Hello,
i m new to this forum and i could not find anything about my problem:
everytimes i go to youtube mobile and open a videoclip, it says that the G3 / Wap connection doesnt work.
this is right cause i ve got no g3 wap gprs and so on but Wifi, WLAN...
so how can i play youtube videos with wlan? surfing is no problem but my media player tells me to connect and immediatly closes.
i've got an MDA Pro (htc universal) with windows mobile 5
thank you
You need to use TCMP player it plays the flv videos. Google it and you should find it http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/test/ somewhere on the net is the settings that allow you to play utube videos.
Good luck it does work I just haven't done it in forever.

The most easy way to play youtube videos and even videos from other sites is to use a program called "vTap"
Or you can check out this thread that I started: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=365252
You can play in opera mobile, but the performence in my experience is that it is very slow!
Good luck!
thank you, it works very well
Hi guys
quick question
has anybody managed to get the X1 work with streaming sites that link to files placed on youku? it doesnt seem to work for me at all ... the same is true for sports streaming. Plus, I downloaded the TVu winmobile player but it doesnt seem to work at all. If I try to follow a tvu link I get an error message, if I just start tvu and select a channel I can see it buffering, but once it reaches 100% nothings happens.
any ideas? are there winmobile versions of other known streaming apps like sopcast or tv ants?
thanks for you help guys

Samsung PC share manager; and
MediaLink (PS3 UPnP server) (worked on an iMac)
Have been suggested here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=711842&highlight=dlna
Another suggestion from user Beards:
"I 'FINALLY' managed to get my DLNA link working with both my Laptop & the Samsung TV.
What I had to do is for each time it passed data to either devices I had to first STOP Wifi then restart it.
If I did not do this it AllShare would not obtain a link."
@alovell83
thank you very much for replying.
I will try it and let you know if problem is solved.

you can download HTC YouTube Player (QVGA) 320x240 at http://www.4shared.com/get/HajJ0vGy...sionid=07CCB9991329A2BDCAA9AF6784734CA7.dc211
and use the cab file below to fix some errors
Thanks a lot , but it didn't work for me , i installed both but The YouTube App says "cannot play this video".
Could you please tell if it's working for you , and if so what ROM are you using.
Thanks again.
