Problem with my blutooth headset I need help - Acer Iconia A500

I connect my iconia to a bluetooth headset but i not getting any sound and the headset mic don't work

This problem is fairly well known (and has been around since the android 3.0.1 fw)... If you had done due diligence searching (as recommended by the introductory video, the relevant information is available via Google in less than 30 seconds!) you'd have found out that this is a bug in the Acer BT Stack and happens with any headset (either they won't connect at all or mic won't work)... and saved yourself the embarrassment.

BT tools causing audio delay????

I recently put BT tools 1.1 on my XDA II (latest O2 updated rom).
Since then, if I try to answer or make a call, then no audio is received or transmitted, and both me and the other party think the call has been dropped, due to the silence. After exactly 15 seconds the audio becomes live, and normal. This is in the absence of any headset.
I suspect that the BT tools fires up the bluetooth connection and looks for a headset. Has anyone else noticed this? I have had to remove BT tools

yep i'm pretty sure it's caused by bluetooth tools trying to direct the call to the non present bluetooth headset

Requesting Help for a Bluetooth Workaround

Whilst we all wait to see if the HTC ROM with AKU 3.?? materializes, and if it does, whether the Bluetooth stack is improved, I would appreciate some help on a work around to improve in car hands free performance.
I have recently acquired an HTC Y-cable and a Martin Fields audio plug adapter, and I can now plug my TyTN into the Aux input in my car's sterio system and hear phone calls over my car sterio. However, as you would expect when I envoke my Bluetooth hands free device the sound is diverted away from my sterio and back to the Bluetooth device.
I thought to search for a Bluetooth Mic only but have not located one trawling on the net so far.
Is there a known registry hack that will stop the Bluetooth device from redirecting the sound to it, but still permit the mic to work? That way at least I could hear the other party with clarity even if my voice is not clearer. At least that would solve half the problem of the unsatisfactory Bluetooth performance for those that could use it.
Thanks.

WM6 with MS stack, PC with Widcomm stack, auto answer problem

Hi,
Some background:
I'm currently working on a carputer project. Everything is working wonderfully and right now I'm going through the final phase of having my HTC Universal (WM6) phone use the car speakers and microphone as headset.
On my computer I am running on Widcomm BT ver 5. The Universal phone is running the MS stack. I managed to pair and connect successfully with my WM6 device. The headset works very nicely both ways, but with a problem:
Whenever a phone call comes in the phone automatically answers the call without even asking me. It rings once then answers. This does not happen while not using a BT headset nor does it happen with my regular portable Samsung BT headset. My universal is set to never receive calls automatically on all profiles. I'm assuming the problem is in the Widcomm driver but there doesn't seem to be anything I can change in the software settings.
Does anybody know how to solve this problem? I obviously don't want every single call that comes in to get answered. I wouldn't even mind answering the call from the phone itself (and not from the PC) as long as the voice gets routed from the phone to the car stereo with the external mic.
Thanks!
Yaniv

[Q] Crazy???? Bluetooth headset and Skype

It is crazy to wonder if a bluetooth headset might make possible telephone calls through Skype? If not, is it a matter of software or hardware limitation. I can get my BT headset to pair, but haven't yet tried to set up Skype (I'm Skype illiterate). Is the foundation for processing digital voice to deliver to the Skype app in the Android OS for Nook. Might it be only necessary to change some flags to enable it?
Just wonderin'
I was thinking of doing the same thing. But I read somewhere that the BT on the NC has a really short distance, of around 1-2 feet. I hope it works

Has development for BT ceased? Would be very interested to have audio/VOIP piped through the device to a headset.

[Q] Bluetooth Car Handsfree Issues

Hi Everyone,
I am having issues with the built-in bluetooth handsfree system in my 2007 Infiniti g35x. In particular, although the bluetooth pairing was a quick and easy process, I can pick up and hang up calls without an issue, and audio is being sent back and forth between me and the other person on the line, the audio is garbled. I looked online and could not find a real way to deal with this --- is there any way to change settings with the bluetooth on my phone to get it to work with decent quality audio? It is barely (if at all) useable in its current state.
I have used the handsfree bluetooth system in the past with iPhones, and it has worked flawlessly (as far as I could tell). Does anyone know of any possible solutions to this problem?
Thanks for any help anyone can give! And sorry if this issue has been resolved before (I couldn't find anything).
