stream on froyo

Hey guys could you plaese help me to port the stream dump to the new froyo rom? Was trying to build a rom with the froyo and the. Dump files but i get a boot loop some ideas? How to build a working rom i think the acer ui will run much better on froyo than on eclair...so plaese help me i think thid could ger a realy cool rom greets fisch5

What do you mean ?
Stream is a rom, Froyo is too, so they have same incompatibles libs (like 3D, 3G, or whatever else)
You can't have both at the same time

didnt thought of this ... but there is no ability to combine the two roms? to get the stream on froyo?

Yeah but Stream does have some nice features like Dolby Mobile, great camera/camcorder apps. I can understand him wanting that on FroYo. But yeah does not look likely.

To combine two roms you must say "I take camera from this ROM, I take flash player from that one" etc.
You can't just say "I want both at the same time"

Liquid Community is a hybrid Acer Stream / Liquid ROM. You can select which one you want.
Not Froyo, but it has the cool stuff.

the 720p HD record mode is not appear, i can only record em Wide VGA 854x480,
I did something wrong?

cm7/miui doesnt support 720p recording, and probably will never do.

only the MS2Ginger-RC2 support?

Yes, only roms based on motorola stock rom will record on 720p.
I think there are 2 or 3. Ms2ginger, blurless...
And of course, all the stock roms (2.2.2 and all the GB leaks)

I'm new with modded roms but ...
Why is hard to implement 720p in CM/MIUI rooms?
Gingerbred is a modded room but 720p (and ALT LOCK) works very well.

I would also wanna learn why...

Gingerbread based roms, are modded or tuned roms. They use stock Motorola roms with fixes/add ons.
Miui and cm7 are custom roms. They dont use Motorola libraries.
To make 720p works, you need to adapt moto libraries to custom roms. That is not easy and wont happen anytime soon.

I present to you my First Rom for our beloved galaxy ace.
This Rom is based on The sgsll Rom by Rushabh25 ( i took his permissions of course].
I call it The AashROM 2.3.
MAIN FEATURES:-
Nexus S launcher
MIUI Music as default music player
Cm7 Messaging app for more speed
WP7 keyboard
Google Gears bootanimation
6 live wallpapers included from nexus S
MIUI Camera
MIUI Gallery for better browsing through photos
Battery life was quite good. It lasted for almost 2 full days on quite a bit of usage .
Speed is awesome. I got 1526 score on quadrant standard which is quite good on a stock rom. This is the point ( according to me) where cm7 spped and stock rom battery life meet!!!

Sometimes video app Force closes.

HOW TO INSTALL:-
Since I'm at Home The Zip isn't a flashable Zip But a Clockworkmod backup extract the zip and put the extracted folder SD card/ClockWorkMod/backup/ then Reboot to Recovey(ClockWorkMod 4/5 Is neccessary)and restore it as a nandroid backup.FOR ALL THOSE WHO ARE GETTING MD5 mismatch- REname the backup to "AashRom_2.3_backup" instead of "Aashrom 2.3 ". Then it will surely work

everything looks cool... It looks like mixture of MIUI, NEXUS everything... Screenshots should have been thr else ppl think its just another themed ROM... And u told CMW 4 cant we flash using CWM 5?
1526 is equal to CM 7 speed?? Quadrant score of CM crosses 2k.. more than that wen OC'd,..

clockworkmod 4 will also do. read the |OP|. well at least i got 1526 when i installed cm7.1 at 800 mhz. Even then , 1526 is quite gogod as compared to other stock. next time i did quadrant score, i got 1439.

Ya sorry i was seeing another ROM... CWM 4/5.. I dont believe on quadrant scores who knows whether they r perfect.. sometimes shows my fone faster than desire .. CyanogenMod feels faster.. I left the stock ROMs long back.. The features of CM are mind blowing.. Dint see much change in my battery stats between CM and stock...

Well thats ur choice. but stock roms certainly have a better battery life.

The place I work has totally 6 ace's.. I m the only one running CM all other's hav pure stock.. I just tested my friend ace fully charged then played game.. browsed edge net so result was it lasted for 7 hrs .. so I decided to stick to CM.. stock is good...

600 downloads in 11 hrs.!!!!

Hello mate,
I am sorry to say that this rom is completely sgsII rom with very few modifications...i dont think you should present a whole new rom with very few features which you have added yourself....so there is no point presenting a new rom which is actually ALMOST completely same as the base rom!
I hope you are not doing this for thanks meter of yours
Try to add some more REAL features !!

This rom has few major weakness but i manage to overcome it with tweak and software.

2.No keyboard-install better keyboard(open zip files and install both apks)
3.USSD code wont work with default dialer-install and dial with fast_dialer_3.2.8mobihand.apk(if u feel annoying with reg pls help this guy & buy a full version)
4.Only have 2 lang(Eng & Chinese)i dont mind cause i always use English.

Yeah man...give it a try & pls post any comment in here.if anybody have better menthod to improve this rom,u are welcoming to share it.Im not sure if everything is working.As i know all basic fet. is working fine(call,msg,bt,wifi,games,camera&music).For me,i satisfy with it because it has difference UI from other CM7 roms.Im gonna stick with it until Paul xxx release full working version of CM9.(nobody will say no to ICS)

I don't know, Why some peoples are unliking the rom,
I found it really nice.
I had attached Antutu Benchmark screenshot.
You can see , its a great score without memory card score.
This rom is great in my views because it have a good UI with good performance.
It already stated that it has Poor 3D score.
I flashed Adreno library for ALFS ICS kernel.

LOL didnt' know someone will post this rom here man i think u need permission from original thread (there is a link on xperiax8.com.pl) Bcoz xda is dev site unlike xperiax8. I mean xperiax8 is site where u can find everything to our x8 i was just posting a rom there to get to know others from my country About keyboard etc. i just simply took one from GDX and its working
P.S. Thsi rom should be working with all kernels (im using Stock kernel and its pretty fast)

720p recording on cm9 or cm10

I have a red lense defy with rooted defy+ sbf . Will my phone be able to capture 720p videos with cm9 or cm10 ? (i've searched the forums and no one really answered this question )

No. Only stock roms or modified stock roms can record 720p. For further questions, ask in the Defy General section.

Exactly Questions never ever go in the dev section no matter what..... That's why there is a general and Q&A section.

I dont get it, why cant we do 720P recording on CM9/CM10 with GB Kernel. just merge the mod for stock roms into the JB or ICS Rom and make it compatible and it will work
