When i finally think i'm happy with a custom rom, i find a new one that i wanna test. Thanks a bunch!

I only get 868 points in Quadrant with the Arc-X8 i installed yesterday. All in all the phone runs smooth and more ore less fast but Angry Birds e.g. in some situations is very slow.
Does anyone know when a new version of minicm will be released?

Shuji is a Droid X only ROM, built on the .596 GB Kernel / Operating System, Fuzed with optimization scripts by Imoseyon, Jrummy16, Mobile_Sensei, & JakeBites, as well as system applications compiled from Cyanogen & Android Open Source By Fabolous & r2DoesInc. I'm using this after I got tired of cm7 and miui having not very good battery life...... the best day I had with this phone was 20 hours with pretty heavy usage.. went out at 10pm with 30% and streamed HQ video from YouTube to play music... took pictures and some videos..came home at 3am and had 9%... oced to 1.1 ghz @ 57v and 300 mhz @ 16v....oced to 1.2 ghz at 64v and still got 16+ hours with heavy usage... this rom is awesome

This rom is super fast, But it didn't work great for me. The big deal breaker was Bluetooth, Every time I was on a phone call and tried to adjust the volume the phone would just hang up on my call. I thought maybe it was just the headset I was using so I tryed another one and same issue. I went back to Liberty GB .9

I doubt it will be able to happen since this is a stock based rom instead of a 2nd init rom.

Its painful coming back to a GB Stock rom after being on a 2nd init rom. Having 1% increments was so nice. Hopefully the better battery life will offset my need to actually know if im on 20% versus 29%

I tried the ram optimization script on some roms... It feels smoother but not that much.
Will try the other one now
And if you want a real fast rom use jw kernel
Makes your phone booting in half of the normal time

where does anyone get the orders from?
I was told to do 3 then 7, in a topic for a ROM i flashed.
does that mean,
So i just run it,
press 3,
when it finishes doing it's thing,
press 7,
when it finishes, I just switch phone off-and back on?

I've been playing mc2 on my phone and the multiplayer mode is quite nice Has anyone tried MC3? Could the u8800 even run it by using about 1.2 ghz OC and chainfire3D? Any info would be great

Result: took 7mins to load first mission. After that, while ingame i faced lots of fps drop. Game runs with lag. If someone has latest cm, please test. Cm7 has better quadrant.

Would cm7/oxygen be better? I don't want to overclock more than 1.2 ghz...but chainfire isn't a problem to me.

I think cm7 might do better. Try it yourself Maybe it will run. If it wont, update to official 2.3.5 beta1 and then to cm7 or miui. It has its risks, but its worth it. better cam, and most importantly BETTER 3D

Hi, i have edited the build.prop file, trying different stuff that came up with google. No luck.
The market does recognize my phone as Desire HD, but it still does not allow me to install it.
Is there a tutorial somewhere that i can use to verify changes?

For me 1.1 opens until the pic with the soldier comes, then it restarts again and again..... trying 1.0.0 now.

Hello all I am currently using miui.us ROM as my daily driver for my inspire 4g and its very smooth and fluid however my only problem is that the browser tends to force close when selecting text, does anyone know how to fix this?

why not trying other ROM? or another browser app.

Only other MIUI ROM with jellybean that functions is hkumar’s JellyMIUI and as of right now the latest builds are buggy :/ though I am open to trying other ROMs.

I will note there is a patched version with in browser text selection working and everything else over at miui.com in the Chinese forums. I'm wondering if its fixes and sources can be recompiled to this original version as the patched one is over themed and mainly in Chinese :/. *Update* tried the browser suggestion and tried copying browser text with opera mini and it seems to fix the problem. I really like the miui stock browser is there a patched version or anything I can use apposed to opera?

If you don't mind gb I really recommend mrgaraks Miui freshly squeezed rom.
I've had it for a couple of months now, every time I flash a ics or jb rom there's always little bugs that irritate me. But I keep going back to this, literally had not a single problem.

The original camera on some miui 4x versions indeed works. Mainly all the 4X I've tested from miui.us miuiandroid and miui.com excluding JellyMIUI *latest builds* camera works but camcorder force closes. The fixed camera apk is floating around here somewhere in the forums I'll probably upload the link later If I can find it.
*Edit* here it is make sure you download the fixed 2 apk version works *camera & camcorder* with a majority of 4X miui ROMs just install it like any other app the first run maybe a little laggy so give it a few minutes to settle and it'll run smooth after that. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=15307536&postcount=167

But the old miui cannot edit the drawer size as some people prefer the icon to be 4x5 but new version can.

I wouldn't know I only had it for all of ten minutes, the theme app was retarded on this one, had to sign up to xaomi just to try and change it. Plus Gmail never worked properly, just jitters weirdly when you open it.
If you know a decent port to dhd without these issues let me know cos other than those problems I really liked it

I'm using latest miuiandroid (3.1.18) with ics 4.0.4 and it's pretty stable. The only issue I noticed is the wifi hotspot. It has a sense camera as it is based on desire s sense rom. It also has the sense fm radio. Inspire users have to flash a patch to improve the sound quality. Gapps have to be flashed separately.
I'm telling you this in case anyone is interested.
EDIT: I forgot to mentioned that you can flash control panel from miuiaustralia in order to customize some stuff like clock position and other things.
EDIT 2: Browser text selection works perfectly.
