HD2 LEO stuck at t-mobile screen - HD2 General

Hello,
I wanted to change my android rom with another one so As I always do I backed up everything, I connected my phone to the computer (with screen with 3 colors) and I did a task29 from the HD2Toolkit. everything seemed fine but when I tried to reboot to the screen with 3 colors holding the volume down nothing happens and the phone is stuck on the T-mobile screen "stick together" how can I get to the Bootloader so I can flash again?
Thank you

You have to hold the volume down button down while you power on your HD2. This will boot your HD2 into bootloader.

Upgrading from magldr 1.1 to latest version

Hi there
I have magldr 1.1 installed on my hd2 I want to upgrade to the latest version how to upgrade??
Please help i am noob
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
Put phone into bootloader mode. Which is the tri color screen.
You can get into it by powering off phone, turning it on whilst holding vol down, and *poof*, the tri color screen appears. Now plug in the phone into the computer and start flashing the phone through the ROMupdateutility.exe, not the daf.exe. It will not erase your android build, dun worry.
thanks for the help i wasnt sure how to upgrade it either.followed what you said and it worked perfect.

[Q] Can not get into MAGLDR?!?!?

I sent off for a new phone (under my protection plan) due to two buttons not working and loaded MAGLDR, RADIO, CLOCKWORK ORANGE, and TyphooN on it. No problems... Works great... However, now I can not get into MAGLDR or CLOCKWORK while pressing the power button down. It just boots up normal... I first get the white and pink TMOBILE boot up, then it goes into the little android character, then an animated android character and bingo, phone works. I no longer get the MAGLDR boot up like I did before with another ROM.
Did I screw it up some how? Is it possible to re load MAGLDR without losing the ROM at this point??
Thanks!
Reloading without loosing all data won´t work.
Try to press and hold the power off button after the first screen. Yous should see the black MAgldr screen..

[Q] - unbootable device stuck in MAGLDR loop

EDIT: I have a guess about the cause of all these issues. It looks as if the phone behaves like the "call" button is being in a pressed state all the time. If the result of the below listed steps is the same when doing them, but with the "call" button pressed, that would confirm it. Can someone please do it?
EDIT2:
Success! Well, kind of. I downloaded Copes CyanogenMod 7 v 02/04/11 [Kernel: AmeriCanAndroid HK853+] SD MAGLDR ROM. I went through all the steps, and then realised there is a rel_path set in startup.txt. I removed it, since I'm doing everything in the sd root directory (as I can't select anything in the MAGLDR menu), and tried to boot. It got past the GO!GO!GO!, and booted Android. Unfortunately, as I feared, the digitizer is not working and I can't select the setup wizard in the dialog that is presented on first boot. I now took the battery out and back in, and it seems the boot process is stuck on htc splash screen, which is shown *after* the GO!GO!GO!. I guess it's all down to hardware now.

I got this HD2 the other day in an unbootable state. When I turn it on, first I get the HTC splash screen, MAGLDR menu appears briefly and then MAGLDR 1.13 tries to boot Android form the SD card. However, there is no kernel on the SD CARD, the error about it is shown on the screen and then MAGLDR menu is briefly shown again and the same thing repeats over and over. What I tried is the following:
1) holding down the power button while booting to get the MAGLDR menu, but the same thing happens
2) pressing some buttons -> while holding down the windows button, MAGLDR menu is presented. If I press the volume down button, the loop continues, if I press the volume up button, it tries to boot Windows Phone 7, but it can't find any. If I just let go the windows button, the loop continues
3) putting android on an SD Card - I chose the BoxmaX ROM - I took all the files from BoxmaX.KS.v8.6.KH8.5.1.rar\Android folder and put them to the root of the SD Card - now MAGLDR finds the kernel, boots it, but is then stuck on the GO!GO!GO! line
4) holding the volume key down and pressing end-call button, in order to get to the boot screen and see the radio version and try to flash the WinMo ROM - I can't get to the bootloader, it never shows. Instead I get the splash screen and the MAGLDR as usual
5) come to XDA and ask for help - so, what are my options now? Is there any way to get it to work?
The thing about the phone is that it could have been partially disassembled, so maybe some buttons don't work because of it (I suspect the volume down button, but it reacts while holding the win key). The digitizer too, is probably not responding, but I can't get to any screen where I could be able to test it.
P.S. I'm a HD2 newbie, never had it before, so please forgive any beginners mistakes.
Just a question.. you prefer booting from SD or the phone?
Right now I don't care. I just want to make it do something. In general, I prefer booting from NAND.
Have you try reinstalling magloader?
I'm not at home right now, but for sure we will get this to run... I will give you one big instruction rather asking you single questions... we will start from scratch... 3 steps
Brb 4hrs unless you found your answer
Booting from nand
1. Reinstall hspl... make sure its the right one for your phone. Get in bootloader to do this.
2. Reinstall magloader... 1.13... I believe that's the one...
3. Install a DAF version of rom... then we will get clock work on there since that's the preferred way of flashing rom IMO.
Hope this help you get started... ill keep checking back on you.
Thanx for your help. See my second edit in the first post.
Unfortunately I still can't enter the bootloader, so I can't flash either HSPL, or a WinMo 6.5 ROM.
Notice you say call button seems to be in pressed mode... if that's the cause try to get that fix... to get to it you have to remove digitizer... getting that fix that will help a lot.
I never mess with SD boot so I would not know how to help you in that but if its a nand boot... I know
you might have got the wrong daf configurations or defective hspl or magldr
Have you checked your battery pins to see if one is bent slightly. one of the battery pins being bent has been know to cause boot loops. Worth a good look at the battery pins for sure....
Thank you all for the advice. I disassembled the phone today, disconnected the keypad flex cable, tried powering it on with the volume button pressed and, lo and behold, bootloader screen appeared. So, I'll order a new keypad flex cable, and try it then.

Welcome to the forum. What radio do you have? Switch on while holding volume down and tell us exactly what is on the bootloader screen. I think that is right.
For more info
my bootloader show PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-2.08.HSPL 8G XE
0*05
CotullaHSPL 0*50
I still think it is your radio, see https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1021837 and https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611787

HTC HD2 Stuck on HTC screen after trying to install MAGLDR

Hello, I was just trying to install MAGLDR so I could put Android on my HTC HD2. For some reason, Windows Mobile stopped working on it, so it will stay on the white HTC screen forever. (The phone is not bricked, as when I hold down the volume down button, it will go to the RGB screen that shows SPL info etc.) So, I installed HSPL, (That worked fine), and then tried to install MAGDLR on it. This did not go as smoothly. When I install it with the ROMUpdateUtility.exe (Ran as admin) it does the procedure and says it completed, and the green progress bar on the phone reaches 100, and so does the app on the PC. However, when I try to boot to MAGDLR on the phone after it reboots it, it just goes back to the white HTC screen forever. I tried using the reset hole behind the battery cover, then holding down the pwr button forever, that also did not work. Below is a list of steps I did in total from start to finish.
1. Put the device into the RGB screen on startup
2. Installed HSPL successfully (Said "We hacked it! " on the phone)
3. Rebooted the phone to the RGB screen on startup again
4. Ran ROMUpdateUtility.exe as admin on PC to install MAGDLR
5. That said it was completed successfully
6. Tried going to the MAGDLR on the phone
7. The phone just goes back to the white HTC screen as before
Am I missing something? As I simply can not figure out how to boot to MAGDLR on the phone after it "installs".
