I'm getting bored of my gingerbread Rom and want to download a custom ics Rom. But which one should I use for everyday use ?

Try them and find out. There is no need to create a thread for this.
Answers to "which is better" type questions are very subjective and varies hugely from user to user.

As for the best ROM, you have to decide whether you want HTC's Sense Interface or not.
If Yes - WildPuzzle 2.2.1 v0.5, Sunnabh v1.1, and others
If No - Cyanogenmod 6.1, Openfire v2.3 and others
cyanogen is good? I hear alot of it in lowyat forum
Cyanogenmod
I am impressed with Cyanogenmod; it is more ligth than the sence ROM's which i value high.
Have you read about the differences between the ROM's? In the thread with the overview of available ROM's there is a link that gives you a brief overview of the differences between the popular ROM's. It was the thread that made me decide to start out with Cyanogenmod (I had stock before).
i would certainly love to see that thread if you will
Hey guys Im new to the atrix 4g and was wondering what the best ICS rom is for the atrix 4g is in terms of stability and speed. Also, any kernel recommendations? Do I just install via CWM?
As anyone will tell you, it's mostly opinion for what's best. Apart from turl and jokersax's ROMs, they're all highly customizable, and in my experience they are all stable enough for a daily ROM.
They can all be installed from CWM, but you need to clear the /data, /system and /cache partitions when you upgrade from Gingerbread. You'd be best getting jokersax's Kitchen Sink installer, since it has several ROMs in one file. From that, you can switch between them easily and see what you prefer.
AOKPCB + faux's kernel...

jokers ics is really nice, but I like the ics MIUI rom, very nice UI and feels a lot more customisable in general. its also based on jokers ics but I think its outdated! video camera also doesn't work but you can download an app for it
This is purely subjective. I suggest you read the individual rom threads in the dev section, and/or try different roms out or yourself to see what fits your particular needs the best. Also, there are multiple threads on this subject already.
That being said... thread closed.

"Best ROM" threads are prohibited on XDA and this thread is in the same general category. Your best bet is to read ROM descriptions and then other user's experiences running those ROMs, and of course the best way to decide is to try for yourself. Thread closed.
i am new to android,i have rooted my phone, want to try custom ROM.

Because of the controversy and arguments they inevitably generate, "best ROM" threads are prohibited on XDA. The best way to determine which ROM is for you is by reading the ROM descriptions, user comments, and by trying a few for yourself. Thread closed.
Hey
My ICS ROM is kiling me as it is slow, unstable, etc. Even supercharger isnt doing anything I want to completely wipe it and go back to GB. Ive read things about Elite but it needs its own kernel and Im not really intrested as I dont have time for this.
I want stable over speed.
Thank you.
as with most roms elitemod comes with its own kernel, as in when you flash the rom you are flashing the kernel at the same time.
careful about asking for best roms if you don't want your thread delted, but elitemod is easily one of the beter 2.3.x roms for the vision
