I recently purchased Xoom wifi and found that i am not able to see international fonts -- for eg: .bbchindi. It is strange that when I went to best buy i was able to see that site clearly on Xoom 3G.
What do I need to do to see these sites properly. I tried text encoding to utf8, changed from mobile to desktop uastring..

Hey I was wondering do anyone know if can change my android market on my samsung sung galaxy tab my version is froyo 2.2 so how can I change it? Because the market version I have now doesnt show the applications when I search thank you!
You m ay not have access to those applications due to country restrictions. Try "Market Enabler" from the market (actually you will need to have a root privileges to do this) and try a country like say, I dunno, the USA for example.
Also, if you've changed the LCD Density, you won't get apps that aren't compatible anymore. So you might want to change it back (something like 240 is the default, I think)
Hi, basically the problem is when I go to settings there is no option called "users". when I swipe down there is no user avatar. by the way android lollipop is the software version. I was watching a review on YouTube, there they had the option. but I don't. anyone knows why?

Might be something the carrier or region where you got the tablet doesn't support. No idea why, but there are carriers here that asks the manufacturers to not enable some options, such as the Download Booster on Galaxy phones. Either that, or maybe another updated version of the software enables it. You might look into custom roms based off of less restricted software.

The other way to do it is from the quick settings pull down, touch the profile pic (might be the standard person-head icon)
when I pull it down there is no user avatar (profile pic) nothing at all
What's the Build Number of the software?
Lollipop 5.0.2. The manual says the option of USERS in under the device tab in settings. but I don't have it.

5.0.2 is the android version, not the Build Number of the software.

Hope someone can help as I have never expereinced a problem like this on my previous S3, I just got a new S7E and I set it up to use UK English, when I click on the microphone button in the message box (either text or WhatsApp), it beeps and says "OFFLINE MODE UNAVAILABLE".
I then clicked on the gear icon and looked at the language settings, the US English is up to date and set as the default, I also d/l'ed the French language pack without any issues, but when I tried the UK English, nothing happens, the pack is there looking like its ready to d/l and I can cancel it, but nothing is actually happening. This is with SwiftKey. I have also tried it with the Samsung keyboard & Google speech and its the same. The UK language pack just isnt being downloaded
I am based in Dubai and I have tried this on my home WiFi, via a friends VPN connection and via my mobile data so it's not something specific to the Middle East (and I had no issues with the S3). The phone is completely upto date with all the software etc done.
Could anyone point out what I am doing wrong or if it is a general error and I am not admitting defeat to my Apple friends who said I should swap from 'droid to IOS - they can bugger right off...!
