i got virtuous unity with sense 3.0. how do i increase font size of my stock sms of the widget? and how do i also increase system font size?
Install Spare Parts and you can change system font size.
You can install a larger font. Different fonts are different sizes. For example Calibri is smaller than Arial. You will have to hunt around for different fonts that you like.

a search in Google would reveal you thousands of free fonts. to change fonts you need to root you phone and replace the font inside system/fonts folder. Again search google for tutorials

Copied the DroidSansFallback.ttf file into root of sdcard and issued the following commands
adb shell
su
mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system
cd /sdcard
busybox cp DroidSansFallback.ttf /system/fonts
mount -o ro,remount -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system

It can change the font, but it also has a density adjustment function as well...which will even let u preview the font size and custom font. In sum, it can do both. =)

hi Obartuckc.. i installed the app. it does increase the font size but not everything on the phone. it doesnt change the font size for settings or the font size in the widget stock sms app.
Well, to change that, all I can think of is for you to try prop editor and adjust the lcd density of your entire framework.

Trappz, there's an app called Prop Editor...not sure if it's on the market. I got mine from the Atrix forum here on XDA, but I'm sure you can do a google search for it on your device.

Hi,
This is a flipfont apk, SegoeUI WP font pack.
You can download it straight away and load it up 'cause it's an apk.
It works great with Handcent, ChompSMS, GOsms etc.
Enjoy!
But I looked at the TTF inside the font is Bauhaus ITC, not SegoeUI WP?
EDIT: The real font is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=678190

It says Bauhaus but it is SegoeUI if you load it up. My friend created this and gave it to me.
Some renaming was involved in the process. Obviously didn't change it back.
how to revert if necessary?

Don't think you can without recreating the font pack again & unfortunately he did it a while ago & can't remember how.
When I load it on my Desire, it says. segoe and looks like segoe. I'm unsure as to why sometimes it says Bauhaus and other times segoe.
I have 2.3.3 Android and my Icons are very small. Can I make the Icons on LauncherProPlus bigger and some of my apps are very small when I open them?
I just upgraded to 2.3.3 because I wanted to try that. I still find it very time consuming to install all apps, settings, etc., when you move to another Android version. Yes, I did even try to restore from Titanium, Apps Moster Pro, and Backup All and that did not work. Apparently I am doing something wrong. When I did a restore under WM 6.x using SPB Backup, it was so quick and simple.
I did a search and found all Icon/Icon Size searches, but could not find this answer.
Thanks in advance.

You would need to use Fontchanger, but why would you want to get rid of Roboto? It's so clean and cool. It defines what Android is.

tekken179:- Can you tell me which font is best suited for Nexus 4??
And how can I get it?

i like ubuntu :good:
in my mediafirefolder is a flashable zip ...
You can either use an app or goto system/fonts, just make sure you keep the file names the same
Personally nothing looks better for me more than the Roboto Slab font from Google Now
Opifico looks good too.

it´s a flashable zip for recovery
you need a custom recovery like CWM or Twrp to install it
try the options mentioned here...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2011339&page=2
Make sure to take Nand before doing anything.... to avoid boot loop....

check the playstore and there should be apps to be able to change fonts without rooting
read this as well
http://www.androidauthority.com/how-to-change-the-fonts-on-your-android-phone-32078/
safest way to change the fonts is using some 3rd party launcher.....
if u don't want to root and don't want to use 3rd party launcher... and try to use any app to change the font other than launcher,...
u may get into boot loop...so be very careful before doing this....
if you got into boot loop with out rooting... u may brick ur phone.....
hi friends.
i am looking for font changer app but no root on my phone.

The only way to change your fonts without root is to check in Settings - Display and wallpaper - Font - Font style, the download button and download the ones offered via galaxy apps (they are not free!!!). Sorry...no root , no other alternative. Cheers!

I use HiFont app. Search it on google playstore. It's pretty decent. If you're looking for specific font, but it's not on HiFont app then you can download it off Google and HiFont will automatically detect the downloaded font and will ask if you would like to change it the font you just downloaded.
NOTE: I have no root.
I use iFont (Donate) and prefer ubuntu font according to my personal taste. No root or restart required.

( bump of an older Post I made )
So, I got an S7 edge a while ago and I decided I wanted to install some custom fonts on my phone. So i went to google play and downloaded a few flipfonts. I went to settings>fonts and selected a font to use as the default and hit done. Unsupported font error! I was browsing XDA and saw another thread with a reply that said something along the lines of the font needs to be signed by monotype, something like that. Another reply to that same thread said that editing the samsung sans apk and replacing the samsung sans TTF file with your desired font and resigning it makes a valid font apk. How do you do resign the apk? I can add in the font that i want but it gives the unsupported error again. Thanks in advance!
