are posibole to make full dual toch (Real) on Synaptic digitizer?
Nope, the firmware for the Synaptics digitizer chips simply does not support true Multitouch.
Complain with Synaptics for not giving out the firmware so our devs could try to patch the firmware (as the chip itself would actually support it - at least on the specs paper).
i see on paper x8 have
Type TFT capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors
Size 320 x 480 pixels, 3.0 inches (~192 ppi pixel density)
Protection Scratch-resistant glass

Isn't possible to adapt the firmware of touch screen in phone with the same chip? For example, the optimus one (p500), nexus one or many others?

it was said many times. no. it will be possible if devs had the FW from the chip, but you can't get the FW. you can't read it from the chip. you can just write new FW to the chip, not read it (this is how i remember it)

Hi,
HTC have started shipping their handsets with Sony's Super LCD instead of AMOLED screens ..
My question is, is it the same screen that we have on our X10 or is it a new thing?
Every body seems to compare Super LCD with AMOLED, but what is the different between it and LCD?
Thanks
I think its a new thing. HTC normally has multi touch, the X10 not. So it can't and shouldn't be the same.
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
But the multi-touch isn't in the screen itself .. When we say screen we mean the display only without the touch layer ..
Its not the same as our x10. I'm pretty sure the x10 is just lcd.

Isn't "super LCD" just plain old marketing?

Totally true, my bad. But it might be different because sony would have promoted this X10 for having this super lcd, which they didn't.

My guess is HTC are calling it super lcd because they don't want customers to think they replaced AMOLED with something inferior. I wouldn't be surprised if there is nothing special about this LCD.
Perhaps they use an IPS instead of a TN panel and call it super-lcd? this would really make a difference in display quality. just a guess...
super LCD is way cheaper than AMOLED, works better under sunlight but consumes greater battery, AFAIK its the same screen in the x10

it could just be marketing but htc claims that super-lcds provide a better battery life than AMOLED. Sources: here, here and here
Btw, I don't really think sony (who are the developers of super-lcd) would build in a super-lcd in X10 and don't promote it.
Hello,
is it possible to replace LCD screen in Wildfire with screen from Legend or Hero?
They all are 3.2 inches but they have bigger resolution. Thanks
You can change your Resolution with LCD Dastiny Changer(in market for ~0,90$)

3.2 inches, but different aspect ratios:
Wildfire:
320x240 pixels, 1.333 aspect ratio (4/3)
Hero:
480x320 1.500 aspect ratio
Plus different digitizers rezulting in different drivers, and the fact that wildfire`s buttons are on the same glass plane with the digitizer so short answer: no.
Long answer: nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
It`s impossible.
I've read on several sites about this phone and i'm planning to buy one but the problem is i'm confused whether this device is pumped up with a LCD, TFT capacitive or AMOLED screen? now some websites state that it has AMOLED tft capacitive screen. I would like to have some clarification about this. and some feedback would be appreciative about this device...
The first stock had AMOLED screens, now they are produced with TFT's you may be able to find an AMOLED one via ebay etc.
Many people will say there isn't much difference anyway.
Well actually, there's a huge difference..see for yourself !

Yes it's brighter etc but also the con being screen burn!
Anyway you will have to buy second hand or old stock for AMOLED
Glad baught mine when first came out...
It's actually quite easy to find out if your Blade has the AMOLED or TFT screen.
Go to settings> About phone> Build number
If it ends in 05, it's an AMOLED. If it ends in 08, you've got yourself a LCD. (This is only true for grey devices.)
Earlier android authority said the nexus 10 had an AMOLED 2650*1600 screen. I was sad when I read that because I despise pentile subpixel.
But then android authority posted the "official" specs, but this time it didn't say pentile.
So does it have an IPS LCD or (S)AMOLED?

Right its RGBW not RGBG so Its gonna be quite different but definitely better than RGBG pen tile display in terms of whites even when compared to LCD it would be brighter
Also reviewers say that display looks quite awesome

It uses IPS screen. I would inform you that IPS screen might show problems with ghosting image as new Apple Macbook Retina Display.
Personally I prefer IPS LCD to Super Amoled technology. I prefer the more natural tones to the saturated colours on the SAMOLED.
What it is:
PLS - Plane to Line Switching. PLS screens are exclusive to Samsung.
RGB stripe - just like your desktop display.
What it is not:
IPS - In Plane Switching. While IPS and PLS are similar, there are differences, and PLS is generally thought to be superior.
RGBW - There is no evidence to support it being a RGBW display. Samsung has a RGBW display, but Google wanted a pure RGB display.
Pentile - Nope. No funky triangular subpixels or RGRB going on here.

It seems like you may have a misconception here. AMOLED does not equate to pentile. Pentile refers to how the subpixels are arranged. AMOLED can have a RGB subpixel arrangement and LCD can be made to have pentile subpixel too. Just saying.

Nope it's PLS-LCD, not AMOLED. Completely different, no per-pixel backlight.
Samsung seems to be saying that PLS is an IPS like display, we'll have to wait and see what the reviews say.

I think you confused the Note 2 with the Note 10.1. The note 2 is SAMOLED with full RGB subpixel.

It is impossible to set up such an huge OLED screen, with a high pixel density of 300 ppi.
If galaxy s3's screen(~5 inch) has a 90% yield, then a 10-inch-oled-300ppi screen would only get a 65% yield.
further more, the screen may take up too much power, around 10 watt, (white at 300nit)

No, I don't have a misconception.. I know Super AMOLED means PenTile subpixel, whereas Super AMOLED+ means RGB subpixel.
At least that is what an article I read said.
At any rate I know that 'AMOLED' doesn't mean PenTile, but in most cases [aside from Super AMOLED+] it does.
And thanks everyone.. I can't wait to get one of these, but I will have to wait till they go for cheaper on craigslist, because $499 is a little to much to spend right now. [and 16GB is just a little too small]
Some sources say TFT while other say IPS. I'm looking to replace my aging Tab 4 10 Plus and every device baring the SoC is a straight downgrade.
it has a tft i owned one before i broke it but i did replace it with a tft and its fine, so i think it uses a tft panel yes.
