Just use swap partition.. It creates a virtual ram that somewhat increases your ram... and you need a kernel that has swap support.

Which kernal has swap support?

Bt it has its advantages like it reduces life of your sdcard and read write speed also...as it continously read and write data on sd...

Ill go with the smaller one cause it looks cool and it doesnt consume much space so u can add more...
