[Q] Noisy auto focus since 3.2.1 OTA. - Acer Iconia A500

I have just received the OTA update to 3.2.1 for my A501.
I am sure that the rear camera was never as noisy as it is now when focussing..
It's clicking very loudly since the update but was almost silent on 3.2.
Anyone else seeing this?

[Q] High pitch frequency sound with active call and screen active

Since upgrading to the DL30 leak with DL09 baseband I have noticed a consistent high pitch noise that is noticeable when a call is active and when I pull the phone away from my face at which the proximity sensor turns on the screen. The screen being active while making a call seems to be the condition for the noise.
I honestly can't say whether I noticed this or not before flashing DL30 as I never noticed it before DL09 OTA and I didn't have that very long before the leaked 2.2.
Anyone else getting similar feedback noise on DL30 or any previous builds? I'm wondering if this is build related or specific to my hardware.
I've noticed the same thing.. it is related to the screen being on during calls. I've noticed that the proximity sensor is not working as well in DL30 as it was in previous versions... this never happened before I went to DL30. I don't think it's a hardware issue specific to your phone.
Gotta say noticed same thing, any ideas would be amazin
I also have the same problem
Also covered in this thread, though still no solution
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=940945
Its simply one of the few bugs in the DL30 build. Nothing to be done and it really shouldn't be an issue as the screen is off when you put it next to your head. If you are using a headset, just click the side button to shut the screen off.
Sorry for the repost.
At any rate. Updated to EB01 today and still noticing this slightly annoying issue.

[Q] No Luck with In-Call Audio - Mango??

Hi Guys,
I know this is an existing issue but it is definitely something that either everyone has given up on, or has been blessed with a fix post Mango and Samsung firmware updates.
I am still experiencing the issue with the latest Mango and Samsung firmware updates so am slightly annoyed the issue seems unaddressed.
As I have a fresh install of my phone (was previously chevron unlocked) and updated all the way to Mango + Samsung updates, I am still suffering from the following:
- In call audio is just bearable when volume is maxed out
- In call audio sounds broken > When I am in the presence of loud noise like a noisy cafeteria or train station, My phone decides to cut the voice of the person at the other end of my call (it seems like the phone thinks I'm talking so clears the other person from noise...)
If someone has a solid fix for this, can you please provide assistance?
I have brought my phone into Samsung Repairs and they said there is no problems (obviously didn't trouble shoot calls). Having 2G only fixes the audio issue.
Hope to hear from the masses soon!
Cheers
No Luck with in-call Audio too...
Hi...
I am facing the same issue, already updated it with latest KH5, even the samsung driver.... Still no sound in-call...
I notice there's a patent,
1) If restarted the phone, without receiving any calls, I can call out normally, the 3rd party can hear. (sometimes VERY SELDOME 3rd party can't hear, maybe Omnia 7 muted)....
2) Problem arise when the phone receive phone call.... the Silent in-call problem arise... after that, the calls that I made out, also the same, in-call silent problem... (The 3rd party mention he/she can hear me clearly, only that Omnia speaker silent).
3) I too notice that the software will be laggy or hang a bit... as I try to End-call, i took some time, I can too see the call timer freezes...
Any advised from the Masters and Gurus here?
Thank you.

[SOLVED] Razr M call volume resets to max

I've been having an issue with the call volume being very loud even though the volume is set to about 30% on the volume bar. I can lower the volume during the call but it will reset itself back to a high setting for the next call. I found a thread from droidforums where a couple people are reporting the same thing. Apparently its only an issue with the jelly bean update.
Is anyone else is having this issue?

**UPDATE** With the latest Moto update to 4.1.2 the volume resting issue has been fixed.
Nobody else is having this issue?
I'm thinking of downgrading to the stock ICS to see if its really only an issue in the JB update.
Issue solved with latest update to 4.1.2

Note 4 random volume decrease after MM update

Hi,
I have noticed that after I manually updated to MM, the ring volume of my phone goes low randomly. Can any one tell me if there is any solution to this. I have the 6.0.1 version from may. Is there any newer one that might fix the issue, as I am rooted and not getting any update notifications.
