Activesync error

Hi, by mistake I connected my phone to my computer before installing the software. Now it doesn't recognizes the device even after i installed the software for it.
Any help!!! Somebody pls...
Try connecting the phone to your computer (I'm assuming that you're using Windows XP), and then going into device manager and right clicking on your phone and uninstalling it. Remove the phone. Make sure that ActiveSync is running and try plugging in your phone again.

Problems with HTC Sync

Hi All,
I just bought my HTC Desire HD yesterday and plugged it to my Win XP SP3 PC. I forgot to install HTC Sync before that and the phone was detected as an "Unknown Device" by Windows and it was unable to find the drivers. Then installed the last HTC Sync version and when I plugged the phone again, it's detected as "Android Phone", but it's unable to install the right drivers. Tried to manually remove the devices from the Device Manager in Windows, but no luck, when I restart the PC the "Found New Hardware Wizard" comes up and phone is not detected properly
Any Ideas?

[Q] Windows XP Active Sync with Leo.

Hey guys i have look through alot of threads and still have not found a solution.. i have had my Leo for quite a while and wanted to try something new so i have all of the files and information i need for Android 2.2 Froyo. The only problem i have is with Windows Active Sync 4.5 on windows xp. It will not recognize my phone.. it wont auto connect and when i try to manually do it it scans all the ports and still doesnt find it.. i have unchecked (faster data sync) in setting on the phone.. please if there is a way to fix this please enlighten me im desperate ))
Switch the phone into BootLoader mode. then connect to the computer. The 'Serial on the phone's screen should then change to 'USB' and if the computer recognises it.
If it does, then open Device Manager in the computer then switch the phone on normally and connect to the computer see if an addidtion device appears in the USB connections.

[Q] Connecting HD2-W7 to a XP computer

Hi I've just bought this phone HTC HD2 and Win7 was installed on it.
However, I just can't connect it to my Windows XP computer .
Is there something I've missed to do? I have Activesync 4.5 installed and it just doesn't see my phone.
I'm new with this so any help will be highly appreciated.
I'd like to install Android Gingerbread on it but the first step (a connection to my pc) is already a burden
With windows phone 7, you don't sync like previous windows phones... Activsync is no more...
You sync media (music, videos, pics etc) with zune...
You can sync contacts and calender with hotmail/gmail/livemail...

You can sync using the bootloader.
Turn off your phone, then boot while holding volume down. Then connect the USB and flash what you want .
P.S. : (Your device may not show up on Active Sync, but as long as all the drivers are installed then your device is connected.)
