Tegrazone Games FC - Acer Iconia A500

I was running stock 3.1 with Richardtrip's kernel. I had previously downloaded the three free games, but I started getting Tegrazone force closes so I decided to flash Taboonay 2.0 with Richardtrip's latest. I'm still getting Tegrazone force closes, any idea how I can get this thing to work?

No clue
You could just always hit http://www.tegrazone.com/ - seems to have everything the app has and more.

I am on an unrooted stock Acer A500. It is force closing too. We have ver 2.3 the market has ver 2.4. Unfortunately it doesn't allow you to update it.

same problem... cant open the application

HC 3.1 (rooted)
Acer A500 4.010.38 COM GEN1
Had the same problem.
Update the app, manually via market. (i was able to update it)
gl.

I couldn't update using the market app. What I did was use the android browser to go the market.android.com. I was able to update it from there. It now opens without problems.

Market 2.2

I installed new update 2.2 . When i went to the market and i downloaded any App.and try install the phone reboot!!
Anyone had the same issue or any fix for this?
for those have the issue , i found the fix. You need do a factory reset and ready to go..
What version of the update are you using? I'm using the .3 version of the update. Just downloaded some updates to my apps from the marketplace with any major issues -- had to download a few updates twice but that's about it.

.3 of the Froyo update ???
i doubt there is a .1 or a .2
you have .3 because that is what the update is.
unless someone reports otherwise everyone should be getting a xx.xx.xxx.3 file version. (i would imagine)

Yes i got new version 3.36.651.3 . After do a factory reset now market work normal. Everything work fine and normal
The only issue is the PRI never change to 1.40.03 from 134.003 in the 147.651.1 and now with the new update 3.36.651.3
Factory reset didn't help me, I have about ten copy-protected apps not available. Includes Docs to Go key, NYTimes app, Uno, Pac-Man, etc. I tried a factory reset, to fix some other issues, and now these aren't showing up. Anyone know if its because of the PRI issue or just because the Froyo build isn't activated on Google's end?

Exactly, its not the official EVO Froyo yet, it was a prerelease that was yanked by HTC. Thus Google hasnt enabled it in the market. Next week when the official OTA goes out from sprint.
If you did a titanium backup you could try to restore the app that way.

[Q] Push install apps via market.android.com

I finally got round to watching the Honeycomb features video last night and logged on to market.android.com and tried the 'one-click-install' that should push the app to your phone over the magic of the internet and Androidism.
However it says it's been installed (on the web page) but my phone never receives notification of the app being installed and the app is not installed, so I'm thinking we need a certain version of the Android Market?
I'm running CM7.0 with the GAPPS for it, 2.2.7.
I only have the 1 android device and it's listed as it should be on the install page of any app.
Anyone else got it working?
Worked fine for me when I tried few days ago.
Sent from my HTC Legend using XDA App
I found that apps pushed from the market.android.com website wouldn't be installed on the phone when running CM7 (I think around nightly #24-ish) but if I switched to a Sense based rom (nDAF's 1.7 based on BlaY0's B-0.7) then the apps would be received and installed. It looks like CM7 might not be compatible with pushing apps from the market web site, unless it's been sorted in more recent nigthly's. Might try it again and also with with CM6.1 when I get a minute.
EDIT:
OK, tried pushing Talking Tom Cat Free from the website but it isn't received on the phone with latest CM7 (nightly #33) and Market 2.2.11 intalled.
UPDATE:
It seems that, for me at least, apps push from the website ok with a clean install of CM7, i.e. data/cache wipe during intall or factory reset of exiting insatllation, but wont work with a restored backup of a pervious intallation. Suggests that it must be some sort of Cache thing?
Thanks going to try fiddle now
Went for a fresh install of cm7.0 that Ali released in early January and it's working now fantastic!
Glad to be of help.
I think it should work with any CM7 release as long as the data/cache is wiped. I had it working with the latest nightly release from yesterday. #33 I think. I might try restoring a older version and then selectively delete the cache from various apps to see if I can find the culprit.

[Q] Flixter movies app FCing after 3.1 update on UK WiFi XOOM

Hi,
As the subject states, I'm experiencing a force close issue with the flixter movies app. Each time I attempt to open it, it fails to load; the main activity window appears, but then it crashes and I have to FC it.
This only started happening after I updated to HC 3.1 (unlocked bootloader, US WiFi image flashed).
I've tried clearing cache, app data, uninstalling it and reinstalling it.
Has anybody else experienced this? Any ideas?
im having the same problem on unrooted Verizon xoom running 3.1

Netflix officially works as of 10- 19-2011

The official market Netflix app is now showing compatibility with the Transformer..
The Netflix also now works officially in Canada. Tested on my TF and my Nexus S, works perfectly. Finally!
I had to go to the Android Market website since it didn't show up on my TF running Prime 2.0.4. But it installed just fine afterwards.
Yep, Installed it on my TF, Xoom, Gtab and HTC Inspire 4G. Finally works on all my devices!
Officially? I've had Netflix on my TF and it's been working fine. Could have sworn I got it from the market.
Is there anyway to get rid of the netflix app? I am having trouble connecting with netflix 1.5.x +.
On stock rom, not rooted. Before updating the firmware I was running netflix ver 1.4 which did not give me any problems.
Netflix 1.5+ runs fine when it is connecting to my home wifi but when I am connected to my work's wifi, I am getting this error:
Sorry we could not readh the Netflix service. Please try again later. If the problems persists please visit the Netflix website (1003).
Disregard, I was able to install 1.4 by just by installing it over the newer version. Will have to contact netflix as to why 1.5+ doesn't work on my work's wifi.
Arghh.. so I updated to the newest firmware and I am unable to go back to the older version of netflix. It installs fine but when I run the program, I get the following popup message:
New version of application is found, you must upgrade to be able to use application.
I didn't have that problem with the recent firmware update. Any suggestions?

I don't think this is firmware related. I've yet to update to either .18/.19 but I'm now getting the same message. Netflix won't allow me to view any content and just quits when I cancel.
Do I have to actually pay for a netflix account to use the app?

I'm able to find a 1.4.1 that works but I am unable to install it because new firmware won't let me uninstall the current netflix
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=15841797&postcount=2
it works fine on my touchpad and doesn't have the update message.

Strange. My firmware is the same as the 3.2 update.
[edit]
I just used Titanium Backup to uninstall netflix then reinstalled 1.41 and it works.

[Q] Market force closing in MIUI

I have been running MIUI 1.11.4 since it came out and for some reason, yesterday, the Market app has decided to start force closing on me. I can open Market and can even get to My Apps but when I try to go to an app page it force closes. I tried re-flashing the ROM and Gapps but nothing seems to help. Any ideas?
I was having the same problem. Gave up and just flashed Mirage. So far so good...
Did some more looking around. Pretty good thread about it over on MIUI.us. Sounds like it's an issue with the newest version of Market. If you uninstall the update in App Manager it works fine. It's only a temporary fix though as the Market will auto update again eventually. Then you have to uninstall the update again to get it to work again. It's an inconvenience but I really like MIUI on my NC so I'll put up with it.
