Like the title states. does the htc hd mini utilize the tv-out function or not?
Mini has no TV out option.

Hi guys. I'm sure this question's been asked many times before:
The non TV-out "problem", is it because of the lack of hardware, or software?
No one knows?
No, there is no TV out port on this device. Google "HTC Athena" and look at its picture to see how a TV-out look like.
Cheers.
Apparently it does but needs the appropriate Qualcomm driver to enable it. And HTC weren't prepared to licence it (along with video acceleration) - allegedly!
No, the Touch HD does NOT have HARDWARE support for TV-Out.
This has confirmed previously by HTC, quoted somewhere here on the forums.
TV-Out is not gonna happen for the Touch HD!

They are two unrelated matters, I think. You don't need the driver to enable it. Athena does not have the driver, but has the TV out.
Hi,
Since I can run psxe, snes, genesis emulators on the HTCDesire HD, I was wondering if I could link the smartphone to a TV so that I can see gameplay off the tv - use the smartphone as a mini console carrier.
Thanks
Just do it!!I think it must work!!
The DHD had has no tv out/in, you can do it with a pc, but it would be slow

Guess you then have to wait for the HTC Incredible S, which is the HD with TV out (HDMI)
I wish DHD had TV out. I was torn between DHD and Motorola Atrix which has TV out. I went with DHD since bootloader of Atrix was rumored to be encrypted. Motorola lost my sale due to this policy.
Hi guys, I currently have a Droid X which I like very much specifically the DLNA and Xbox 360 sharing features, both of which allow me to wirelessly access my music, photos, and videos from my phone and computer on my Xbox Does the Xoom have this feature or at least does Gingerbread 3.x support it/plan on supporting it?
Also I read in one of the reviews that the miniHDMI out doesn't work directly from the device, rather it needs the dock and then from the dock you go miniHDMI to HDMI on the TV, is this true? (That wouldn't make much sense to me...)
All in all, I have to say I'm excited to be a consumer now-a-days, I'm leaning towards the Xoom, but I do miss certain apps from my Ipad of which there are no GOOD substitutes on android. Specifically, AirVideo which worked like a charm both over wi-fi and 3G and GoodReader, both of which I used religiously. I also hope that Netflix will have an android app soon. Besides that though, I must say if I don't get the xoom, I'm excited to finally start customizing the looks and basic UI, like I have with LP and Desktop Widgets on my Droid X.
Currently the xoom doesn't support dlna. Possibly in the future?
The HD dock is not needed to use HDMI out. Just hook up any micro HDMI cable and it works fine.

Edit: I was wrong. I found an app that works! I'm using 2Player. Give that a try.
Yes it has DLNA ... look for Skifta in the market ... and if you run into any issues use their tech support like i did in this thread http://forums.skifta.com/topic/tablet-support?replies=12#post-1164

Hello,
I´m wondering if the G Note has a TV-Out in Europe since there is mentioned one on the Samsung HP, but when i read the english or german manual there is nothing about this connectivity in it.
Since there are 2 versions of the Note (europe/world : 16GB/32GB, NFC no/yes) there is probably a diffrence here as well?
does someone know about it ?
someone here having a G Note in europe and can tell us, if there is an option for connection to a (hdmi) TV?!
thanks a lot in advance,
flo

Tried the samsung MHL adaptor for GS2, working well!
if someone have the note with mhl, can you confirm deny this?
GS2 with mhl was a mirror on screens of 800x480 on the ui, only 720p on video
will the mirror of note 1280x800 allowing to see good quality of mirroring games or videos from apps of the gui like youtube and dont look like pure crap?
I know, I know, there's little hope for mirroring our nexus 7's but the mirroring technology is available via Medialink HD. As far as i know, the HTC One series are the only brand of phones able to mirror without using miracast. Can anybody clarify as to if it is a software enabled thing or hardware? Because if it is software, maybe we can somehow frankenstein it into our nexus 7 to mirror it that way?
It may just be hopeful thinking, but thought I'd just throw it up there.
Sorry if there is already a thread on this.
