how do you get fastboot with the ics bootloader??? Just wondering out loud!
you can try fastboot first see this thread and try flashing the recovery.img there
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2092414
run fastboot devices command and see if it returns you a ?
if it does go ahead and run the erase commands for userdata and cache
then flash cwm_recovery.img

if i ask for version it says 4.0
if i ask for serial he says : Kal-E1001
i read on site here that yer usb\UID has much to do with cpuid... my usb\uid is something like SB\VID_0502&PID_3201\5&1dd2df13&0&1 if fastboot connected i see it with usbdeview
if connected in usb recovery i see USB\VID_0955&PID_7820\5&1dd2df13&0&1 in deview
how to these relate to cpuid? or they have something to do with the kal-E1001?

This is what you need to see "0502" under VendorID and 3325 "ProductID", so again the numbers you posted arent the right ones
you need Linux to get your cpuid - there IS no other way for you now
see eppeP's method in the guide or the sticky in general by srbeen
Until you do this your tab will remain bricked -
Last resort - you might ask your friend to run usbdeview from his PC

There is also the option of building against the Windows Driver Kit using MSVC.
This have the slight disadvantage of having to download about 1300MB (MSVC+WDK) and no instructions if you don't have any idea how to compile.
Besides having to have Windows...

You have to run the LG tool and go back to stock.
I tried to update my phone and it died. Its booting in fastboot mode only. I tired to use fastboot commands but none of them worked. For example, if I write fastboot erase recovery, I get erasing and then nothing. I tried 3 different PCs and couple of different cables just to ensure if the error wasnt because of them.
Please help.

I managed to finally get it to work with Win 10 using the drivers from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/zuk-z1/help/files-zuk-z1-drivers-qpst-roms-twrp-t3221629 I'm not sure if was just these drivers that solved it because I had an absolute bear of a day trying to get it to work and some odd stuff happened. But I just know it worked shortly after installing them. Now I'm very pleased with NuleaRom installed

Need help with Unlocking the bootloader

Hi Guys,
I am having a H870 and I am having trouble getting the phone to detect in the bootloader menu.
LG drivers and ADB is properly installed.
Phon gets detected when it's turned on and can get it into the bootloader. However, in the bootloader phone is not detected.
OEM unlocking enabled, debugging enabled when the phone is turned off device is detected in the device manager as an adb device.
Please help.
Hello, I just did it for a second hand H870 (europe) running Oreo.
I followed (google it) "Autoprime official unlock" ... This guy explains how to do this very well ...
But beware this :
a) With Oreo, the official TWRP (v3.2.3) does not work (neither in MTP mode nor in MIDI mode) ... you have to use the unofficial TWRP developped by RunningNak3d ... : https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g6/development/twrp-t3828254.
b) after the unlock process is completed, a nag screen (warning about bootloader) will appear at each boot.
c) Follow well Autoprime guide and pay attention to his explanation of reboot after installation of TWRP (holding the VOL- & Power button ...)

Right !
"adb commands" and "fasboot commands" depend on the mode in which is your phone ...
With this in mind, follow the guides ...

Hey LLoTE ... "thanks" for the "stop giving misinformation" ...
I was just trying to help ... and you know what ? protocol717 said in its message that "LG drivers and ADB is properly installed."
As far as I know, fastboot commands work only in fasboot mode ... I thought protocol717 made the mistake to confuse the 2 modes ... When you're in "adb mode" and not yet in "fasboot mode" the command "fastboot devices" will not work ... As simple as that ...
Read my first message for God's sake. My intentions are good and I give valuable information for any person who is looking for help (Autoprime guide).
