Hey guys - i have seen this post in the development section for the acer tab:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1252957
With a link to the system dump for the lenovo thinkpad. Hopefully a Developer try a Rom with this for our TF
Romdump:

Why would a link to another thread qualify to be posted in development?
This belongs in General. If development begins then a new thread can be created.
Info: It seems that all Lenovo Apps work very well on the Transformer and the Lenovo Shop too. (In my opionion very nice, but the Apps are not cheap - for example AngryBirdsHD Ad-free $4,99.)
There are also a nice USBStorage App (a little bit crappy)
Edit: Ok, not all Lenovo Apps. The Note App doesn´t work.

WHere can I find this thread in the link:http://www.xda-developers.com/andro...rs/ShsH+(xda-developers)&utm_content=FaceBook
Since clicking on the link inside which goes to the mentioned thread, points me to an invalid thread page. Also, is it compatible with stock ICS rom?
it was in nexus s development section but it seems to have been moved or deleted
Seems to be only for GB...but who knows
Seems that post is available again:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1543740
Seems to be for GB and higher (including ICS).
Hi,
Not sure if this is the right forum to post this but I am looking to purchase the GN2 as my first Android device when the US carriers eventually carries it. Could someone explain what the difference between the Android Development vs the Original Android Development subforums? TIA!

First of all it should go to Questions and Answers subforum (http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1792).
Android Development needs you to post your own port, modifications to the roms/kernels, but you have to keep in mind that you shouldn't post anything that you haven't modified/created yourself (posting links to a rom that you can't support).

Original Android Development requires you to post your own work, usually made from scratch, which you can't find in other roms.

Hi guys ,Let me introduce I am a user
of lenovo A6000 and I created this thread
for the purpose of getting a separate fOrum for lenovo A6000/plus instead of general discussion.
This device reached 1 year but still no support from xda .As we have seen all devices are getting separate forum in quick succession as for example Redmi
3.Most surprisingly that even Redmi 2 recently got a forum along with redmi 3 .Our device has same specs as that
of redmi 2 and I think we have developers for custom roms kernels, etc. We recently got source build of cm 13 by a great developer flourmo,cm12 by a talented person ED300
.On the other hand ,Chhapil did a really outstanding work by making a awaited custom kernel for this device
.Chhapil has compiled from official
lenovo kk source which is complete now.We got another reason for a separate forum i.e.A complete kernel source code released by lenovo.
Lastly I request you to request xda to create a separate forum for A6000 on below link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1660354
A contribution from you will be a great help for further development of this awesome device.
Thanx guys lets see what xda do.
Hello users.. Please vote and make our voice herd..

I've a Samsung on5 and I'm TRYING to put a custom rom on. But all the on5 download links are either missing or lead to a dead end in google drive. every. single. one.
I have attempted to download not-so-equivalent ROMs for devices like Xiaomi 5, which also ran on Marshmallow, but those obviously don't work... Somebody aid me in mine quest to better mine magic mirror!
Please don't use this forum section for this...

No DevDB Files were transferred to the new XDA site.
There is a plan to make them accessible again, but I haven't seen an update on that yet.
my suggestion is to ask in the rom thread for someone to upload a copy to
Mega.nz, Googgle drive, Android file host...
Hi everyone,
I was very excite when I saw this post on TRWP site: https://twrp.me/site/update/2020/12/31/twrp-3.5.0-released.html since it would add the so much missed support for native android 10 devices like my 1+7tp mclaren, but to build this twrp you need an android device specific for 7tp mclaren I belive (similar to the ones found in https://github.com/TeamWin/?q=android_device_oneplus) (the android 10 branch)
Are there any guides on how to do this? I'm more than willing to give it a go and share it back if i manage to get it working.
My whole point in getting a OnePlus device was that I could dual boot (it would be really nice to be able to dual boot nethunter for work since I constantly need to do simple security assessments on the fly. Having that possibility on my mobile would be a huge time saver for me)
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
And congratulations to all on this forum. It's always great to see the coding communities at work!
