i'm happy with chronos 1.4.1 running with launcher pro
I am using Cronos and it is the best rom I have used so far. I believe I will stick with the Cronos.
Looking forward to 1.5 and after that hopefully Froyo.

In that case apologies, I created it as I was not aware of the other poll, or if I did, I forgot,
Since X8 and X10 are close relatives, I think you should contact with the MIUI for x10 ROM developers/porters and ask them if you can base your ports on their, or use some stuff from their roms. I think it will ease up the porting process.

x8 and x10 aren't close, x8 is armv6, x10 is armv7. this is a big diferrence. this is the reason why there were miui ports for x10, but there were no working ports for x8. miui was closed source and it was only for armv7. but now, it has changed
I hope that is to take advantage of these links to get to Rom is complete and stable,This Rom like a dream for x8

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't know, but this thread may be closed if there is no use. Because I saw so many MIUI ports there, and I thought hey, Xperia X8 is somewhat related to X10, so porters can take advantage..

CM10 (WIP), CM7 is usable, and Froyo is stable (just choose the rom you want). What else do you want? :silly: and btw, building 2.3+ roms are harder then customizing Froyo roms....what do you expect?

See, first of all, this is a development thread, you are not supposed to be posting any useless threads or any requests or any such things. Second, Developers develop in their free time, they are not going to work as you say, after all they are already doing us a favor by sharing with us, their hard work and their ROMS. And more over they are doing it for free. Third, there are plenty of "STABLE" froyo roms as well as a pretty stable cm7 (2.3 rom) which you can use. And regarding update and active development, I think Galaxy 3 is currently in its one of the best phase of development, kernel 3.4, jelly bean, openfimg etc.
Looks like you are new here at XDA, and you did NOT read the rules of XDA and probably didn't even watch the amazing "You are a noob" video, here are some links for you, you MUST follow, and please go through all of them before continuing further on XDA -

G3 community is less active because this device is a low-end and old one...if you want a lots of roms with full working list go buy an GN or GSIII and go away ! We all love this community and their devs so show more respect to them, they made my old phone the best it could be and I thanks them for that

And the other thing is g3 has lots of developmn many high end devices dont even have so much of activity going on. like moto droid razr being a high end its really less active i development....they dont hve muh custom roms either. g3 instead have had more deving 2.2>2.3>4.0 and now an almost working 4.1. thts a record break . reporting this thread now or this topic will go on extending and mod will scold of of us......

The title really hurts me..........wake up devs?? Are they sleeping??
They are striving hard even in their spare/leisure time to keep this phone alive for years to come.
Our community is really gifted to have such a bunch great devs.
Just because you moved to a new device, plz don't post things that discourage devs........there r still a lot of devs who have upgraded their devices & still help us.
Sorry if it looks rude. But, we are friends indeed.

Hi everybody. I know this is NOT te proper place to open this thread, but since this is the most read subforum, I am sorry but I will open it here to let everyody see it.
As u should now if you see the forum at least once a week, Zackconsole is a great developer. Although he doesn't have any device he has built a stable CM10.1 version, a very good ROM (C.A.M.P.S) and an alpha of a Sense 4.0 ROM. He has done that for FREE and I think that is amazing.
I was in i9003 forum. Samsung Galaxy SL is a good device, but it is a second brand device. It has a big RAM lack, a 1GHz processor, a bad Camera chip and other awful stuff. We donated to fuss132, who made the first MIUI and CM7 build for our device, We donated to DoomLoRD, and he built a great DoomKernel for us. We donated to dhiru, who built a very very stable CM10.1, and that is something that was impossible to us....

It is not difficult, I promise. Everybody donates as much as he/she can: 2€, 3$, 1000€ lol....

What is sad is that you're expecting to be flooded by donations just one day after you created this thread. And also, [REQUEST] addition in this thread title, is not helping factor.
Like everyone here is waiting for another dev to be donated, just based on your promising words.
Believe me, there are already enough devs in arc/S subforums being donated, so another one is not what everyone is craving for.
I'm not saying that Zackonsole is not great developer, or that he's not worth donation.
I'm just saying that you're naive if you thought that this thread will be invaded by people willing to donate one more developer.

Best/fastest/most stable ROM threads aren't allowed on XDA as it's a very subjective and touchy topic. I'd advise you to try whatever ROMs you think you might like and decide for yourself. :highfive:
