Hello! Is there any kernels with Voodoo control app support?
What is this "Voodoo" sound you speak of?

I dont think that the iconia will have voodoo compatibility because i think it doesn't use a wolfson dac

I was just doing some research on external DACs for another device and saw it mentioned that the A500 does have high-quality DAC. dmesg says tegra-snd-wm8903 which is the same found on Transformer TF101. I've not heard of it being implemented on the a500 strangely.

Put on a kernel with Voodoo sound and download the voodoo sound control app. Otherwise poweramp and winamp are both good.
Voodoo nogood for bluetooth only for wired headphones

I own this dock and listening to music through the speakers connected to the dock is probably about 25% of what I do with my iconia.

Currently on a pretty old ICS 4.0.3 of flexreaper and audio works with the dock, previous tegraowners ROMs have been sketchy through the dock at best.
Just wondering.... does anybody know if any of the new ROMs work with this dock?
Thanks!
Eric

Is there currently a kernel which supports usb audio output? I'm just wondering if I could do it. I saw workarounds and updated kernels for other devices, but do not know if it is available for our beloved tablet.
I believe there is a kernel, I'm running it right now actually. It's called KTManta. The link is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2015874
If you want to make sure just hop on the forum and ask the developer, I'm sure you'll receive a quick reply

Currently i have been using just DSP manager and poweramp. My previous setup was Viperaudio and poweramp and that was a great but i often foudn the audio glitchy at times and Viper was taking up too many cpu cycles asswell so had to ditch that. Curious as to what setup u guys are running
noozxoide works best for me with noozy

Voodoo sound and Poweramp makes for a epic audio experience
Voodoo sound paired with n7player is my go too nowadays. Newest 2.0 version is glitchy but thankfully you can get the older version on play store as well that's flawless on this old phone

DSP
I was just curious, I am already using the DSP manager's w8994 tab to modify the wolfson DAC setting, will switch to Voodoo sound change much for the sound quality or it is the same thing as using the DSP manager's w8994 tab? Thanks!

Hello,
I used to own a Nexus S and I remember having the app Voodoo Sound installed, which "unlocked" the phone's audio hardware's true potential.
I was wondering if there was an app available for the GS4 that would enhance the phone's audio performance in a similar fashion.
NB: I did check out Voodoo on the play store, only to not see the GS4 listed under "supported models".
Anyone have any suggestions/comments?
Thank you very much.

Not quite what he's asking for...voodoo was a little different, it enabled the user to really tweak how the audio chip worked...not only in loudness
For now your best bet is viper4android...its not as good as voodoo was but its much better than stock...viper however is pretty buggy on the s4, typically the first music player I try won't work so I'll have to switch to a diferrent one
