I'm testing now the ICS from paul-xxx, its work really good, good speed, little bugs, but we expect more from paul-xxx, from beta to v02 in just a few weeks
Before saying about these roms, wait until they are final.
For now i think the SEMC one is the best, BUT i think a full working miui 4.0.3 could be such a win for us.

We'r waiting for fully working MIUI, it's look very nice, but it must by more fast and smooth!

I hope Paul will finalize the 4th version of the firmware for 8x. I'd like to see our phone number in one of the new guises =) But I think for the 4th version need a new kernel. The old has already exhausted its reserves.
I cant stay with one rom but cm7-2 is the most i use. Love my phone. LONG LIVE THE X8.
I just flashed semc debrand engine. I also installed cosmic flow live wallpaper and it works. So I will stay with this ROM

Pity, none of these work on stock kernel and I don't understand why many of the great developers here make their rom work on stock. Sorry to say this, because we don't know yet to unlock boot loaders for the phones manufactured later than 11w29

About the CM9: Operation Inferno ROM, it lists Shot of Awesomeness as included in the features but also in the 'download after' section of the first post. So is Shot of Awesomeness on top of the Tiamat kernel the default after flashing the ROM or do you still need to flash the kernel and kernel mod as well?

Question: I know the camera and wifi calling issues are being worked on, but is there any hope of seeing FM radio working with the ICS ROMs (low priority understood)?
Also, on RTFF3.8.5 and InfernoV3, I get very slow rendering of Facebook and sometimes on the browser (both Chrome beta and Dolphin HD), like a haze over the screen that then goes away. On both I was running the V6 Supercharger and KAK. I had set the governor to 'ondemand'. I am currently running FriedIceCream3 with KAK and the governor at 'ondemand' and the rendering issue is gone. Is there some setting that I might be able to change in RTFF (as I love this ROM the best by far!!!)? Thanks again, team Inferno rocks.

I posted the shot and kernel as optional the Rom itself uses cyanogens kernel the option I made available was if u wanted to try a different kernel Tiamat would be one to try out or elginsk8rs kernel are both very good.. The purpose of posting the shot on the thread was if u flashed a different kernel u would have to re flash the shot.

Thanks. Just so I'm clear, the CM9 Operation Inferno ROM uses the upstream CM kernel by default and any other kernel (such as Tiamat and SoA or elginsk8r's) has to be downloaded and flashed afterwards. Right?

Yes it uses CM by default u can switch kernel after boot or after flash doesn't make a difference

The update for Rootie that I'm pushing out today hopefully my WiFi kicks in so I can update it will fix those issues and will look into the the radio if its fixable ill include it if not then I will keep u posted on it as far as camera it will include a working camera and camcorder its not full but does the job temporarily.

Thanks! Questions wrt the camera /camcorder - Flash working? Will it have better/same video resolution than A-Cam from Collective (only 480p)? I ask as A-Cam has been a great alternative addon to Inferno ROMs while your dev team has been cranking on the issue.

Yeah dude you didn't even list Workshed in the credits. We don't need more drama in this forum, I'm pretty sure one of the reasons our forums are so empty isn't just because of no update and leaks, but because thunderbolt users have been showing a lack of respect for what devs have done for us already.

I've never use OmniROM before so I couldn't tell.
But from what I've read yeah it is cool.
I voted for PA, but of course I've got no problem if OmniRom get selected

Omnirom will come maybe after a month. Uberlaggydarwin said he would like to get CM 11 done first and he has a few other devices too.
As for Omni, I tried building it with the help of +Brin and other members of OmniRom, though the build was done, the device refuses to start the boot process after flashing it. I had to flash stock with Flashtool to get it working again. So I guess we need to wait a little for Omni.

I'm a member of Omni team and will port it to SP. I just need some time to get a new PC
OK I added a new poll, sorry about that! But now you can choose more than 1 option.
I chose 3, Omni because of curiosity, Ported Sense 5 due to different visual and Vanir Rom beautiful visual. Today I'm in love with Rom Dirty Unicorns
d like to see (Omni) and (Vanir) on our devices, but I think it is better to wait to launch Cm11 to build from it.
