Backlight & Contrast

I wonder if there is a way or a tool to gain backlight, I bought qtek2060 yesterday and it seems like the brightness was set to half, but it is set to max, can I do something whith it?
Or is it possible to set more backlight in registry? I think my hima can shine more, but how to do that pls )

What is the darkest possible backlight option ? I often read at night. Also, is backlight easily changed ? On WM 6.1 you simply click on battery.

you still can click on the battery to change light settings:
start - settings - menu - more -system - battery. There you can change the settings.
I disabled automatic light setting and have it on 40% - suits me well.
BTW: Clicking on the notification bar doesn't do the battery/light job.

So changing backlight takes 6 clicks !?
Anyway I still wonder what is the minimum level in total darkness .. I worry if it is not too strong. I want it to be pleasant to watch in total darkness for longer time.

I use it as a GPS and driving with it at night with automatic blacklight is fine. With my Touch Cruise i always set the blacklight to minimum but with this one I don't seem to need it, even thought it only goes down to 20%

That would remove the need of going into settings ! Thanks for info.

you can set it manually to 10% (and probably even lower with registry tweaks/changes)

Look iv been crazy from this
i like to cancell the v in the automatic brightness setting to have full brightness but alwas the phone plays with my brightness like the v was on somtimes dark and sometimes bright whats wrong how do i cancell this ???

have you got adapt display on, if so turn it off
under my device,display,screen mode

No this option not marked.
plz if any one can help why my brightness act like it on automatic when its not

When I wake up one day,I founded out that the phone screen is very bright,I tried to adjust the brightness but I can't decrease it.In the phone setting the brightness setting is in the minimum but actually brightness is still the Max. I checked the auto brightness setting,it was turned off,I can use other application to adjust the brightness,but once I exit the application,the brightness adjust to the maximum by itself. Please help!!!

Look in the power settings from Security menu

It might be set by the power profile which is currently active, lots of changes will be revert to set value in the power profile.
Let me know if it helps.

Try to update the MIUI
You can try to download and update MIUI and check if the issue still persists.

did you tried installing brightness control app it might work

i checked my power profile, i didnt set anything at all. And about using apps,i tried several apps but still it cannot adjust my brightness at all. When i use the apps, i can control the brightness, but when i exit the app without closing it (that is by home button), the brightness will auto adjust to the max brightness.

independent brightness always on and display??

hello. is possible, even in the hidden menu, to set independent function? in outdoor the always on display is invisible and i want set it at 100%, but the brightness when i use phone, at 100% is very bad for battery drain....

What ? Brightness of always on display should be bright right ? There is an option just under always on/off option to make always on brighter .
