check out the Themes and Apps section. They have some custom boot animations there, and yes they can have sounds.
rom toolbox also has a collection of animated boot animations, and it makes it very easy to flash them.
Lol.. is not boot animations but thanks .. its an animated bootloader is like a custom bootloader.. with music nd custom background ....
Here's where I got the idea http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1394346

Having rooted 6 phones isn't that spectacular. Also, I'm pretty sure that person meant boot animation, not bootloader. That just shows that they do not know there way around Android as much as they claim.
Oh well thanks

Bump... I would like to know this too! Is it even possible to change the TMOUS-HD2 (LEO1024) splash screen to the standard HTC (LEO512) version?
You need to find the nbh file of what you want and flash it

but how? can you make it clear?
Have you found a splash screen? If so you just need to flash it like a custom rom
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
Just like any other device with a start up screen it is usually called a splash screen.
You can do a search for that term or just go to this thread
thanks alot...

For those who just want to flash the stock splash screens, I already have them in my sig.
I have the T-Mobile USA image, the WWE "HTC" image, and the image seen during the flash process.
Did you get it figured out ?

i managed to install this PCW, been theming it in UOT too.
what i do remember is though is that the first boot after u install this mod takes AGES, i didn't time it but it was definitely uncomfortably long. it hung for ages on splash screen (and after boot animation which i thought was weird). mayb i just had a little faith.
hope u get it working, i've found it v useful!
I was wondering if anyone has successfully installed the sense 3.0 lockscreen on the new sense 2.1 gingerbread leak?

I tried that exactly how it was explained but nothing changes.....still the default sense lockscreen
I'm on nfinitefx45's Leak Rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1082793) and after reading some of the other comments on the Lockscreens page they say it doesn't work on the Sprint leak on the Evo either.....I wonder why it doesn't work on the Sprint release.....weird
On Mik's GB and it worked after I turned on the stock Android lockscreen in display settings, backed out and locked, unlocked, then went back to display settings and unchecked.

For me on the new leak i had to use root explorer to delete the old htclockscreen then copy the new one into the app folder under system. Then reboot your phone and its there

Thats basically what my way does just without using a root explorer.....I was already in Titanium Backup restoring all my files and figured I would give it a shot....that way is most likely faster and easier to do tho....
Has anyone changed the stock Motorola boot animation? I tried by putting the file in data/local without luck. I am rooted (obviously). If anyone has had success, please let me know how. Thanks
I used an app that worked on my atrix hd. The phones are very similar so idk if it will work for you but you can search the play store and try and find a good app for you ik there are several

I tried that too and the new animation comes up and disappears. Then I have a black screen until the phone is booted. The only difference between the files is the original has 2 parts while the Jelly Bean has 3 (0, 1, 2). Not sure how to proceed.

Yea, it is good. I got it from CM directly. It worked perfect on the Nexus. Has anyone actually changed the boot animation successfully or are we going from past phones?

I used rom toolbox pro to change mine and it worked perfectly. Make sure the resolution is like 1186x720 and between 25-30fps anything above the values it won't display.
Hello, i wish you can help me with this...
i am currently using P.A.C True All in 1 ROM v20.0.0... and i cant find or it doesnt have the option to turn off the CRT Animation.
i have tried adding "debug.sf.electron_frames=1" to local.prop via adb without any results.
i am guessing it is because of 4.2.2 framework.. anyways im a noob on it..
any ideas of what should i do?
