Anyone else that will bye this phone??

I really like the X10 ^^
but I think I'll pass it.
I'm good with my X1 & my other phone

its so strange , i know that the x10 has 4 inches display , which is 0.2 inches bigger than the htc touch hd , but it seems to me when i see the x10 on pictures that the display is too small , i dont know why lol , and the black one looks looks bigger than the white one (display)... and id like to buy the white one , cause i just had black phones

well i would like to know... reffering to Romdev, if u think its gonna b possible 2 flash it with wm en 1 of the niice ROMS in here?

I'm from Vietnam, never heard about X10 price in Vietnam.

Congrats mate, ive read alot about the x10 and i will not buy it cuz:
Overpriced
android 1.6
and on the videos it seemed to lag alot :S, for 800 bucks it should be neat and fast and finaly alot of speculations are made at Iphone 4g/fourth generation that will if lucky have two options either with hw keyboard or without (i dont belive it will have a keyboard), but anyways with a 5mp camera on twice the speed if 3gs, twice stronger battery on the 4g it would certanly be a catch since im getting it for free (brother lost bet )

all those videos were of pre production units without finished software.. so duh it's not gonna be fast and neat. and if you've been watching the newer vids *from japan* it's gained a lot of speed.

u should really save your iphone braggin for a forum that cares about it..

x10 - not yet
i have Motorola Milestone and HTC Hero and X1 to play with and test all roms. X10 will come with Donut 1.6 and considering whats on offer right now isn't worth the money. the hype on this phone is dying daily and SE needs to pull something out of the hat to resurrect it. not due till April on Vodafone UK and by then next gen Iphone will be making its way out. This phone will be drowned by whats available now and at the time of release. its a lovely looking phone but thats not enough anymore. Acer Liquid is so nice looking but so crap its unreal. i'd hold off for a few months after release see if SE plan any software updates for this thing

Har den redan, jag hade lagt pengarna på något annat, alldeles för seg.
För samma pengar får du en bra android, eller iphone.
Tyvärr så säger jag emot min arbetsgivare nu, men SE ligger långt efter idag.

Hey guys.. i loved to buy x10 very soon... may b this week ..!!
I jus wanted to know how the battery life do this phone have....! In sum websits i saw that this X10 only holds 4h of talktime..? Is that true... in ma optimus one lg **** phon i can get 7h talktime..
Pls can u guys giv me the battery usage history of your X10.

I had trouble getting through a day to be honest, usually around mid day I had to recharge.
I'm a heavy user though so it would really boil down to your usage.

the talk time is ok. i've never talked on the phone for that long on before i recharge it, but for me, it can last more than 1 day with 3G data on and sync on and moderate use (some talk some text)
if u switch to 2G without data it can probably last a week

I laughed at the quote you did and to be 100% honest here are my results 3g on sync off gps off market data off brightness to max 30-40 texts 1-2 phone calls and like 2 hours of music i get home whit 27% same setup no 3g i get home whit 42% and i am like 7 hours at school as scooby said depends on your usage ;p

Depending upon the rom you are running and if you don't allow background data to run. I use Wolfbreak 2.3.3 mod and the app APNdroid to control data, and I get 48 hours on medium usage.

I saw your post on the Team ROM and that's been the only rom i've used since V1. Since the kernel for that rom was introduced i noticed the battery lasts longer. I can easily get a days use from mine on the second brightness on power widget with moderate use.

Lol! Another P500 user wanna change to X10? Well I'm the same kind of user with u too!
My first feeling with x10, noticeably faster than our old P500, based on stock setting, superb camera, flash support and many more. The only down site i dont like on x10 is the buggy dual touch, and the ram amount. Other than that, it is superior to P500, in every way.

Depends on the price you're getting it for.
I wouldn't pay more than $150 for it, and by that I mean not under contract.
Otherwise you can definitely find a superior phone for the same amount.
If you're set on se, the xperia mini pro is cheap.
Go for a phone with next gen snapdragon (adreno 205 gpu, not 200 like the x10) , you're going to have it a while so might as well get one that you'll enjoy.

hell no.its CPU is only 600mhz and so ****ty overall with old aderno200.xperia mini beats the crap out of it with 1GH CPU and Aderno 205 and better screen and better camera plus HD recording
PS:Get Neo if you can.i dont know about indian prices but neo is cheap here.the resolution will come in handy in HD games and etc.plus there is a high chance you are going to get Icecream sandwich

Arc s is a scam, it is the exact same phone, just pre overclocked...
The build quality of arc is sketchy too, I'd get something built to last personally.
The ray has the same resolution as the x10! The screen might be smaller but the quality would be amazing.

Ya, but it is for sure that ARC S is 2011 line and ARC is 2010 if I'm not wrong

What's the price of the G3?

I am thinking about selling the galaxy 3 and I was wondering how much money I could get for it? It's untouched, unlocked and with a new battery, and I would install the stock froyo on it. In euros would be easier for me.

Just check on ebay but i think it's pretty worthless. Maybe £25 if you're really lucky so i think you should just keep it and wait for JB

In it's last days the g3 was priced at Rs.9,000 (~150-160$) Now it would be absolutely worthless and I doubt there would be any customer to buy it. I am using it as an autofocus webcam nowadays

I got mine for £80 one year and 2-3 months ago and thats equivalent to €100 (i think). The price has decreased by a LOT because the hardware is outdated and android phones are improving and being released so quickly. Also, it's not oficially sold anymore.

I saw the 3.4 kernel thread.. its written there, three devs have uart. Marcellusbe does not have uart setup. Only his name is mentioned.

Yes, he has an uart setup.

It's not worthless! I mean, you can do anything with it. Hardware is outdated, but for me that only counts if you want to play HD games or record HQ video.
Perfect phone, GPS navigation, everyday camera, email client, mp3 player, social media stuff, etc. Kudos
As for the price, german Amazon's got it for 190€, a good used one on ebay is 50€ or so. Seems pretty much if I compare to other numbers here...

Well, if somebody still lives in Mumbai, India, this phone is available in R City Mall Croma for some 8~9,000.

I live in England but I've been India twice so i'm familiar with the currency conversion and i have to say, whoever is selling that is ripping you off so badly! I got mine 1 year and 2 months ago for less than that! And i got it brand new from a respected retailer that works all over the UK

Sounds like my 87 year old Granddad who thought colour TV was pointless until I gave him one in 2003 and wired it up while he was out and I said he could have it back if after a month he still wants his old TV back, and now he regularly plays on Wii with his Great Grandkids.

When you have them on it's a completely different experience. The 3D and VR material available out of the box is impressive and of high quality in my opinion.
For a mere Eur 100 it's worth it to unlock the full potential of your device [emoji6]

I got a free one when I got my Carol Blue phone over Black Friday. It was nice to experience VR. For the price, it's worth it. I mostly enjoy watching short 360 videos and pictures to "visit" the world.
I think VR still in its infancy, while the experience is good, it still has a long way to go.
I am a busy professional so don't use it much. As I said, i got it as part of the phone promotion and use it occasionally.

I went ahead and ordered it I'll let you know tomorrow when I receive it

It currently kicks playstation VR's ass with regard to video quality and access to apps/media. Cant increase video quality on ps4vr, ps4vr cant run youtube 360 videos or any other 360 videos not officially from sony. Gear VR is a helluva deal, other than gaming, I'm utterly dissappinted in the software video capabilities of the currently jailed ps4VR headset. PS4VR also cant load any stuff not in the playstation ecosystem like all the cool stuff on cardboard/out there on the net. #sony #VR #playstation #bummed
