That's awesome! Think you can provide a non-barcode market link? I'll give it a shot!
EDIT:
Found it by searching on the market for SU Checker. Works properly on EVO 3D. Nice job!
Here is the market link for those who can't be bothered to find a barcode scanner
Also, feature suggestion: I see myself using this app to double check my girlfriends phone after rooting. Why not include a root attempt cleaner that deletes the SU binary and related files so you can try to root it again more easily? Might not be a great feature and might not be possible due to different phones leaving different files different places depending on the root method, etc. I dunno, but either way, awesome job, and thanks for making it free!
Yeah of course, he're you go:

Thank you for the test / feedback. I've some features on my todo-list, but I'll think about your feature suggestion as it could probably be a nice thing to have.
The Best
One of the best apps created, logically helpful. Thanks man.
Not compatible with Razr XT910 ??
How long it takes to detect SU binary and force close on Razr XT910.
Any idea what's the problem ?

Credit to MatDrOiD for uploading it (I presume) or at least making us aware of it!
Just in case anyone is short on what to do. I went into Manage Application, uninstalled "Market" (just 'Market', not Market Updater or anything else) and then installed this from my SD card using Astro, though I'm sure any File Explorer with an app explorer feature will work ok too. Maybe you can just install the .apk without uninstalling the old version, if someone can clarify that for me I'll change these details.
Looks great!

New market
better late than never, buddy but beta version is up since a week and running on my Desire properly ... just as you said, erase the old one 2.3.6 and install the new market apk previously placed into your sd.
dont forget to reboot after the installation, if you wanna go back to the old one like me waiting for a final release, just erase the updates through the menu settings \ applications \ manage applications
Will mod it as for my 2 themes as soon as i get the final release ( videos and books only for US for now )
Haven't rebooted yet, oops!
I thought this was final now? El Goog have released it haven't they?
Please keep me posted if you know anything!

I'm just install new Market without erasing the old one and it goes fine (just click on install via ES file explorer and overwrite old Market). But the new one is little confusing for me
I like the new market. Its cool looking although sometime lagging a little bit..
much lag at all?
it's very nice
thats the only market apk i installed over the old one and didnt get a Force Close.. atlast the prob solved..
thanks...
The new look is really cool..
Yeah, it sure is prettier and it gives you way more functions. But damn, it's laggy as hell to be honest and the cache isn't making it any better -_-

I am in india. Read my post. This app is only available in Sweden. I wasted 2 hours using market enabler for each country lol.... Trial n Error works
Edit : Use this code 24003 in the market enabler app.(set custom option)
Not working for me... :/ It gets msg [70001] Error. Try Again Later. Im on .42 unlocked and relocked BL. Rooted. Anyone know why?
that maybe a TrackID issue, cause i did get error 4008 for sometime, till it started working. Maybe SE still needs to iron out the bugs. I suggest you try it out later.

Ok. It's working Previously i did like You suggest, restore with TiteniumBackup. It was restored correctly but working with error. Even cleaning app data didn't solved this problem. But when i uninstalled apk and then installed again with this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1362818 it works fine
Thank you so much
work, without restore from titanium or download via market (Xperia PLAY CM7 FXP047)
I just extracted the .apk, and installed it on my Neo (full stock). Great update! I really really like the new interface bits. If this is how SE will make their ICS look, they will have another killer Android modification on their resumé.

Once again thanks for this app.
Simple APK link that should work for everyone can push this with Chrome to Phone for us lazypeeps ^^ Also added some screenshots, feel free to use them in the first post. (Screenshots are in Dutch, many languages are supported by the app)

Hello guys,
I just got my MX4 today, of course rooted it, and I can't find a custom recovery for this device.
Do you guys managed to install a custom recovery yet, or do some flashing?
Thanks in advance!
No possibility!!

It is a recovery emulator. It simply translates Edify into Bash script.
Is the same as if you execute a script in a terminal emulator

Thank you Psycmos,
I'm kind of dissapointed of the low activity here on XDA about the MX4 considerind it's a really great device, very well balanced (coming from an HTC M9)
Anyway, here is what I managed so far, working perfectly:
1. Nova launcher
2. Xposed, with:
- Amplify
- App Settings (mostly for immersive mode)
- Battery Stats Plus
- Enable Battery Stats
- Flyme tools, of course
- Greenify
- Immerse Me (disabled in xposed because also hides the statusbar in homescreen)
- Lucky Patcher
- Smooth System Progress
3) Super User (chainfire)
To do list:
1) gain acces to system files via File Manager
2) Most important ! : somehow get the Xperia Z(1,2,3) video recording stabilizer, it's great!
In my case I am doing some mods, this is the latest: MoreFlymeNotifications, each notification with his icon!! Not grouped in the same icon.

Hi I've been a longtime iPhone User, Since the first one infact and the new 6s didnt really impress me so I decided to jump ship and try the android world. I was always a jailbreaker and I decided i was going to root my phone to get the benefits but I ran into a problem. The root went well but since I rooted my phone wont remember Wifi Passwords. If i leave wifi on and leave my house and come back its fine but if I switch Wifi Off then I have to re enter the wifi code. Is there any way to fix this? If not is there an easy way to unroot and restore?
Thanks

It's a very easy fix you'll need a build.prop editor which you can find on Playstore then open your build.prop editor and change ro.securestorage.support from true to false then reboot you'll have no problems after that. I've attached a screen shot to show what it should look like

Thanks man that worked like a charm. Any chance you could tell me what you can do with a root? I did it for adblock but can't seem to find it anywhere and all the stuff from xposed installer don't seem to work for me it says framework not updated or something like that.

Hi,
I have been trying for 2 days to get Bromite webview installed on my 6T running Omega+xXxNoLimits and every method I can find does not work with my set up. Not really a huge issue, but one less piece of google if I can replace it.
So I am wondering if it is part of the rom or the kernel? If it is rom related perhaps I can get the guys at xXx to work on it. If it is kernel I will look for a kernel that has it replaced.
Hope I am posting in the correct forum.
Thanks in advance, JC

That is actually the version I have on my phone.
Still did not answer my question though, at least not in terms that I understand at this particular point of my learning curve.
It does appear to be kinda open source( based on chromium, which is open source ) which is comforting, if google left it open source.
Thanks for the taking the time to respond.
what issue are you facing? you mentioned its in your phone, i assumed its installed. perhaps you mean how to configure system to use it?
go to system settings, search for 'webview' (screenshot #1) and make the necessary changes (screenshot #2).

As mentioned in my op all of the methods I have tried to get Bromite have not worked. Everything listed on their wiki does not work for one reason or another. The Magisk module did not work. Converting to a system app did not work.
My question is not about installing Android webview.
My question is whether webview is part of the rom or part of the kernel.
Again, Thank you for taking the time to view the post and answer.
whether if webview is part of rom depends on how you install gapps or similar, but definitely has nothing to do with kernel.
--- edit ---
not sure if webview comes with gapps.

OK thanks for the Intel.
When I have a chance I will take a look at the code from xXx.NoLimits. I am starting to guess they are replacing chrome webview w Android webview.
If it is still actually open source I will abandon my fight to install Bromite.

To get bromite to work you will need to disable the Chrome web browser or uninstall it. Once you do that and install bromite you will be able to select it.
I don't have Chrome on my phone and haven't since before I even thought about Bromite.
Webview is a function of the ROM. Its a rendering engine and there are normally 2 types on a stock ROM, Chrome or Android System WebView.
If you dont have Chrome installed then you wont see that as an option.
Im not sure how Bromite works or appears in the option list but I am sure that WebView is a ROM function and not Kernel.
Hope that helps and Good Luck!
