?)

How to get new Facebook App UI

How to get the new FB UI
first opt out of beta programme..(if you arent a tester ignore this step)
link for beta is here
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/facebook-for-android-beta-testers
then join alpha..
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/facebook-for-android-alpha-testers
after joining..uninstall Facebook app..reboot phone...
now search for facebook app in play store and boom...you will have the latest there
If you still have old ui clear the app from recent apps and start it
did not work for me.
edit: it does indeed work

Did you leave the beta test? And clicked on bit.ly link to become alpha tester?

I've been in both groups for like 2 months. Still no updated UI. Search a bit, the new UI is rolled out server side, from Facebook. There's no way to actually "get" it. You get it when they roll out the update to you...
Worked perfect for me!

I have been an alpha tester for a while now. Just followed instructions again. Left beta. Joined alpha. Uninstall app. Reboot. Install. Still old UI...
Hmm any ideas??

What version are you on. I was on updated to 9.0.0.18. If I closed the app from recent apps and tried to reopen it it would crash. I would have to clear data to get it to work again. All on stock non rooted nexus.

that could explain something... I'm on version 8.0.0.15.24... maybe it's a region thing?

Op @abhi98228 please add this info to the first post :
Try wiping the apps data then re-sign into the app only on the latest alpha version.
Also not everyone will see the new interface due to it being server sided.

Thanks rejoined the alpha group got version .19 and closed the apps and swiped away from recent apps and loaded it back up. Works like its suppose to. Next question how do I get my news feed to be "most recent" instead of "top stories"? I can view most recent by going to the settings Tab then selecting it, but that seems to be a step backwards if you ask me. What happened to the news feed settings?

Got back into the alpha program and updated Facebook. When it 1st loaded it was the old UI closed the app. Swiped away in most recent apps and loaded it back up and I had the new UI.

Yes it does not depend on what app version you have nor what alpha or beta group you are in its just their server that depends on who gets it, my wife is on just the standard play store version and has had then new ui for a month now.
