Sometimes i can't hear

Hi all,
i have a little problem with my M3100.
When I am speaking to the telephone, some time, I do not hear any more for some seconds.
I remain without volume. Then, after some seconds it returns to hear.
I do also a hardreset but nothing.
Someone had already succeeded ? i must open it ?

You may have the loose front speaker contacts or faulty speaker described here:

I olny thik that if i can't repair it, i will lost the waranty...

Yes it is warranty voiding - I would always advise using warranty in preference to a do-it-yourself fix.

Hi Mike,
i opened yesterday night... and until now was everythink ok.
I just forced up the 2 pices of metal and was ok.
This night i must reopen it and maybe i will find the bad contact...
:-(

Ok - of course it is possible the speaker is faulty and not just the contacts.

do you know please if (with the tester) the 2 contacts must close or not ?
Usualy (afaik) the speakers must have conductor betwen 2 contacts ... or not ?
I tell you this because, i test the 2 contacts of my little speaker and there was no close circuit.
Do you know where can i faound another speaker please ?

On your meter you should NOT have an open circuit there should be a resistance reading not infinity (open circuit).
Another test you can do with some meters (ones that have a resistance multiplier X1 X10 X1000) is set it to X10 resistance scale and tap the probes on the speaker connections. You should hear a faint click in the speaker. This works because the meter delivers a small current in order to measure the resistance.
I forget now if it is the front or rear speaker you are having problems with?

i opened yesterday night again (sorry but i was in hollyday)
i so that the front speaker was interupted (not conduct)
... i opened the little speaker i repair it (so so hard) the wire is so little.
Now is work ... but the sound is little strident... maybe because of the worm
think that i used to paste the wire.
Anyway... now i'm looking to buy a speaker... the front one
... do you know some site where can i buy ?

I don't know of a source for the official front speaker, but the motorola L6/L7 earpiece/speaker fits and works. Not exactly identical but similar.

The ringtone sounds cause the ringtone sounds on your headset and in the speakers on the device at the same time.... so the problem is your conector audio
blow it with air strongly men maybe it has a little piece of metal making contact on the pins and the device thinks he got pluged the earphones.... or plug and unplug repetedly and fast the earphones litle plug jajajaja like making love having sex with her !!!!

No sound when I call someone or someone call me please help !!!!

I have a HTC 3G JADE has a problem. I don 't hear anything when I phone someone or when someone phone me.
As against the speaker behind works well because I hear the bell and the player MP3. but impossible to hear anything during a conversation (unless I put in hands-free).
Please help me.

I think it's quite a serious problem and you may need to send the set to HTC for diagnosis (or replacement if it's still under warranty)

It's obvious that your speaker on the front is broken or has lost contact.
Another possibility is that the headphonesocket ont he bottom is broken.
The only solution after al you have tested is send it for repair.
Hope for you it's still under warranty.

I have htc mega and i have some strange problem with it...
Seems like when i talking over phone i accedently touch touchscreen with ear and call in terminated...
that is very big problem for me becouse i use mega with my bussiness SIM card and my clients are suprised for droping calls from my side...

Maybe is that you are pressing too much your phone to your face / ear while you are talking.

Is there any way to avoid this ? with some program or similar

You can try PhonEx. i think it got back screen off option while your phone is connected. So you can avoid call ended button pressing problem.

you can try s2u2.it has the black screen on talk option in settings.hope it will help you solve your problem..it worked for me

Problem With earphone ...

Hi there i have problem with earphone, i have sound everywhere, but when i have to call to someone i cant hear nothing, when the other contact discard my call i hear beep signals in my earphone and thats all... i've been read all of the threads here about this and i cant find solution ... i read about the radio and change it from 1.13 to 1.14 and nothing happens ... i'm using Energy.BLACKSTONE.29022.Sense2.5.Cookie.2.0.Jul.04, i've been tried with official rom, other energy roms .. and nothing ... :S i was in service, they fix it, it works fine but when i change my rom, all stops .. soo its software problem... please help me !
