Problem with P6800 caller ID - Galaxy Tab 7.7 General

Hello everyone
I bought the Galaxy TAB 7.7
And because I always travel, I record my phone numbers in the International format +xxxxxxxxxxx
but when I receive a call from a local caller the phone shows the number as I don't have it in my contacts.
even I made restore factory settings but nothing changed
My device firmware ver. P6800xxkl2
My device is rooted but this issue appeared before and after rooting.
Does anyone have the solution or know how to send a bug report to Samsung?

phonebook problem

Hello to all,
I write because success is a major problem.
This morning I updated my samsung galaxy s4 to the new version 4.3.
since then when I receive a call the phone no longer associates incoming numbers with those stored in memory!
I, for reasons of convenience I have set all the numbers in my memory with the international prefix +39, +41, +44 etc.etc
now all incoming calls obviously did not include this code and have not been recognized by the phone that showed me just the phone number ..
how can you fix this problem?
thanks in advance

Phone showing WRONG phone number in device status and in kies

Hi, i recently portde my old number when i moved from t-mobile to three uk, and although it's worked fine, i.e. if i call my number which was originally on t-mobile), my phone rings. and if i call out, people see the correct number. text messages and the like also work fine. but in the settings menu, under device status, it shows the unused three uk number that was the original number of the sim i'm now using. also this unused number is diplayed in kies. is there any way to fix this so that it shows my actual number again?
I have the same issue.

In settings,,,,security,,,,there is an option "sim change alert"
If this was set with a sim it will send a text every time the phone is restarted with a different sim.

I lose Rs1.2 every time I press reboot. I use iBall Andi 4Di plus with android. Rs 1.2 is my sms charge on BSNL sim. Every time I press reboot, the phone reboots and after a minute of rebooting, I get a message from bsnl saying last call cost was Rs 1.2 and my total remaining balance. I've lost about Rs 20 so far (which is not a big amount). But, what concerns me more is the audacious sms sending by phone. Somebody help

I think certain India test/STOCK ROMs in the past (I have seen that problem on a i9300 ROM like one year ago) send after (first?) reboot a SMS to an office of Samsung India - something which I believe is deeply stupid - so you might want to give them a call. And let people know more if you learn something new on that matter from Samsung India.

It's due to some bloatware on your phone.
To find which one cause the issue, install App Ops Starter, switch to Messaging tab and you will see which app send an SMS
change csc code
This is not a bug...it's some kind of checking by samsung in indian firmwares..this is very annoying and i faced this in my samsung galaxy y duos...to disable this, you just need to change the csc codes from india to some other countries. type *272*your imei number# and select anything except INU and INS and click install...your phone will reboot...please note that this will factory reset the phone...so backup the data...from now on, no auto sms and balance deduction...
note: i'm not sure that the above said code will work on note...if it's not working, search "how to change csc code" in google...you will find other methods to do it...the above said procedure applies to all samsung devices....
hello,
it is some app you have installed to the ROM after rooting your device like an anti-theft software. its main function is set as" everytime you reboot the device, your phone sends as sms to a predefined mobile number".
solution: you have t flash a new ROM or the stock ROM again. the current ROM you are having right now is already infected with it. Either you install Titanium Back up and then check out one by one what that suspicious app might be and delete or you are to get a stock ROM for your device and flash it. Simple formating by CWM would not help as it will delete only the apps which you have installed and not the ones in your root.
hope this helps.
it's the firmware, not apps..

you are wrong...this is not caused by apps or virus infection...it's the stock indian firmware...samsung is registering the device by sending sms...u just need to change to another country...no need to flash another rom...read my above post...

IMEI:unknown

hi Devs, im from Philippines and my phone is from Canada.. My phone is at&t sgh-i337. I went to cellphone shop to unlock my phone and it was successful. My problem is when i go to settings>about phone>status, in the IMEI:UNKNOWN and IMEISV is 12. when i manually press the dialler *#06# it appears IMEI: 12/.. Is it normal? thank you for the anwsers..
No it is not normal. It sounds like they messed up your efs in the process of unlocking it.
It will probably work fine since your wireless service provider is not blocking the generic IMEI

-I Can receive text and calls. but the unknown thing makes me annoyed.. Is my s4 will get bricked if i will not fix the imei sir?
It won't be bricked.
If you move to another wireless carrier that chooses to block that generic IMEI then you will not have service until you get it repaired.

Verizon S5 with AT&T SIM

This is my first android so please excuse the lack of experience with it.
I am using a Verizon Galaxy S5 with an AT&T sim in it. I got data to work after entering the AT&T APN settings and everything else is working except for incoming phone calls caller id format. Incoming calls are showing up as +-xxx-xxxx Example: +714-555-1212
If that call is from someone in my contact list it will not be identified. If I call back that number it will fail as it is assumed to be an invalid international number
I called AT&T support but they refused to help me stating that I am at fault for not using an AT&T device.
I have rooted the device using towel root and removed all Veirzon blotware.
I also installed PreFixer and it works sometime but I prefer to find a permanent solution if possible.
Question: is it possible to convert my Verizon S5 into an AT&T one by flashing it and installing an AT&T image? or will that brick my device?
Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
I appreciate your replies.
