Hello,
Does anybody of you know how to debug errors while installing the software on Windows Mobile 5.0 ? When a program fails it just displays a message "the installation unsuccesful" which is not very helpful to diagnose what's wrong.
Hi
im sure u guys figured it out already - but i can't find the post in which there are instructions how to use adb and my samsung galaxy , cause i get an "device not found" error, and this is because i dont have the f***ing usb driver for my galaxy.
im running win xp sp2, the phone is NOT in storage mode, it IS in debug mode, and nps is installed.
I CANT FIND THE DRIVER FOR THAT "Other Devices -> Unknown device" hardware!!
please help or at least redirect to the post that solves this issue...
thanks!
You need to point it to the USB driver directory in the SDK folder for 1.5, you'll either need to force it or modify the inf file.
It doesnt work properly with the 1.6 driver. I posted a modified driver on the other forum, you can search there:

Hello, I am trying to repartition with HD2 NAND toolkit, and I keep getting this error.
USB init failed
Info: .\RSPL\RSPL.cpp (736).
I already tried searching but I did not find anything that can fix it.
My current computer is 64 bit Windows 7, and it gives me that error.
I just also tried it on a 32 bit Windows XP computer, it won't get past "Waiting for USB connection"
Can someone please help? I can't proceed.
Can someone help
try to update your drivers, they might be corrupted, try some of the links below it might help.
i know there is a thread here all bout the drivers needed for the HD2
I've tried installing the drivers from the device manager, and pointing it to the Drivers folder from the Toolkit, but when I go to install the driver I get this message: "The hash for the file is not present in the specified catalog file. The file is likely corrupt or the victim of tampering."
I tried the naked driver posted on these forums as well and keep getting that same message. As a result, I can't get the drivers installed, and can't run the toolkit to root my N7.
Halp? Suggestions?
*edit* Using Windows 8 64bit if it helps.
I recently found an Intel Edison Module, and I stuck on it's driver
Install wizard says install is complete but log says not: .inf install sequnce returned 1
I tried it in PWSH and CMD, but...
Code:
.\drvinstall.exe i .\intc_usbcomp.inf
INFO: Input file "C:\Users\skyca\Downloads\inteledisondriversetup1.2.1\intc_usbcomp.inf"
TEST: preinstalling driver package.
DriverPackagePreinstall Failed with error code 0xE0000247
Does anyone knows How to solve this such as some inf installer?
