I can't found in the forum.. please .. anybody can answer me?
Never tried it, but all i know is that the Lite versions of Roms are the same but they didn't put all the applications they put in the full ROM.
Lite versions are lighter and sometimes smoother but not sure and you don't have all applications.
It's like the barebones of CM.

Hello everyone. I have some questions about the different Kernels and ROMs running around. All the information is completely scattered throughout the forums, and it became almost impossible to get proper info.
I like to be sure about what I'm doing, and currently, I haven't been able to do much.
FYI, I have searched a lot on the forums, and everytime I find a pertinent info, the discussion mixes up discussions about different roms and kernels, or just assumes I know stuff I do not.
My first question is: How can I get know what is the CG version of a Kernel? Right now I'm running CM 7.2, under Froyo Kernel (used the stock one), and I want to be able to reverse everything I do.
Second question: I know there are lots of different CM versions out there, from Quarx, Epsylon, etc... what are their repositories, and what kernels do they use?
Thank you in advance.
Read this :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1216982
All the custom rom: CM7, MS2ginger,MIUI... Use froyo kernel
If you want flash GB SBF, use only Nandroid and fixed SBF... Never flash full GB SBF
I have read it, that's what taught me about CG versions, However many ROMs requests a specific kernel, such as CM7 Kernel, Defy+ Kernel, and so on... not sure if I understood if right, but isn't changing the kernel what can change the CG version?
So because of that, I have not messed with anything that requires a different kernel, I have no idea on how to be sure of the CG version of anything
More infos there :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=966537
All CM7 have CG = 4, CM7/CM9 Defy+ are only for Defy+ user and don't have kernel inside and use the original GB kernel CG = 5 or 6...
Thank you! The first few lines of the link already showed me how to find the CG version, exactly what I wanted!
if i knew, i wouldnt flash a full GB SBF.
now that i did it, what can i do?

currently not much I believe. eppsylon3 also got stuck - not able to downgrade again.
perhaps we just have to wait until our devs break the damn bootloader
so we are stuck in this, right?
please devs, HELP US
btw, it stays in motorola logo, a blue led shows, then a green led, then it disappears.
what can I do to make it work again?
Hi guys,
Does anyone still have this version of miui by Will5 on his hard drive? I can't download it from will5 thread.
It would be much appreciated.
Cheers
I know it doesn't help your problem much, but have you tried CM10.2 yet? It is such a better ROM in every way than any other I've used on my trusty MS2, Will5's MIUI included.
Thanks, but I actually use cm10.1 by Tezet. It's the most stable and smooth (after some optimizations such as disabling a lot of apps in hwa acceleration) for me. Everytime I try cm10.2 from czeshop or englemars I meet some problems like with bluetooth ad2p, some reboots or hangs... they are not enough finalized IMHO. Now I put all my hopes in kitkat
Anyway, going back to topic, I wanted to find this version of MIUI for my other MM2 to check the difference of performance between this good old miui that I really enjoyed back then and CM10.1. But I am afraid that no one hes this version of MIUI on their hard drive anymore
I finally manage to found that latest version of GB MIUI and it's such a pleasure to find it back. It's so much faster than any of the other roms I have tried. I've been on tezet's CM10 for almost a year, but going back to this miui rom makes my phone ultrasnappy! I forgot that pressing the phone button could make the dialer appear in less than 3 seconds... same for SMS and almost everything in the phone!! You click, it appears, period. No waiting time.
I'll still follow the evolution of KitKat, but even kitkat (I've only tried Engle-Mars one) is not as fast and quick responding as this good old MIUI for the moment. I hope dev will manage to optimize them to that level of snappiness!
I would recommend using KitKat. For me it turned out a lot faster than the CM10.x versions :good:
I don't know about the Engle-Mars Version, but the one of Czechop still reboots on me once a day. Featurewise they are both already on par with Tezets last Rom(but faster).
Hi there!, i read a lot of post about u8800 custom rom, (and ofc the index) but there is my question..
1. Fine i have a lot of Custom Roms, and i see at least 4 that i can use (and recomended in the index) i wanna use Ice Cream Sandwich version (this is one of those): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2135266&referrerid=3996356
but i read on many post that i need a pre-requisite to install those roms like X.x.x version. (or someone recommend one better?)
2. what kind of stuff i need to make that Rom change right? ofc i know i need drivers, unlock bootloader, Clockwork Mod, and the ROM, but there is any other thing i should know?.
Phone Specs: Huawei Ideos U8800-51, Android Version: 2.2.2. and have default Android System.
i want to install a better android version, uninstall those useless apps that came by default with the phone, and get the same speed or faster than before install custom ROM.
Thanks for Read.
well since there is not response. i made a bump.
Is there any MIUI rom for this phone? Is possible to port this rom for Huawei p9 Lite? I appreciated if someone port this amazing rom for our phone. Sorry for my bad English.
Thank you so much.
No. There is no MIUI port.
Porting CM was already hard so I doubt anybody will do this (I mean on XDA) since there are not a lot of people into MIUI.
For ROMs like CM there is a high demand because it brings a more stock-like feeling. MIUI is very "special" and the style of MIUI is pretty similar to EMUI.
Looking back at previous phones that I owned, sometimes there are MIUI ports but they are often developed in Asian forums.
Thank you for your reply I know that miui is pretty similar to EMUI, but i try this ROM and I like it... I will hope that someone port this ROM
Hello,
i know i should just use the search button and in fact i did it before posting, but i still find many different opinions.
I'm searching for a rom to put on my Huawei p8 lite ale-l21, and i'm really confused about what to flash.
I don't know what's better if a based-stock rom or an unofficial custom ROM..
Can u tip me ?
If you tip me, can u give a link on the forum of the best rom i can put in?
Thanks a lot for the patience.

For me the best custom rom is OmniRom 6.0.1. Good perfomance and good battery life. I don't know in Nougat, I like nougat but the battery is of all roms is not good.
( If you want pass the safety net, use magisk )
Is a very popular rom, search OmniRom p8 lite and try it.
