[APP] Froyo Android stock clock request

Hi everyone,
Someone that can share the stock clock from Android Froyo with me? A link with a zip I can flash would be highly appreciated.
Running Froyo Sense on Desire with the stock lockscreen makes me need the clock as well, so I can get the alarms on the lockscreen.

Install the desk clock from CM6, or there's a clone on the market.

Thanks, don't know which clock you were talking about, but I'm looking into Alarm Clock Plus V2. Seems like it does the trick for me!

[Release] Espresso BrightSilence Black for 2.29.405.x

I have made the Espresso BrightSilence Black Mod for 2.29.405.x for you.
- base is 2.29.405.5
- remove old icons & add missing icons
- statusbar in black (not transparent)
- setting widget (energy) in blue
- statusbar background with blue android
- new bluetooth and gps icon in statusbar
- new notification widget in statusbar when open (with widget.txt)
- homescreen drag & drop (helicopter)
- blue progressbar/volumebar
To edit the notification widget in the statusbar you can change /system/customize/widget.txt with what you want.
Available values for widget.txt:
toggleWimax
toggleAirplane
toggleAutoRotate
toggleBluetooth
toggleBrightness
toggleFlashlight
toggleGPS
toggleLockScreen
toggleMobileData
toggleScreenTimeout
toggleSleepMode

I make no other version i only use a stock rooted 2.29.405.5 with this theme.
When i change the rom i make a update/new of this theme.

well, it's 99.9% the espresso theme I've only changed the weather clock tab png (and the launcher icons) I will add the weather widget apk but you will have to replace it with the one in the espresso theme then re-flash
the icons are from riptideg's theme

but i didnt get u said u will add the weather widget but i have to replace it with the one in espresso mod so, where is your weather widget? i just can see the clock widget. the clock widget is as same as weather widget? how to change the png file?

sorry I mean the clock widget (which is attached to my post) download that and the espresso theme then open the theme with winrar delete the HtcClockWidget.apk and replace with my one then flash the theme

replace the original clock apk with this one

I have no clue how to combine these 2.

I tryed to put some of my files in this theme but I cant do that..? It looks like there are two files of the same name in folder with battery .png files and 7zip is showing some error message when I try to add some of my files.. but if I delete that error files and add my battery files after flashing that changed file I cant see battery at all.. there is no battery icon in status bar..:-( Someone else have similar problem? How to do that? change battery .png files to work?

Me too but I do like scar45 PCB Theme with bounce animations. Eskodroid's black and blue espresso is good with the notification power control widget, maybe we'll get carbon with this mod too.

Problem with Themes Not Installing

I thought this was maybe a problem with the theme I downloaded, but I've tried 5 other themes now, and it's the same story. I'm running RC1, and am using RC1 themes.
I download a theme, place it on SD, wipe cahce and dalvik, install, reboot...and nothing happens. I go into themes and the same 3 are still there...I try going through each of the 3 themes, and they aren't what I've downloaded.
So what is going on?

anyone, anyone? Bueller?

Are you trying to install themes that can be used with the theme chooser? Or are they flashable zip files? Because if they are for the theme chooser the theme is a .apk and needs to be installed like a app. You can do this using most any file explorer.

I have tried both flashing them in recovery, and installing them through the market. None of them work. You go into "theme chooser" and the same 3 are still there that show up when I've flashed the ROM.
I've tried this with the RC build, and the nightly build of CM7...none of them work.

Name the themes...it may help isolate the cause?

Which are zip files and which are apk files?
Mixer and honeycomb alpha v3 are apk files installed as true blue stated earlier. R2D2 is zip file that is flashed but not sure if working on nightlies since RC1. Others I do not know of....

Honeycomb is the only one I've gotten from the market...the rest I've flashed in recovery.

The honeycomb theme from the market is an adw theme. The others that you flash will not show in the theme Chooser. Hope that clarifies it for you.

Oh, ok well I'll try that.
But that doesn't explain why when I flash things, it doesn't show up in theme chooser.

Flashed zipped files do not show up in theme Chooser. Theme Chooser themes are apk files.
Adw themes show up in adw settings and choose theme.
In short, tmo/cm7 theme engine (theme Chooser app) only accepts apk files themed for this engine. Some are on the market and some are available through searching.

ok with that being said
how would you explain the themes not showing up once they are flashed through cwm?
for example for me...i flash Bliss in cwm for cm7 RC1 and as soon as the phone boots it shows the new theme
but in Bballs case the new theme he flashed doesnt show at all...even though he followed the same steps as i did...flashing Bliss in cwm on cm7 RC1
any idea why its not working for him?

Let's think it through. All things being equal prior to flashing the theme, what possible causes are there? First, bad download. Second, things are not equal prior to flash of theme. E.g., some settings or theme each phone has set is different (system or cyanbread for example). Some ideas??

Ok. What theme do you have selected in theme Chooser? Likewise for the other phone.

well i know for at least me
i flashed Bliss on a fresh cm7 install...so the system theme was the current theme...other than that it was a normal install that i flashed Bliss
now Bball may be different...but im pretty sure he tried also on a fresh cm7 install...but i wont assume...im sure he can fill you in on what he did
EDIT: just to clarify my fresh install was cm7 RC1 and nothing else...no faux kernels or other icons or themes....flashed cm7 RC1 then after boot and initial setup i booting back into cwm and flashed the Bliss theme

yeah...well cm7 default which is adw
but that bliss theme is setup for rc1 cm7
thats sorta why im at a loss for Bball...cause its him having the issue...mine works fine...ive just been trying to help him but wasnt able to get it working for him

Does anyone have honeycomb styled icons for the droid? i have cm7 rc4 and use the honeybread theme. so i only think its right to complete the process

You can extract them from the Honeycomb ADW theme (which I have done myself) using 7zip and browsing around through the apk file. Here's a link to the apk (which is also free on the market).

Hey. I'm looking for the stock htc sense 2.1 lockscreen, cause i'm on GalaxySense and it has sense 3.0 lockscreen .. i dont like it and i wanna have the slide down one from sense 2.1.

download a froyo-sense rom and grab the lockscreen.apk?

How can this apk be flushed in an already installed ROM? I suppose that the apk cannot be flashed in recovery

I have retrieved a 2.1 lockscreen apk but i can't install it!
Please help

If using ClockWorkMod, try mounting /system/ in recovery. I've no tried, but Root Explorer might be able to replace it also.
