few days back i just came across this so i am sharing it with you all.i have not developed it.all credit goes to the developer.
This will give you arc like music player and better camera UI.
installation:
just copy these files and paste it in
system/app folder using any file manager with root permissions.(e.g ES FILE EXPLORER)
i think music player is same as in x10's GB update!

WELL,i am not sure because i use Wolfs TW Gingerbread so not tested on MIUI.still you can give it a try if it shows fc's then install back original files.
Only on roms. That already use se default camera app

Whats so different about the music player? For me it looks the same like in the 2.3 Update.
The Camera App has also the same ui just other background colors.

try titanium backup...u can uninstall system apps, and install a preferred app...
PS don't get trigger happy with the uninstall button....

you cannot uninstall beats, bravia and xloud once you have installed them since they are not applications but libraries,
the only way to remove is flashing back to stock

the info provided was to help him in changing his music player and remove apps he may not need. changing the music player may fix his issue and he gets to keep the bravia engine etc....

Well here is my review :Tested and configwizard is getting an fc in a loop (because the app restarts itself and continues to give an error) which doesnt allows you to get to use the phone. I actually solved this by flashing gapps, so there might be a problem with the gapps included in your rom. Overall nice look, altough i had to apply the theme (it wasnt implemented natively).Overall good start, but you should try to add more stuff, as it is right now its simply cm10 with a xperia s theme oh and with the addition of walkman music player, no intention to be mean or anything, just saying that it needs some tweaks, mods, and stuff . Good luck :good:
Edit: Gettings lots and lots of superuser requests, i guess superuser cant remember requests, you better change that app to supersu

yep a did everything you need to do and everytime i reboot it it sticks at the experia screen. i have read above and it says a problem with gapps so if you could put a link on for me to flash gapps maybe that would fix it

Yes you are right..its icysnap 2.1..
The latest version will update soon,
Now at this time busy with porting honeycream, octopussy and icysnap 2.1 for CM7..
So it will take some time..but will port soon...
Edit: also if we fixed the bugs from this rom, then I am sure we will get update which is almost bug free...

This mod will fix every sound issue (sound recorder, camcorder, audio playback...)
Flash works only on twrp recovery !
For official CM12.1 recovery don't flash ! just unzip and copy the files inside and set permissions.
Update : google voice command fixed

Make a test on the video recorder, it's very smooth and there is no lag. FPS was improved too !

I'm wondering something, the DPI has been changed? Trebuchet shows a lot more icons ion the app drawer, and the fonts seems to be smaller everywhere after this patch

yes, dpi = 440 you can change it on build.prop
change this line :
ro.sf.lcd_density=440 to 480
440 is optimal density for 5" size
Can you please tell us what else has been changed? the phone feels and sounds a LOT better, this is an amazing improvement!
First of all, i don't have Z1. This is from my Z1 compact tweaks !
- There are a lot of modifications on : build.prop, media_profiles.xml and mixer_paths.xml
- Z1 (and of course Z1c) don't have stereo speaker or mic. I tweaked mixer_paths.xml and media_profiles.xml for this.
- FPS on video recorder was increased on media_profiles.xml
- CyanogenMod forgot to put a file called "audio_platform_info.xml" on the last build from aug.29 and there was some errors on audio_effects.xml that didn't match with soundfx and audio_policy.msm8974.so
That's all !

Please flash over the new nightly from 13.09.2014 and up !

great, awesome i make party now..love you for doing this...every voice recording was so quiet until now...whatsapp voice memo was useless cause nobody was able to understand...
one single bug: in Cyanogenmod Version it shows only "11" and so the cm version which is installed get offered to update...so it wants me to update but it is the same version which is already installed..hope you understand what i mean..
but thats a little mistake ....

no it is simply perfect...your great mod!!! is causing many little problems... because of your edited build.prop...in landscape mode in youtube for example it shows no on screen buttons...only one circle of it but is has no function....also all the build updates were disturbed which was causing wrong update messages...
the simple solutin is to delete the build.prop in your audio fix zip file and flash the file.....but you have to reinstall google apps after flashing the zip without the build.prop...but now all is fine and thanks again for this mod!!

Would you guys please help me? Do I have to "simply" overwrite the files in that .zip?

You have to install it through recovery.Just like you installed cm11.Hope that helped.

you can install it whenever you want
but you have to reinstall it after every software update

Viper4android requires root, there is not non root version of the mod. Viper changes system audio files and that's why it requires root access

To be completely honest I do not know. So I went back through and read it a lil closer. Well what do ya know? You actually asked the very same question in that thread! I apologize for my false hope and will make sure I know at least something before I say anything next time.

thanks for the recommendation, I'll try.
But already I always try different players.
Many years testing result is Poweramp is the best (I have paid version).
But still v4a is excellent mode.

Poweramp is the best non root solution. I recommend to use it with REPLAY GAIN per track. You can create the tag info about RG with the PC software Foobar.

This bass equalizer is system wide so will work in any media app, I have used it on a few non rooted devices

Hy their The Best App where u can Mod Sound(really good) without root .....!
Is Power Amp Music Player, it's The First Player App wich really works fine and had much Settings for Costum Sound !!!
If Test Month is over you will be Asked to Her Payed Version.... nur their are some Cracked Versions out too..... so u dont have To pay The App. But be carefull some Cracking Pages have Maleware and other bad Stuff Into their Cracked Apk's Always Scann Them(For Virus,Maleware Aso.) before u Install The Cracked Version, and DeInstall Other Version Before ..!

100 percent agreed, already using paid Poweramp (have been fan for years, tried cracked versions as well), Poweramp is my first ever purchase from playstore,,,,, till now last one also
