battery mod
hi,
fine to get a new dbt rom
is there already a battery icon mod?
would be very nice.
or is there no difference to the slovenia xwla4 battery mod from Brotuck?
(i would like to have only the modded batt icon, not the other things Brotuck did)
thx!
Full german?? Without branding?

Yeah with "Weißwurst und Bier". German tradition.

For real, what do you mean with "full german"? Android is multilanguage.

Any idea when (or if) we can expect 2.3.6 Nordic ... ?
BTW strange that Samsung keep coming with Gingerbread updates when ICS should be around the corner ... maybe its not so much round the corner
stock 2.3.6 GB better than 4.0.3 ICS - on SGS2 ... my feel & touch
this one GERMAN is unbranded , samsung stock
after 3 h of standby no battery consumption, 250 MB ram busy
i root and strip down all ****s from rom, with root sys apps uninstaller
German ROM gave me a random reboot after about 3 hours of use. It wasn't in use just sitting on my desk and it rebooted
Oh well back to WKI8 Nordic
Guys im from Brazil. My question is. Better keep this modem or flash XXKL1 MODEM?

No it is not fixed.
I feel like this has been an intended feature though, not too fond of it but am not bothered. Many sites have the mobile version anyway.
Intratech is fast. this Rom is already with old boot.

Sigh.. Thats a real shame, I can't take the wobbling around. I prefer desktop view so this is unacceptable for me. Does anybody know how it is in any of the ICS roms?

Yeah, this will again (as in the kh3, ki1 and ki2) be another non wipe. Or rather the only thing that shows to be wiped when Odined is the cache. This is again because this leak was not released in a 3 file set up. i.e. a "main".tar, MODEM.tar and a CSC.tar -- this is how the KF1 was set up.

Yeah me too. KJ3 has lots of bugs of its own.
Though I was expecting new leak to be 2.3.6 instead of 2.3.5
hmmm I wonder if UCKK2 will be leaked tomorrow and UCKK3 the day after...
anyway... I am still downloading this one!
I don't think they'll give the captivate a 2.3.6 ROM like the infuse, even though according to the smali code, it'll work for both.

Man, figures, as soon as I installed KJ3 that this would drop. Time to try yet again to see if my soft reboots are firmware related or not.
Has anyone actually noticed anything overtly different with this vs. KJ3?
Any sense as to whether this is actually the build that will actually be release via Kies? If I recall correctly, Froyo came out officially in the order of Epic, Vibrant, Captivate, Fascinate. Wonder if we will see the same schedule again.
Przekret, Thanks again for the leak ! Much appreciated !!

Quite difficult to tell...too early to judge. But with placebo effect, I'll tell you that it faster that KK5 I used prior to this one...but it may also be just because It's a fresh new rom (I wipe everything before flashing.I was using a custom rom therefore didn't want any trouble-bootloop etc.).
By the way, only support English and some South-Asian languages (thailand etc..)
Bottom line: Nothing have changed...all those samsung 2.3.6 rom are the same....just wait for ICS, it might bring some real improvements

Yes, it's being uploaded but the bandwidth is being shared with some uploads to a workgroup server.

Really don't need another gingerbread rom with ice cream sandwich round the corner. What the hell is samsung thinking.
Currently running the chainfire repacked i9220 version of ics for N7000 and is good enough as a daily rom.

What I can say many apps not ready for ICS and to many bugs (force close). for normal user and less headache just stick to official release.

* Is the Keyboard Lag gone for good, or is it still there ?
* Android OS battery Drain, Still present ?
* Black Shades in Video Playback ?
If the Above three bugs are fixed, I'd "consider" upgrading. Bad thing, Samsung doesn't release changelogs with their leaks . !!!

either of LA4/LA6 should works, more over new kernels are identical, so there should not be problem to use it.
